Dawn & Nova Motels - Wildwood

We stayed at the Dawn. The people were very helpful and friendly. The girl helped us with our bags as we were on the 2nd floor and no elevator. It is an old fashioned hotel with an old motive. They are trying to redecorate as the kitchen cabinets were new. The bathroom sink had low water pressure. There was no heat when the air got chilly. They need […] to update the decor to make it more pleasing to the eye. The location was excellent and convenient for us. I wish the owners luck in their redecorating. I should have known what to expect for the price. I don't need anything fancy, but the room had a musty smell that actually really bothered my boyfriend and I. The parking was a little bothersome because there were only just enough spots for each room, and if you were parked behind someone, you had to move your car in order for them to get out. I had rented out a motel room at Dawn and Nova for only a single night, and I was very impressed with the conditions. It is right next to the beach and boardwalk, so it made it easy to run back and forth without ever having to carry too many things. The rooms and Bathrooms were very clean and in good shape. I enjoyed my stay!

The motel is in an excellent location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The veranda outside our room was roomy and had a nice view of the boardwalk. The issue we had was the bathroom wasn't very clean and the bed spreads smelled like they hadn't been cleaned in sometime. There is a rite aid across the street so we cleaned it ourselves. You could do far worse than the Dawn and Nova Motel, especially at a price well below the rest of what was available. The obvious benefit is the location a block off the beach. Our team of 11 came down for the ultimate frisbee tournament, and believe it or not, the room had […] enough space/sleeping surfaces that between 2 rooms, only one person had to sleep on the floor. Now the bad news. If you care about cleanliness, this is not your place. The bathroom sink had grime in it, the shower drain in one of the rooms was so clogged it was barely useable, and there was dirt and grime in pretty much all of the corners of the room. The hotel is in a great location, a block from the beginning of the boardwalk and surrounded by lots of shops, huge rite aid right across street. Maintenence of hotel is lacking. Top floor railings ready to collapse and steps going up were rusting and falling apart with paint chipping. Wi-fi did not work! Both days i tried to connect from my room with […] no success. This was truly the worst motel I have ever set foot in....... I know it's a small, old style beach motel, so the lap of luxury is NOT to be expected..... However, we encountered a toilet covered in urine and pubic hairs, a filthy room with lights that didn't work...... A bedspread with an old, dried up blood stain, and a mattress cover with a smeared […] fecal stain!!!!! This room appears as if it hasn't been cleaned or maintained in literally YEARS. This place was an absolute disgrace..... Too bad, because Wildwood is a truly awesome place to visit, but this dump totally wrecked my 3 days we were there. Lisätietoja

its a nice hotle very close to the beach about a block away everyone was friendly about a block away from a pub the only draw back was the parking its setup piggy back style if you park behind some one you have to give them your keys. the internet speed there is sper fast. i would stay there again

this ,motel was very nice wildwood motel with an excellent location.........the woman at the front desk was sweet and very accomadating....the room had a small kitchen and a cold refrigerator,...two comfy beds and was very clean...i would stay here again...

Stayed there recently with my 10 year old son who is not at all fussy and not at all impressed. . It is nicely located right across the street from the beach and boardwalk. The place could be an absolute goldmine because of its location. - looks like the place has never been renovated since the sixties - the front office is a complete turn-off -the […] buildings are a wreck (a coat a paint would make a world of difference -the carpets and ceilings were grossly stained -furniture was not acceptable (straight from the sixties, no varnish left) -fridge did not work properly -bathroom was gross, when we turned on the water in bathtub and sink, the water was brown for the first few minutes The only good thing was that the beds were clean and decently comfortable. Location was good, Staff was great, Comfort of beds was horrible but it was workable.

I stayed at the Dawn Motel for our summer vacation with my family, including my husband and 2 young children. We had an amazing time. I feel the need to write a review when I usually don't, because I disagree with the other reviewers of this motel. We have stayed at several motels in Wildwood over the years, and this one is by far the best. The price […] was very reasonable, and what we got for the money was amazing. Our room was terrific, and the manager, who was very nice and helpful, really went out of her way to find the right room fit for our family and tell us about different things to do in the area. The room was clean and nice, and very comfortable. We did not really spend much time in our room though, as visitors to Wildwood know. There is just so much to do close to the motel. The Dawn's location can't be beat, being steps from the boardwalk and beach. Our kids had a terrific time exploring new rides and games and playing on the beach. The motel is also within walking distance of several very good restaurants, and night life. I highly recommend this motel. We had a great vacation and will definitely be back. Lisätietoja

upon arrival we requested some cleaning supplies to clean bathtub. None available except for a towel and liquid bleach. A quick run to the store across the street Ajax and a scrub brush did the job

they charge a lot for a small room with little more to offer and they get away with because you are walking distance to the boardwalk and beach and it is summer

Hotel tres bien situe. Hotel avec cuisinette renovee. Par contre, le reste de la chambre date des annees 70. Nous sommes restes 4 jours et la femme de menage a fait le menage une seule fois.

jai trouvé pour le prix de hôtel bien jai pas été souvent la.. mais je suis satisfait de mes vacances nous étions à cape may car la plage est proche
