Candlewood Suites League City - League City

I stayed overnight before heading to my destination and the location was ideal. It was very near to shopping centers with big box stores, chain eateries and gas stations. The location flanks the freeway and is visible in either direction so it's easy to find. Parking is ample and free. I used a treadmill in the small workout room which had a nice flat […] screen TV and I also used the washers and dryers located in a room adjacent to workout room. My room was very nice and tidy. The full size refrigerator, two burner stove and sink were very useful as I picked some items up from the store to cook dinner. Pots, plates, glasses and utensils were neatly stacked in the cupboards. Overall, I was able to rest well before hitting the road and I will definitely use this hotel again if the need arises. loved it my bf and i were playing in a charity softball tournament at big league dreams and the.location of the hotel was perfect...only problem was no ice machine and the pool was closed other than that we had a great stay.

I loved everything about this hotel...comfy and cozy! My kids, husband and I really enjoyed it! I even sat in the tub, it was so clean! Everything we needed was right there. Even have a wal-mart near. Air was very cold.

Wonderful experience. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, room has full sized fridge, stove and microwave, as well as dish washer. Great value and convenience for a family. The Candlewood Inn in league city was the best stay I have ever experienced. Love the suites. Full kitchen, free laundry facility, free dvd rental, the staff was helpful and very understanding. The location was great for our needs. The rooms were well insulated so no outside noise filtered in. Beds were comfortable. Posted on Hotels.com as Pet Friendly, however, there is a $50.00 per animal non refundable fee added to your room rate.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and new.

Loved the convenient location and how clean it was. Bed was comfortable and staff very helpful. The only thing I did find odd is that we didn't get clean towels.

I want to commend the Candlewood and their staff for a most confortable stay. I found the hotel of superior quality and the staff, one of the friendliest I have found in many years!!!!

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel, I was a little concerned. But, upon arrival, I was very pleased with all aspects of the hotel from the staff to the room and finally the location. There are numerous places to eat in the surrounding area.

My stay at Candlewood Comfort Suites was an excellent experience. The price for what I recieved was better than any other Hotel. The location was a bit out of the way, but tolerable. I would recommend this Hotel to My Friends. I look forward to doing business with Candlewood Comfort Suites again in The Future.

I was a little uneasey booking since all the reviews were a little less than extraordinary. This hotel meet all my expectations. We stayed here opposed to staying on the seawall to save some money and I know that is was money well saved. We were able to bring our own breakfast and luch to cook ourselfs and eat out at night and it was only a 20 min drive […] to the beach. we had a very nice stay, it was convenient to the I45 and places to shop and eat. very clean and nice. would stay there again.

Hotel was great. Very clean and nice. Easy access to Galveston Island.

The overall room was awesome,however, I was charged over twice what the actual room cost. When I tried to get them to explain it the only answer I would get is "Let's hope the extra charges fall off" That's an unacveptable answer.... I WILL NOT use this hotel chain again nor recommend them to anyone.

This is the first time we ever stayed at Candlewood Suites, and because if the value, I was skeptical! My worries were put to ease the moment we checked in, friendly & helpful staff, great amenities (full size fridge!), great location. And the beds were comfy! I am a mother of 3 & I would recommend this hotel to families, for sure!

This was a nice hotel but upon arrival hotel workers at the front desk were rude. And we thought that was ugly of them. One night the hotel was very nosey with drunk people up and down the hall and we called front desk at 1am and they did nothing about it. Not sure I would stay here again. They hold alot of baseball players that travel so the hotel […] was very full we could t enjoy the pool because they had trash all over the place in the pool area we found that nasty for such a good hotel. Had business in Galveston but stayed here to save more than half off the Galveston hotel rates. Very pleased with the hotel (kitchen is a big plus), it's location (right off I-45) and the surrounding merchants. Perfectly situated! Nice, helpful people.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen equipped with all the necessary items. I had never stayed at an "extended stay" hotel so I was surprised when I learned that there was not daily maid service, but overall I was impressed with my stay.

Hotel was very clean . Friendly service enjoyed my stay. Rooms lived up to how they looked on line.

My hubby and kids stayed here over the 4th of july weekend. The staff was pretty helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and all the pots, pans and utensils are there in the cabinets. Walmart and a dollar store are right around the corner, so that was pretty convenient.

We just stay one night at Candywood on July 4 event. Everything at the hotel were fine , but we lost slept at that night because we heard every footstep of the guest who was occupied above our room....

Everything was great!!!! The only problem was the toxic smell from the one bedroom suite we stayed. I am not sure if it was some sort of cleaning product or not, but it bothered us a lot. Again all other things were great.

Hotel was pretty new. The room I stayed in was small but had alot of amenities. The Bathroom door did not open all the way because they had a door stop on the hindge that stopped it so you couldn't stand at the sink with the door open. BE AWARE, this hotel accepts dogs. There was a small dog in the guest room accross the hall from me and barked early […] in the morning and kept it up for hours. This is a very nice hotel. VERY CLEAN, and definetly worth the price as compared to hotels on galveston island for weekend rates. The only bad thing is, if you run out of coffee, shampoo, etc. you have to pay for it to get more. But, there is a walmart right next to it, so I would advise going there to get things you need. We came from out of state for a surgical procedure for our 12 yr old at UTMB. It worked well for us to have a refrigerator rather than constantly getting ice for our cooler. I was told there were no suites on the main floor with 2 double beds. This was disappointing as we wanted to avoid the elevator. But the elevator was a good size & we were on the […] 2nd floor.
