Borghese on majatalo hotellihuonein, ei varsinainen hotelli. Siksi sinne ei ole kylttejä tai mainoksia, täytyy olla todella tarkkasilmäinen, että näkee ulkokyltistä kuinka löytää perille. Toinen hissi, toinen kerros. Aamiainen kannetaan huoneeseen, ei siis erikseen aamupalapöytää. Se pitää muistaa myös pyytää joka päivä erikseen, muuten sitä ei tule. […] Muutama huono asiakaspalvelija tiskillä ei kuitenkaan pilannut erinomaisten työntekijöiden panosta. Jean ja Kevin olivat superystävällisiä ja avuliaita! Lähellä kulkeva Via Veneto on todella rikkaitten katu, shoppailemaan ei heti pääse... It is a very clean comfortable place.It's not the best location or the newest facility, but it is definitely the best place and location that you can get for your $$.

Not the easiest place to find the first time because there isnt a sign stating "Rezidenza Borghese", but once at the address and youve figured out to ring the bell [wait for the door to open very slowly] and rung the bell on the second [inside] door to get it open and walked/taken the lift up to the second floor reception area - the staff and the guest […] house itself is great. Room is small but manageable and clean with modern decor. Reception staff were wonderful - with suggestions on things to see, places to eat - and happy to make reservations for you. My bag didnt arrive for a couple of days (thanks to the wonderful efficiency of Europes "best" Airline - not) and the staff were able to point me at a great store for emergency clothes at very reasonable prices. The area itself although residential has several great restaurants and Via Vaneto just a couple of blocks away provides easy access to restaurants, shops and the amazing sights of Rome. Lisätietoja

I recently stayed at Residneza Borghese. After reading the previous reviews, I anticipated it being a little confusing to find. The address was well maked, as was the #19 button to ring for service. Once I entered the security doors, I wasnt sure about where to go next. Let me tell you how, and you might want to make a note. Walk past the first evelator […] to the second. Go to 2nfd floor. RB is marked with a sign. Enter that door to the receptionist. Leslie was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. If fact, they all did which made it very easy for us. After getting my room key and all of our belongings upstairs, I wanted to check my email. There is very little WiFi reception in the rooms, so you must go to the lobby to use it. It was a little inconvenient at times, but not a big deal. The only issue is that each time I would go in and out of my room and thru the security door, which could be very noisy to close and open, I disturbed the people sleeping in room #107 because they are right across from that door. Unfortunatley because we arrived late, around 11pm, I unknowinly woke the people in #107. The man actually came out and yelled at me for being so noisy. I obviously was trying to be as quiet as I could, but did not realize how noisy it was to them. Because the receptionist has to "buzz" you in each time, they heard several buzzes which woke them. They were understandably annoyed which I would later find out why. I apolgized, but then was afraid to make any noise. The next morning we realized how thin the walls are in theis hotel/residence. You could literally hear every noise that people we making, not so much conversations, but walking down the hall, the stairs, and opening and closing doors. The rooms were extrememly clean and had a very new modern look. The large windows open to a balcony, but have no access. It was just nice to have fresh air in the mornings. We enjoyed this hotel in a nice neighborhood. The staff was extremely helpful. It made our trip very pleasant. Rooms were clean, well designed and furnished. Only wished breakfast had fresh fruit or ham and eggs rather than carb based breads and rolls.

After I made my reservation I discovered some very negative reviews of this condo hotel. I am delighted to say that I have not one negative thing to say. The location was fabulous, walking distance of the Villa Borghese, Via Veneto, Spanish Steps. The public transit was also very convenient. The personal service was beyond compare. I felt I was visiting […] friends. One review said the Residenza Borghese was run-down and scary. Not so. The front door was quite handsome; the entry hall looked palatial. True, a lack of signs can be troublesome. After ringing the bell,walk to the second elevator and go to the second floor. After that expect a warm greeting and plenty of neighborhood information. In general this was a good place to stay. The room was clean, the staff vey helpful and the neighbourhood was safe and comfortable. Only real problem I had was the location of the room was quite near to the reception area and I could everything that went on during the night. This is not your usual hotel. When you arrive you may think the cab driver has made a mistake. It is a group of rooms in a building that has business and year round residents in it as well. Once over that shock you wil have a very satisfactory stay. The rooms are typically European (small and austere) but they are modern, clean and well kept up. The […] staff is very friendly and helpful. They were very responsive to our requests. After 5 PM and on weekends the door to the building is closed and you have to buzz the reception desk to open the door. The residence borghese is a whole in the wall with nothing to offer a business traveler. We were told there was wireless but it didn't work and the didnt have enough cables to give out for all patrons to plug into the internet. I was told by my reservationist that parking was included but that was not true. I asked for two beds and when we got there […] the two beds where basically two single beds that when are made up with one sheet are considered a double and if bedded seperatly a single hence the two beds, with three iinches between them. The Residenza Borghese is within walking distance to the Barbarini Metro, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navonna. Kevin and Brenda Lewis were exceptional hosts who went out of their way to assist us with all our needs. Rooms are somewhat small but neat and clean...after an exhausting day of sightseeing and walking you will use the […] room to shower, nap and hopefully be off again to enjoy the evening when Rome is alive with activity. The Residenza Borghese Hotel has a wonderful location very close to the Via Vittorio and a short walk to the Galleria Borghese. The Galleria Borghese usually requires reservations for specific times of the day. The Hotel is surrounded by many restaurants. The staff is exceedingly helpful and pleasant with all requests.

