Deevana Patong Resort & Spa - Kathu

Olimme tyytyväisiä hotelliin, vaikka olimme siellä vähän hoitamattomammalla puolella, jossa oli rauhallinen uima-allasalue ilman jytkyttävää musiikkia tai baaritiskiä. Superior-huone yllätti, kun siihen kuului sekä oleskeluhuone että makuuhuone.

Hotelli oli perushyvässä kunnossa ja on sijainniltaan todella hyvä. Kaikki tapahtumat ja ranta on 10-15 min kävelymatkan päässä, mutta mitkään äänet ei yökerhoista/liikenteestä hotellille kuulu. Hotellilta sai kaikki peruspalvelut: ravintola, pesula, lentokenttäkuljetus. Lentokenttäkuljetus oli edullinen (900b) verrattuna lentokentältä ostettuun kuljetukseen […] (1500b). Muuten hotellin palvelut olivat reilusti kalliimpia kuin muualla. Henkilökunta oli riittävän ystävällistä, mutta kaikella heidän palveluillaan oli hinta. Eli hotellivieraiden hyväksi ei juurikaan ylimääräistä efforttia nähty, vaan kaikesta veloitettiin. Aamupala kattava ja maukas, miinuksena mehutiivisteestä tehdyt mehut. varasimme mielestämme huoneen hotelli osiosta, päästyämme paikalle saimme huoneen vanhasta osiosta eikä hotellin puolelta saimme vaihdettua ensimmäisen huoneen hieman parampaan kun emme suostuneet siihen majoittumaan, mutta tämäkin versio oli hirveä

Minulla on ollut tapana antaa tippi vasta kun poistun hotellista. Tässä hotellisssa se kostautui kun en antanut tippiä en saanut wc-paperia huoneeseeni viimeisenä 4 päivänä siivoojien toimesta vaan se täytyi käydä erikseen pyytämässä respasta. Hotellin juomavesistä minulle yritettiin myös laittaa lasku kun otin pullon altaalle ja siivoojan saapuessa […] huoneeseen pullo ei ollut huoneessa vaan altaalla niin siivooja oli jättänyt lapun että olen hukannut hotellin omaisuutta. Hän jättä uuden veden jättämättä. Lasku oli vain 20bth pullolta mutta periaate kysymyksenä valitin respaan. Pyyhe teline oli pultattu wc-pöntön yläpuolelle niin että se oli jo aikasemmin vanhoista liimajäljistä päätellen tippunut ja tippui kerran minultakn kun otin normaalisti pyyhkeen sen päältä. Asiasta respaan kerrottaessa huoltomies luvattiin heti mutta tämä tuli 2 vuorokauden päästä. ja pulttasi telineen jälleen samoihin reikiin... joten parin päivän päästä telineen ja seinän välissä näytti olevan jo kunnon väli ja telineen pudotus lienee seuraavalle asiakkaalle myös tulossa. Hotellista hotellin oma minibussi kentälle maksoi yhdelle hengelle 750bth, hyvä turvallinen ilmastoitu kyyti. 28.11.2011. Lentokentältä taksin hoteliin sai 600bth pari viikkoa aikasemmin, kuski pysähtyi allekirjoittamaan lapun johonkin paikalliseen matkatoimistoon puolessa välissä matkaa ja sieltä tuli heti joku innokas myyjä hieromaan kauppaa matkoista noin 1,5 kertaseen hintaan. Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisen kadun varrella Patongin pohjoispäässä, kävelymatkan päässä illan riennoista ja ostosmahdollisuuksista. Hyvä aamupala, ystävällinen palvelu. Hotelli kaipaa tosin osin remonttia (Spa Wing). Varasimme huoneen Spa-Wingistä ja tämä oli kyllä suuri pettymys! Huone oli kulunut, hometta kasvoi seinissä ja verhoissa, sekä koko […] huone haisi selvästi ummehtuneelle ja homeelle. Kylpyhuoneen seinästä oli iso koukku irronnut ja seinässä vain iso betoninen reikä. Allasalueella aurinkovarjot olivat melkein kaikki rikki (reikäisiä tai muuten rikki), joka antoi epäsiistin kuvan heti alkuun. Altaan kaakeleista puuttui pakoittain sauma-ainetta. Garden Wingin huoneet olivat hiljattain remontoitu, mutta ovat selvästi pienempiä kuin kalliimmat Spa-Wingin huoneet. Nukuttuamme yhden yön kalliimmassa, mutta homeisessa Spa-Wingin huoneessa, pyysimme vaihtoa. Vähän jäi harmittamaan, sillä emme saaneet rahallista hyvitystä vaihdettuamme halvempaan huoneeseen. Garden-Wingin huoneeseen olimme tyytyväisiä, mutta sielläkin ilmastointilaite oli aivan mustan likaisen pölyn peittämä. Garden-Wingin allasalue oli uusi ja kaikki näytti siistiltä. Remontti oli vielä vähän keskenkin, sillä allas oli kolme päivää suljettuna korjausten vuoksi. Allasbaari olisi voinut soittaa musiikkia hieman hiljempaa. Lisätietoja

Not only was the hotel beautiful , it was close to everything , the staff were outstanding , great tour guides , great food and cocktails !!! I could not recommend this hotel more , booking my return as we speak !!

