If you're on a budget and don't want to spend a lot in Kyoto, then this is a good place. It was definitely clean and the staff was friendly, though their English was pretty lacking. They tried very hard to communicate with me when I had questions, but there was quite a language barrier. The room is pretty tiny and the walls pretty thin. Luckily, I had […] quiet neighbors. There are nice big flat screen TVs in the rooms, but not a single English station...so it was pretty useless to me. I just figured I was in the heart of Japan, so the lack of English all around was to be expected. The bathroom was odd. It was like a bathroom in an RV. It was all made out of plastic like some prefabricated bathroom unit installed in a closet. The shower's water supply was connected to the sink's water supply, with a valve to flow the water to either the shower or sink. I didn't want to spend on a fancy hotel in Kyoto because there's so much to see, that I wasn't going to spend much time in the hotel. A good, budget hotel. Lisätietoja

Sits conveniently on the subway interchange and is near to Gion. Room is on the small side.

교토 지하철이 서로 교차하는 카라수마 오이케 역에서 1분거리에 위치한 호텔, 주변에 찾아보면 할아버지가 운영하시는 자전거 대여점이 있어, 자전거를 이용한 교토 여행도 편리함. 물론 버스/지하철을 이용한 교토 여행도 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 장점이 있음. 객실은 일본비지니스급 호텔 답게 깔끔하고 잘 정리되어 있고 동양인들 정서에 맞게 세면도구들이 매일 교체됨. 다만 가격면에서 약간 비싼감이 있음. 요즘 일본실정을 몰라서 그러는지 몰라도 작년에 갔던 오사카에 비해 호텔은 좀 비싼편임.

京都駅週周辺と、国際会館に行く必要があったので、地下鉄（烏丸御池）に近く、使いやすかったです。 建物はこじんまりとして、普通のビジネスホテルという印象でしたが、施設の不満はなかったです。 が、朝早かったので、7：30からの朝食が摂れなかったのは残念でした。京都市内ではこれくらいが標準クラス、なのでしょうか。

They smoke a lot in Japan which I'm really not used to (smoking isn't popular in Sweden) and the room smelled a little funny but was generally all right. The room and especially the bathroom is SMALL but kind of standard for Japan. I'm happy I'm not over 185 cm tall. The room was however always clean so that's good. The restaurants around the hotel […] isn't that good and the breakfast is expensive and looked like dogfood (so I didn't tried that). They speak English very well. In general, we picked the hotel because it was a non smoking hotel and that's the really good part with it. The hotel is near a subway station but not close to anything except Nijo Castle. 宿は少しまえのビジネスがリニューアルしたもので可も無くなく不可もない。目に付いたのは、ホテルマンたちの接遇。最近多い、型にはまった見かけのていねいさと違い、久しぶりに人間味を感じるホテルマンたちであった。迎えるにしても、わびるにしても、本当に本人が心から言っているという印象。都合、三人しか接していないので、たまたま、この三人だけかもしれないが、、。こういう心がけというのは、かたちはないものだけに、どうかいつまでも、大切にしてほしいと感じた。こういうホテルマンを教育した名も無きベテランホテルマンの心がけがしのばれ、興味深いステイとなった。

地下鉄烏丸御池の駅に近く、京都の中心といっても過言ではない、地下鉄で移動すれば東西南北、商用、観光に利便性はここ以上のところはないだろうと思う。
