Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The suite was one of the best rooms we've been to. Very big, with a kitchen, sofa, desk, good bed with prober linen, nice bathroom and lots of space. The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

I was impressed by the room (with two large flat screen TV's) and the quality of service. Everybody was really friendly. However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

"Very Nice Staff"
Room was not as large as pictured and looked out on a parking lot but bed and bedding were great and everything else as expected from a Hampton. For some reason the breakfast during the week was much more elaborate than that offered on Sat and Sun mornings but still plenty of choices. The front desk staff was very pleasant. Very near the DTW airport which was convenient for us but some people might not appreciate the jet noise, although it should be expected. "Stay before Flight"
I had a spectacular stay here. They put me in what I believe to be a suite for a very low price. The room was huge. The staff was friendly the room was great. I can't think of anything that would have made my stay better.
My stay @ the Hampton Inn was great! I recommend this hotel to anyone that is in this area visiting. I do think that the breakfast could have been better. (GRITS)

Have stayed at a number of airport hotels for DTW. By far the best - food, service, room, and a nice pool. And, combining with Qwik Park made it easy upon my return. With 2 QP shuttles waiting curbside when I got my luggage, there was no need to call the hotel and no wait. [Plus it was my bonus room from Hotels.com.]

We recently stayed overnight for an early morning flight out of Detroit Metro and couldn't have been more pleased. Travelling with 3 small children, we were very pleased with the service and condition of the room. Having a small fridge and a microwave is a huge plus with 3 kids under 4! "The Hampton Inn in Romulus, MI"
The hotel is gorgeous! Very modern, clean, appealing and super comfortable. The bedding is a dream. The a/c works wonderfully. I absolutely LOVED the walk in shower. You did not have to step in/out of a tub and it had very pretty shower doors. The room decor is perfect! This has become our new "hotel of choice" in Detroit!!

We booked our room just minutes after our arrival at the DTW airport (our plane was late some 20 hours). We got very good room for ver reasonable price. The best of the hotel is friendly desk staff -- they helped us a lot with our lost baggage.

"Great Hotel in Detroit"
Was pleasantly surprised to find an up to date facility. We were greeted with fresh coffee, tea and fresh baked cookies. Check in was fast. Room was very nice. Very new and exceptionally clean. This is a definite bargain. Will definitely book again when we are staying in Detroit/Romulus area.

"Beautiful Hotel...Bad Housekeeping"
This was a lovely hotel, we were delighted to find our room spacious and luxurious. We were so happy to have a great room, hardly any noise from the airport overhead. Too bad housekeeping decided to pound on our door at 8:30 AM to wake us. I called the desk to ask if there was a problem, and he said no, apologized for the interruption and assured me […] housekeeping didn't come in until 9:30. I opened the door and a young man from housekeeping was in the room across the hall - imagine that. I talked to the man at the desk, and he just said " I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do? bc plus haut de gamme que normale. Restaurant à Hilton Garden Inn qui est de coté. Nous avons pris une voiture de location à l'aeroport : il fallait 5 minutes pour arriver à l'hôtel. Le prix obtenu de hotels.com était intéressant.

El hotel esta sólo a cinco minutos del aeropuerto y cuenta con servicio de transporte hacia el hotel y veceversa. Las habitaciones son de tamaño mediana y cuantan con lo necesario para una buena estadía. El servicio del personal siempre fue muy cortés y de gran ayuda. El único incoveniente que le vi al hotel es que esta lejísimos del centro, el taxi […] te cobra 50 dólares más propina por trayecto.