Har dog ved gud aldrig oplevet noget lignende, intet brusebad, ingen vinduer, ingen aircon. Værelset indeholdte kun to senge og det var ALT. Pris og kvalitet hæger slet slet ikke sammen. Vi endte med at afbryde vores ophold og finde et andet hotel. Hertil skal Hotels.com have stor ros for deres hjælp. Vi tjekkede ind på Residenza Borgheese, et super […] lækket hotel, med rigtig god service, helt nyrenoveret , og hotellet ligger meget centralt tæt på spisesteder og maks 7 min gang til den spanke trappe. Das Hotel liegt nur weniger Meter von der Stadtmauer entfernt und es ist auch nicht weit in den Park Borghese. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiter empfehlen, es war sehr gemütlich, super sauber, toll eingerichtet und die Lage für Ausflüge innerhalb der Stadt optimal.

Si vous aimez les chambres très design, vous serez servi. C'est beau et de bonne qualité, dans le quartier haut gamme, des ambassades de Rome. Ce n'est pas un hôtel classique c'est en fait plusieurs appartements, d'un même très grand immeuble, qui ont été très bien restauré (insonorisation parfaite). Nous avons eu une chambre pour 4 très grande et très […] agréable (nous étions 2 avec 1 enfant), ce qui nous a permis d'y grignoter le soir (il y a une Supérette à 2 minutes). Ce n'est pas mal, car manger à Rome coûte cher. Le vrai souci c'est le petit déjeuner qui est servi dans la chambre. Outre qu'il est minimum, si vous avez des enfants sachez qu'il ne serve pas de lait chaud et céréales... Un peu ennuyeux. A part ça, le rapport qualité/ prix est plutôt bon. Attention sachez qu'il vous sera demandé des taxes de séjour d'environ 2 euros par pers et par jour lors de votre départ. C'est écrit sur le site mais je ne l'avais pas vu et c'est le seul hôtel qui nous ait demandé ça... Lisätietoja

Ankom Roma og fikk allerede på flyplassen god informasjon om hvordan finne frem til adressen/hotellet. Det er viktig å ha notert eksakt adresse - uten denne finner man ikke frem (ingen skilt, hotellresepsjon på bakkenivå e.l - anonym bygning) Det hadde og gjort seg med et par skilt: Gå i denne retning for resepsjon. Men vi fant frem og ble godt tatt […] imot. Ingen problem hverken med oppbevaring av bagasje før innsjekking eller etter utsjekking, vi fikk også hjelp til å skrive ut billetter vi bestilte på internett for å unngå kø til vatikanemuseet m.m. Enkle stilrene og komfortable rom, fine bad. Enkel frokost på rommet. Alt i alt: Vi hadde et flott opphold! Vi takket også ja til at hotellet organiserte transport tilbake til flyplassen, noe som totalt sett ble billligere enn da vi brukte kollektivtransport TIL hotellet. Anbefales Lisätietoja

Hotellet saknade skylt. När vi kom ditt så hittade vi inte till receptionen. Hissen fungerade dessutom inte så vi fick bära upp våra väskor. Det var ingen frukost buffe, snarare continental breakfast. Fick dessutom frukosten i en liten bricka till rummet. Personalen var mycket trevliga och lyhörda, men jag ger inte hotellet mer än 3 stjärnor i dagsläget. […] Mycket bra läge, när till allt. Restaurant tätt område, närhet till en jätte stor park. It looked great on the web site!!!! And, hard to believe, it had some good reviews (must be the hotel employees writing). What a horrible experience I had here. When I got to Via Sardegna 55, it looked like an abandoned building. I thought I was at the wrong place, and started asking around, but no one knew of Residenza Borghese. I went back to the […] computer to verify the address. Unbelievable, it was the right address. I looked at the buzz names and found Residenza Borghese listed on apartment 19. As I pressed it, the huge door started opening without anyone saying anything. I felt myself in a thrill movie, coming into an abandoned dirty castle, through a dark gallery. No signs anywhere indicating where to go. I go up on the elevator, floor by floor, and nothing – no one shows up, all doors closed, no signs of a hotel. I go back to the main door, now I am afraid, and press the button again. Now I wait for someone to say something, and a voice comes in informing that I should take the second elevator down the hall, not the first one. At this time I have regretted 100% having booked at this “place”. What they call hotel or guest house is an old apartment transformed into a bunch of rooms on a strange building. Looks like a pension. The “reception” is at one of the little rooms (probably one large apartment devided by wood walls). A Japanese lady, does not even let me speak about how afraid I am. Rather, she started telling me how well I would feel in the room and that she would be able to help me with any needs while in Rome. "Climate Controlled" rooms apparently means that you have to widely open the room window that faces an ugly alley, after which you will be hearing your neighbors to fight or have private parties - all night. Remember, this is an apartment building, and, after all, some people may be in their own houses. Smell of cigarette will come through to your room all night. A/C does not work – at all!!!!!!! vi har akkurat kommet hjem fra en fin helg i roma, og det med stort bidrag fra hotellet og dets personale. de var veldig service-innstillt, blide og snakket svært godt engelsk. rommet var pent og rent, og ble ryddet nøye hver dag. hotellet ligger i 2 etasje, med en sjarmerende liten heis. det er gangavstand til spansketrappen og handlegaten via del […] corso. hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk, og rommet var vendt mot bakgården med svært lite støy. litt lite utvalg i frokosten, men det var greit. vi anbefaler dette hotellet som en god ramme for en weekendtur!
