Much cleaner and more quiet than last year. Only down fall were small flat pillows.
It was ok. Ice box didn't work in one of the rooms that we had booked. The other guests were disrespectful to other guests when it came time to be in bed.

This hotel was alright, we went for a NASCAR race and it was conveniently located. The area was not bad, it was surrounded by other hotels. The room was pretty rundown and the carpets needed to be vacuumed. The pillows were pretty gross. "Unclean"
Towels werent clean, full of stains, even when I asked for replacement. They will wake you up at 8 am to clean your room, the room smelled funny, pillows dirty and smelly and the sheets too.

Just the facts: Some of the room numbers are out of order. With three floors, I was doing alot of walking searching for my room. There was only one working ice machine. The working ice machine was hard to find and was far alway from my room. Again, with three floors there was alot of walking I had to do. It took alot of time to get hot water in my […] shower. I stayed 8 nights in this hotel and some nights I could NOT GET ANY HOT WATER. Also, along with the hot water issue, the hotel was out of washcloths. All managment could say when I complained was that they were simply out. I was told by managment to go to the hotel next door and ask if I could borrow some. They also were out. The laundry room was out of order. Managment did not know why. The hotel speaks of a continental breakfast in the mornings, but you get there at 7am and the lobby is locked up. I have stayed in Lenexa at other locations and feel that for the Price of Knight-Inn it is a great place to stay. Within easy reach of major highway and local businesses...

We were looking for a less expensive hotel as we were arriving after midnight and leaving early. "You Get what you pay for"
Crash pad for surgery the next day at local surgical center. This is a cheap hotel with basic accomodations. The clerk was friendly and helpful. You got what you paid for..a cheap hotel.

There were noises of pieces of the roof hitting the side of hotel all night and made almost impossible to sleep. The mattress was old and worn down and not very supportative. The fridge was nice except at a low setting it was freezing everything in it.

Front desk guy did not know where the room was. The stairs were blocked by police tape, 2x4's and garbage cans. The room's floor was uneven with big bumps all over. There was nothing left for breakfast at 0800 and nobody around to ask about it.

"Lenexa Hotel-close to everything"
My son had a blast on his stay. We started our spring break in Lenexa, KS. I was kinda scared to stay there since I had looked over all the other reviews, but I was impressed when we got there. The service desk man was very nice and considerate. Nice hotel especially for the price.

"Hard Beds and Hard Sleep"
This truly must be a hooker hotel. It seemed to me that ALL of the guests staying there were located on the same side, and all of them were quite noisy. Comings and goings all night long to several of the rooms on the lower level, conveniently filled with semi-attractive young girls. I am talking about the kind of visitors who stay for 30 minutes to […] an hour. If you get there after a certain time of night, you can't go to this hotel's lobby and check in, you have to go to the one next door. The desk help was EXTREMELY polite, I will say that. My wife, while walking up to our room, managed to step into a pool of vomit near the staircase. It was still there when we checked out the following morning. The heater BARELY worked and had not been turned on prior to our arrival and so therefore the room was freezing, and completely uninhabitable for an hour. We had to leave and go hang out at a local department store to wait for the room to heat up. The beds literally felt like concrete. The bathroom was horribly dirty. The beds smelled like urine. My two boys, who were going to share one of the beds, had to sleep on the floor because the smell made them sick. There were loose boards in the floor that I managed to trip over. The mini-fridge in the room didn't work. The TV worked, but the remote didn't. I called and asked for a different one, and they brought one up. It also didn't work. The TV would not turn on without the remote, so I walked back down and asked for fresh batteries. I was told they didn't have any, so I had to drive to a convenience store to get some. Paid way too much for batteries for a remote that wasn't even mine. I took them with me when I left because I can use them at home, only to get a phone call from a hotel employee about them when I left. I explained the situation and they were fine with it after that. "Stay at the super 8 across the street"
It's a cheap hotel-- I wasn't expecting anything great. However, it took them a half hour to check me in to the hotel; the employee seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. "Kansas side of KC"
the hotel was what you would expect for the price - we had no problems and they let us check in early after driving all night to get there - works for a quick one night stay in KC area.

This hotel was horrible. It had huge roaches. The hairdryer in my room was frayed and no one ever came to fix it in a week after it was reported. The air conditioning. And the hotel caught on fire. Don't stay here pay the extra money and stay in days inn.

Lots of spanish speaking people. Great place to stay cheap. Comparable to Days Inn next door. I would recommend to anybody that needs a place to stay for cheap.

I was not satisfied with this stay at all. It was only for one night and just for a place to sleep and shower basically but it was not pleasant at all. First, the rooms were smaller than they appeared. And the pictures showed a couch in the room with fridge and microwave but did not have either. The floors were not clean. And I had 2 young children […] with me who like to go without shoes. Second, we were on the 3rd floor next to a room that had some seedy looking characters sitting outside their room. Not pleasant walking to our room past these people especially since I am a woman with 2 young children. Third, the complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired. "Knights Inn in Lenexa, KS -- close to freeways"
The room was clean, but short on towels. You could tell they were doing improvements on this motel. The free breakfast was on the weak side with no decaf coffee or orange juice. For the price that we paid for the room the motel was okay. Most likely we would not stay there again.

I have a big complaint about this Knight Inn. In my room was a frig so I bought some food items, including salad and roasted chicken, and placed them there my first day in. The next day, after I had returned to my room from my meeting I noticed that a leg of the roasted chicken was missing and a bag of chips had been opened. I discarded the remains […] of both the chicken and the chips, went out and bought another roasted chicken and placed everything in knotted plastic bags. The next evening when I returned to my room I discovered that the bag that contained the chicken had been torn opened and a piece of the breast cut off as with a knife. Also the bag that contained the salad had been ripped opened. The next day when I reported both events to the front desk at check out the matron said "oh no that cann't be right! We don't have such behavior at this hotel. I don't believe it!" "Dont judge by the cover"
At first glance this place is looks run down but once you finally get in your room it is quite nice, very well worth the price I paid. The other tenants were very friendly. There were a few times I got confused on locating things and everyone I came across seemed more then happy to help me. The hotel staff were extremely friendly but do get annoying […] in the mornings so I would recommend the "Do Not Disturb" sign or you will have to get up and tell them that you do have enough toilet paper. I would recommend this location to someone on a strict budget. We never ecieved the fridge and microwave. THey gave it too someone else even though we were nextin line. The continential breakfest stunk. I can buy muffins, bread at the store. Too much noise. Mangers closed office at breakfast time. Managers allowed other guest to shootoff firworks even though it was illegal.

I really don't know where to start,. This Hotel should be closed down. It was Filthy, Structurally un-sound and unsafe. Broken locks, plumbing problems (shower went from freezing cold to scortching hot), cockroaches, sheets had not been washed, pillow cases were soiled and there were dirty underwear from the last guest in the floor, the a/c unit was […] incredibley loud. "Knights Inn Lenexa Kansas"
My stay at Knights Inn in Lenexa Kansas was great. They have refrigs, microwaves, outdoor pool, and other amminities. There is a McDonalds within 2 blockes and Several Malls. The street access from the Interstate I-35 is great. I was able to go right to the hotel. Hope your say is as good as mine was!

Since my wife and I came to Overland Park to see the work on our unsold home, we only needed a place to sleep for 2 nights. The room was spartan in nature, but comfortable.