The hotel was fine. Very clean and a nice outdoor pool. It is about a 2 minute walk away from the main road and the rooms are set behind the main lobby which meant that you could get a quiet nights sleep away from the busy night life (except from the 1 night where the couple next door were arguing!)

This is first time i been to Phuket, i chosed stranded room in Deevana resort, but unfortunately it was not good option to live there. room was not decorated and not provided with the essentials facilities ! and i didn't find hotel staff friendly with the guests, i remember in the early morning i checked out for the airport and i need to make one phone […] call to the texi driver but the the front desk lady asked me i'll charge 20 Bath to make a call single callb! Nice pool that we could use during late night with very quiet and green area surrounding it. The room was always clean though one day I found that staff didn't lock the room and the room stayed open for almost a day. There was no Wi-fi in the Residence wing where we stayed. On our booked tourist trips we were always the first to be picked up and dropped by van drivers as hotel located at the very beginning of the city. our stay was very good but only downside hotel could have had more first aid facilities but this is a tourist industry problem in thailand but aprt from that nice hotle close but back from main drag nice pool but you have to upgrade to floor levels 2 & 3 for this if your on the gound floor in the basic room they are not nice

Arrived at 2am but check in was smooth. Booked a room by the garden & pool; basic but clean. Cable tv was small & never well tuned in. Well maintained hotel, in a bit noisy area we were staying also in Karon which was completely different. Good choice for people who want to party.

First of all there is no free Internet as it is written. They told me that their passwords have finish and they asked me to use the business corner that has extra charge. Generally the staff always asked for money. The room is not so nice like in the picture. I was lucky that I booked just for one day so the next day i changed hotel.

Resort was very big and green. Located very near to the patong beach. Staff was good. Rooms were very small and had mosquitoes. could improve on the room upkeep, rest no issues.

Can't recommend. I stayed in the standard room, there are about 15 of them surrounding one of the pools motel style. The rooms were huge, a big bedroom with ensuite plus a sitting room of the same size and a kitchenette. Very little furniture in them - cheap and chipped desk, chair, table and bed. Completely lacking any charm or character. The wifi […] was non-existent in the room so you have to sit around the lobby to access internet. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to the beach, but plenty of restaurant/bar/tuktuk/massage/T shirt shirt places just outside (but being down a side street it was quiet). The room was clean and the staff friendly, but this is Thailand and almost every hotel is clean and friendly. There are places in Phuket for about the same money with much more tasteful rooms and much nicer feel (eg Club Bamboo, which I have also reviewed). You can do better. Lisätietoja

Its a decent hotel.Had a nice stay.Was there for 3 days.Service was pretty gud. Hotel has good location and very quiet surroundings. Quality of stay was lowered by aircon fan that was noisy and unable to adjust, and the fact that we could not keep our room after 1PM even if we asked upon arrival to stay later because our flight was at 10PM in the evening. My wife and i stayed at Deevana Patong Spa and Resort recently. We arrived about 7pm and were pleasently surprised at the Hotel's apperance it was well kept and clean. We also were complementarily upgraded to a Spa room on the second floor and this too was pleasent. The room overlooked 1 of the pools with a swim up bar at the hotel. Awesome!! We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in the last week of the October. We booked a basic room with the breakfast. Room was fantastic as shown. Best things about the hotel is it's location, Just 15 mins walk to famous Bangla road and the beautiful Patong beach. Still very quite even at the happening hours. What an awesome stay! It was cheaper than any other hotel that I've stayed in, in Patong but at least 2X better. The staff are OK (you will get mixed bags everywhere you go) and the hotel itself is gorgeous! Albeit the best part is the walking distance to everything ^_^ I became quite friendly with some of the staff and I was only there for 3 nights, […] so it's very Thai in that respect...very friendly and easy going. I took my family to Phuket and chose this hotel as I found that MakeMyTrip , a reputed online tour operator in India has marked this as their default accommodation in Phuket for standard package. Though the size of the room (we stayed at superior garden variant)is smaller than my expectation , it had got all standard amenities. The only dampener was that in our final night of stay, our ground floor room (all at ground level at garden wing) went flooded due to an extremely heavy rain. The water stayed in the room until the rain stopped in the morning. This is the second time I have stayed at the Deevana and like the first time I give it my complete thumbs up. The breakfast every morning had a huge selection and was fresh and tasty. The staff in general where helpful and friendly. There is a great little coffee shop selling a nice coffee and yummy cakes. Our room was attended to daily with the sheets […] and towels being changed, the bathroom cleaned and all floors swept.
