Very enjoyable.Staff&room was excellent.Breakfast was fabulous.

Very enjoyable, Staff very customer focused and helpful in finding and planning various tours in the area.

We had two nights at the hotel and had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was good, just across the bridge from Charleston, 10mins to the historic district.

This was a very pleasant stay, although expensive for the value. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. My only complaint is that certain items on the continnental breakfast ran out-like no fresh fruit one day, and no skim milk or yogurt another day. The hotel was nice, but the staff was not friendly, which was actually mentioned in a review I read before I booked the hotel. I figured that the unfriendly staff was just a one time thing, but obviously that is not the case. The Holiday Inn needs to correct this problem.

If you don't need to stay in historic Charleston then this is a great place. If you are doing something at Patriots Point then this is super convenient.

This is a nice Holiday Inn Express, relatively new. There is a lot of traffic construction going on around the hotel right now, but it did not pose much of an issue for us. The hotel is right across the bridge, a five to ten minute drive to downtown, and parking was easy to find there, if a little pricey. The Holiday Inn Express and Suites was totally awesome!!! It was easy to find and close to many eating places. The room was comfortable and quiet. The view was great. We cold see the lit up new Charleston bridge. It was wasy to get onto !-26 to head south the next day. We woiuld definitely stay there again.

The Suites in this hotel are beautiful, roomy and comfortable.

Stayed over Christmas. Very nice, safe, reasonably priced motel. Exercise equipment very nice, although limited. Laundry on site, a plus for me.

Breakfast is not that great

A good example of how you can do better by avoiding hotels in the old historic centres, Charleston in this case. We had a big, comfortable room at a reasonable rate, everything there except a safe, friendly, helpful staff. The Whole Food mall opposite was convenient, plenty of restaurants around and when we went to Charleston it was easy to find free […] 2 hour parking places close to the centre. This is a great location, less than a 10 minute drive to anywhere you want to go in Charleston. Mt. Pleasant itself has a good, working plantation to visit. The downsides: The beds (at least in my room) were a bit saggy and can use mattress replacements; there is massive road construction going on in Mt. The only problem was with the construction on Johnnie Dodds Blvd.

We stayed here two days with our grandson. It was too chilly to swim outside, but he enjoyed putting his toes in the water. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever experienced. Thanks, Holiday Inn Express.

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and modern rooms. No complaints

Enjoyed the location of this hotel as it was right near the bridge for early morning exercise. Breakfast was very tasty. Room was very clean. Might like a smile or two from the front desk, but they may have just needed someone else to smile first. We'll stay again when we return if the price is right like it was this time.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at before! It was easy to get to and very close to restraunts. I really liked that they recycled, however they need to have recycle bins close to the elevators on the upper floors to encourage guest to recycle. We found some of the morning desk personel to be alittle bit stand offish, but we found alot of folks from SC to be that way. The traditional king room picture in the gallery is right on point, very roomy and I enjoyed the chair w/ the ottoman very much after a long day of walking. Me and my son stayed 2 night at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mt. Pleasant. I must say...perfekt!. Very kindly and capable staff. Super clean hotel!! Not this kind of Febreze stinking hotels you acutally can find almost everywhere. Compliments to the stuff and management.

We were looking for a solid property with clean and comfy rooms. We got a Jr Suite and it was very comfortable and quiet and affordable, and super convenient to Charleston, took like 3 mins to get across the river and another 5 to get downtown. We stayed here for our anniversary and were very pleased. Great location. 10 min. to beaches and downtown. Just off a busy road but no problems w/ car noise. Great comp. breakfast. All staff was very accommodating. Nice decor. We will be back!

This hotel is close enough to Charleston, 10 minutes, to be extremely convenient but far enough away to avoid the crowds and high prices. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I love this hotel! It was a very central location. About 15 miles from the beach and 4 miles from downtown Charleston. The ride to the beach was super easy. There was a decent amount of construction going on though. Overall very nice. Breakfast was outstanding!! and it ended at 9:30 but they were bring stuff out at 9:15.

This Holiday Inn Express carries an air of elegance within. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and equipped well. The staff, and grounds are also above average. Nice place to stay at a decent price.

This hotel is extremely clean and has a good location near shopping centers, restaurants, etc. The free breakfast is incredible and is much more than pastries and bagels. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, fruit, yogurt, juice varieties, coffee, tea,different varieties of milk all in addition to the usual items. I did not use the pool. Only here for one night, but would definitely stay again. Decor is lovely, staff was cordial and helpful, and room was fairly spacious and comfortable. Convenient to get to Shem's Creek venues and just a jog across the bridge to Historic Charleston.

I really enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, mostly due to the location. It was very easy to get to, looked extremely clean, and had a great staff! The breakfast was also pretty good, but I recommend getting there at or before 8:30 to beat the rush of people! I booked the hotel off the internet for a suite, I have two adult kids and two younger. I was suppose to get a suite with a pull out couch and that did not happen, then got charged twice for the roll-away bed. So I am still trying to get my money back for that. The room was crowded for all of us. I only got four towels when there was five of us, when […] I asked for another towel they told me they were out of towels. So we used our beach towels to dry off. I was also told that check out was noon and it was 11:00 a.m.. The breakfast was o.k. and the location was between the beach and easy access to downtown,so that was a good deal. I was in Charleston for a grad school session and needed somewhere simply to lay my head at night. The Holiday Inn Express in Mt. Pleasant was that and more. I'm not sure how old the hotel is, but it seemed brand new. The room was in great condition, the wireless network was effortless to access, the breakfast each morning was great and I even managed […] to use the treadmill in the exercise room and the pool a few times. There is also a small room set up with a computer and printer - which I accessed to print a few documents for my classes. Being located just over in Mt. Pleasant, it could not have been easier for me to be able to cross back over to Charleston and be where I needed to be in less than 10 minutes. However the police were called as we were checking out because another customer had locked up their money in the safe that is apparently behind the front desk and […] you never get to see them actually place the money in the safe, and when they went to get their money back, some was missing.
