I enjoyed the location of the JW Marriott LA Live the most, close to the Staples Center and great restaurants. In the room, the bed was deliciously comfortable and the decor was neutral. I did have difficulty trying to figure out the light switches in the bathroom. They are very confusing and should come with instructions! It required an unknown combination […] of pushes, which I never did figure out, to turn the lights on and off. Overnight stay to see Bon Jovi at the Staples Center. Very quick walk there and back. Clean and comfortable room.

We stayed here because we were going to an event at Staples Center. Perfect place for that. Parked the car and never touched it until we left. The only negative I can say is the pool area. They have no shade or umbrellas what so ever. We were there for business just for 1 night but all staff made our stay extremely comfortable and smooth. Everyone was highly professional and courteous. Great hotel. Absolutely J.W. quality. Hotel is designed to house convention type traffic. It is a very large hotel with all the amenities you would expect in a five star hotel. The rooms are of J.W. standard and were clean and comfortable. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel and a few more that are part of the complex.

The hotel and staff were great. Valet had my car read the 3 times i needed to leave the hotel during my stay. the only 2 very small issues I had were - I had to have the hotel maintenance come up since my tv had been unpluged before I got there (somehow). And I could not figure out how to lower the room refrigerator 45.

The executive king room was beautiful!!! Tons of windows in the room & bathroom, so we had a phenomenal view of LA & its surrounding. At the same time, the windows had shades & curtains to keep the sun & lights completely out during your hour of sleep ;) Service was top notch!! The room had real glassware in the room, hallway and bathroom. The decor was modern and metro. I love the chaise!! My bf and I will be making an annual J.W. Marriott stay, because we love this hotel so much. It's walking distance to la convention center, staples center, la live, nokia theater, and lucky strikes (bowling alley). Good location, friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful conciege, comfortable room. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday while we were away from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm. Called to front desk to tell them and ask for clean towels, but they said it would take 30 minutes for me to receive clean towels - we didn't wait. Fabulous location, shares a walkway with Nokia and is across the street from Staples. Quiet, nicely appointed room with a refrigerator. We well stay at this hotel again and again.

Great place to stay during the Rose Bowl. Easy access to all parts of LA, but we were happy at the hotel and barely left. Enjoyed the food service in the lobby.

We came down for a Lakers v Clippers game. We didn't want to deal with parking in LA and driving to Staples, parking again ect. This was super convenient for us. Check-in was great, very friendly, professional & infomative. The king-size bed was SO comfortable...wanted to take it home! JW Marriott has very nice view Suites compare with other local hotels. And in-room dinning has tasty roasted chicken and tender beef strip as well as strawberry ice cream. The bad thing about the hotel is the room clean attention. During my 5 nights stay, they seem like totally forgot cleaning on my room. I usually leave around noon time and take the […] "Serenity" sign back into room from outside door knob. But I only see room clean service people every morning instead of afternoon. Occasionally, I had a chance to talk to a person while she was on her duty and she said would come back to do the job but never showed up the rest of the day. The other suite I booked during same staying , they did room clean every day but never provide new soap, shampoo and conditioner. Those towels they changed everyday looked has been used for years, color was fade to off white and texture were not soft upon touching with body. Great and clean hotel... great service always willing to help. But location wise... no other attraction beside staples and nokia plaza. 15 - 20 mins walk to train and macy's and about 10 mins walk to the closest convenience store.

As we were greeted at the door by a young man who made a point of a warm welcome, as well as escorting us to Guest Relations, with pointing out other areas that would be of interest to us. Guest relations just as warm & friendly, as well as informed us the Hotel had upgraded our room to a suite! Its really a 5 star experience, the room rates are great, I expected to pay more. Only one thing I didn't care for was being charged 40 dollars to park, I think guests of the hotel should get some kind of discount.....because of this, I won't be coming back. 40 dollars a day is a bit ridiculous for parking.

The front desk was slow to confirm Expedia reservation and details but with my patience and persistance, as well as email proof they finally came around. We had 2 rooms, one had a "used" bathroom at check-in and I was able to get "the last room" available when I complained.

Stayed there because I had tickets to the 5:00 Notre Dame vs USC football game (stadium is about 3 miles away). We arrived at 1:00 pm even though published check in time is 4:00 pm. When I told the parking valet we would be checking in but I didn't know if they would let us check in this early, he told me "don't worry, we've been expecting you and we're […] all ready for you." (I was wearing a Notre Dame T-shirt.) Checking was abosolutely positive with no hint of "You're too earliness." The hotel and the room were gorgeous and immaculately clean. Every employee smiled and were excedingly helpful (except there was a slow waitress on the bar patio). Can't wait for an excuse to stay there again.
