Lovely small apartment-hotel in the Tuscan countryside. Beautiful landscapes all around. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in the country side, then this is probably it. Low star-rating can probably be explained by the somewhat limited opening hours and services offered by the reception. During our stay the staff was very friendly, however they only spoke Italian, though our own very limited Italian knowledge was no obstacle. Phone service in English. Do notice that in practice you'll need a car to reach this nice place, and that closest restaurants and shops are in the beautiful small town of Montalcino, about 10-15 minutes drive from here. Instructions for driving to the hotel are fairly good on their website, although the signage along the roads is not the best possible.

"Small nice hotel close to the Dome."
Wonderful and personal place! Interesting cat came visiting; the king of the piazza (a local celebrity...). Very nice breakfast , worth the money. Good information about Italy from the staff!
"Beautiful Montepulciano"
This is a lovely hotel in a lovely place....clean, very nice room. Owner, Salaveri (sp?) was very helpful in finding a fun (Aquacheta), good place to dine. Overall one of the better hotel keepers we met. The town of Montepulciano is incredible...like a postcard.
"Excellent stay in beautiful Tuscany"
My wife and I spent four nights here as part of our honeymoon (we also spent several nights in Florence and in Rome). First, I would strongly recommend Montepulciano for anyone seeking an authentic visit to beautiful Tuscany. Compared to Rome and Florence, the people in Montepulciano are much more friendly, the food is better, and the atmosphere is […] much more relaxed. OTuscany is the kind of place you want to go back to more than once. On the Albergo Duomo: the family that runs the hotel are very nice people, and you are likely to get more personal and friendly travel advice from them than you will anywhere in a bigger Italian city. The hotel is not really upscale, but it is better than the four-star one we stayed in at Florence. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and we had a nice view from our window. The hotel also serves an excellent breakfast (the best we had during our travels), with good cappucino and excellent pastries. One other piece of advice: Most people drive to Montepulciano, and if you do I recommend keeping your rental car on one of the lots on the outskirts of the town. Driving on those tiny one-way Italian roads in the town is crazy! Park at one of the lots on the outskirts, and ask Elisa to guide you to the hotel parking lot. Lisätietoja

The Hotel is centrally situated to the Piazza and the rest of Montepulciano.The reception , assistance and administration was good.We enjoyed the breakfast , which was included , and this really saw us through the day until supper.The Hotel arranged parking nearby and we will certainly stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to travellers.

L'hotel Duomo è davvero carino (bella stanza, altri ambienti molto gradevoli, i dipendenti molto gentili e pieni di informazioni sulla città) e e comodo (in pieno centro, con un parcheggio riservato molto vicino e subito all'ingresso della città senza dover passare per zone Ztl). Vi er et par som tilbrakte tre netter på Albergo Duomo. Det angrer vi ikke på. Døgnprisen var meget fordelaktig og servicen var upåklagelig. Frokost kostet 5 euro ekstra, men vi fikk en super frokost for denne beskjedne summen - faktisk bedre enn i de andre byene hvor vi inntok ett eller flere frokostmåltider under vår Toscanareise oktober - november […] 2011. "清潔で快適でした。"
場所はバスターミナルからは反対側の入り口が近く、山の一番上の広場の側なので坂をたくさん登って結構歩きました。１泊分の荷物をバックパックに詰めて行ったので大丈夫でしたがスーツケースはバスを使わないと無理でしょう。 ホテルのスタッフは質問すれば地図に印をつけて 教えてくれフレンドリーでした。 朝食も５ユーロ別払いですが、十分な量があるので食べて良かったです。 部屋もきれいでとても快適に過ごせました。

"Perfekt beliggenhet - like ved Piazza Grande"
Pluss for gratis parkering like ved, og for god frokost med ferske cornetti og skikkelig cappucino.
"Montepulciano er perlen i Toscana, synes jeg..."
"Vores værelse" 232, har den mest batagende udsigt. Der var sat lys i den gamle pejs og de røde, gamle gulv-fliser, var dejlige at gå på, smukt værelse! Morgennaden kunne godt være lidt bedre, vi savnede æg og bacon... Morgen-værten var ikke specielt venlig, han var sur!!
