Pluses - proprietess was very helpful and friendly. Close to Airlie township. Nice swimming pool. BBQ area. Cheap laundry facilities on site. Room was simply but adequately furnished. Minuses - internet was relatively expensive and I had to cling to the balcony to get wifi (reception was not very good in the room). No kitchen cooker / stove :( Room […] servicing is only once a week and that's one week from checkin... Some basic items scantily supplied and not replaced at servicing ie rubbish bags. The Boathaven Spa Resort was a great place to stay for our pseudo-honeymoon. The room was very clean, the view was great, the facilities on-site and in the room were great. The only thing that let down our stay was that the fridge wasn't working properly. We asked for it to be fixed, but the repair wasn't carried out before we left.

All in all was a good experience. Just off the bustling main strip which is good as you don't get the noise of the crowds. It was not too bad, but it could be a more cleaner, full of dust and spider webs inside.Most important linen were fresh and clean. Staff was OK, did not see them during whole stay. But I would not recomend to any of my friends and I think I can do better next time with same or similar amount of money.

Overall this was a so-so experience when I expected a SO-good one. I didn't understand that this was an "apartment"-type of place, so having to take out my own garbage or be subjected to a bug infestation, was a disappointment. I had white ants on the counter in the kitchen, despite the fact that I hadn't prepared anything on the counter... And there […] were black ants on my bed?! Given how long the days are when doing full-day excursions, it made their reception hours difficult to deal with - I was out before they were in and back after or at the time they were leaving. Their wifi does not really work on iPads, so don't bother paying for the time, but Capers at the Airlie Beach Hotel has free wifi if you are dining there (I highly recommend that place). Lisätietoja

We stayed for 7 nights at the Boathaven. It is a 5 minute walk from town, very convenient, with both a good sized salt-water pool and a spa which we enjoyed on numerous occasions. The room was about the rightsize and clean when we arrived, with the staff warmly welcoming us also. We had a spa on our balcony. Unfortunately, one of the jets on it was […] broken, but this didn't affect it much. The only complaint I had was the cost of wifi for the internet. This seems to still be the norm in Australia. Whereas many hotels in the world these days offer free internet access with the room- Australian hotels charge a small fortune for this basic ammenity. The place has a great view of one of the most beautiful places on the planet. All the amenities are first class and the staff are really friendly and helpful with anything you may need I would definitely go back and definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Airlie Beach.

Well, hotel is good for people who wants to just have a place to leave their baggage and return at night to sleep...Spa needs maintenance and its about 15 min of walk from the main market....

We booked this room because it slept three people but it really was not big enough. The bed settee was very uncomfortable for my son with springs poking through the thin mattress. The beds were not made up during our second day and I did not like the framed threat of a £50-£100 fine for not removing our own rubbish.

The hotel is very comfortable and having the kitchenette was great (note microwave only, no hob). The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's a little bit of a walk (10 mins) from the centre of the town, fine in the dry, slightly annoying when it's raining, but there's a bus if you are feeling lazy.

A gorgeous resort, a short walk from the main street which has heaps of shops, restaurants and of course the beach. Reception staff were amazing organising everything for us and giving great advice on where to shop, eat andcwhat to do! If you want to stay just out of the main noise of Airlie centre but be close enough to walk, this location is ideal. Airlie Port is being built up with apartments and a new terminal so some of the harbour view may be obscured as it was from our room but we were only on the first floor and if we looked across to one side we still had a pretty enough […] view. The resort was tidy and well maintained. It was also quiet and if you needed help for booking any tours the staff seemed keen to help without being pushy. The room we stayed in was spacious and it was handy having a fridge and little kitchen area. The shower room could do with a fan though as the condensation took a while to clear! This is a fantastic place to stay if you're interested in a quiet, relaxed pace of life. Trinity beach is a 20 or 30 minute drive from downtown Cairns and is a great launching point to do activities in the Cairns-Port Douglas area. The hotel is barely 100 feet from a fantastic beach and all the rooms have a balcony facing the ocean with a double sliding […] door to let the sounds of surf into the flat. The rooms are VERY nice, with beds that aren't too soft or too firm and have all the amenities you'd need to cook, clean, do laundry, relax and sleep. The apartments are pretty self contained with a dedicated hot water heater, washer and dryer, sink and two burner range with a wide assortment of dishes, cookware and utensils; you will want for nothing if you cook for yourself. My only real complaint was the water pressure was a bit low out of the shower and the cold water shower controls were hard to get just right. The help desk downstairs was VERY helpful, conscientious and made the stay a real pleasure. I would 100% stay at this hotel again. Lisätietoja

Die Lage ist in Ordnung. Man kann in die Stadt oder an die künstliche Lagune in ca. 10 Minuten laufen.Leider gab es bei unserer Anreise Probleme bei der Zimmervergabe. Wir hatten im März 2012 ein Zimmer gebucht für Februar 2013. Da wir uns was gönnen wollten, buchten wir ein Zimmer mit Whirpool. Diese Buchung hatte man jedoch verschlampt und wir bekamen […] zunächst ein normales Doppelzimmer.Nach Reklamation bekamen wir eines mit Whirpool. Die Begründung lag darin, daß die Buchung so lange her wäre und man die Buchung nicht mehr finden könnte. Zum Glück hatten wir eine Kopie der Buchungsbestätigung dabei.Das Zimmer entsprach dann genau unseren Vorstellungen. Es war groß und sauber.Es handelt sich um ein Selbstversorgerhotel. Sprich, Betten machen, Müll raus bringen ect.. muß man selbst machen. Auch muß man sich Kaffe, Tee ect.. selbst besorgen, wenn man dort länger bleibt. Die Küche ist lediglich mit einem "Starterpaket" versehen (4x Kaffe und 4xTee). Das Hotel kann man jedoch bedenklos weiterempfehlen. Lisätietoja

Detta hotell ligger i utkanten av Airlie Beach och har inte sett någon renovering under det senaste decenniet. Rummet var bara ytligt städat och dammtussar hängde från fläktar och dörrkarmar. Bra barbecuegrill dock.Välj ett annat hotell.

Als wir ankamen, hatten wir kein Bett für unsere 16jährige Tochter, sie sollte auf einer Couch schlafen, die aber viel zu kurz war, es war auch kein Bettzeug da. Als wir reklamierten, bekamen wir dann eine "SPA Suite", wo wir eine Couch ausziehen konnten. Wir mussten wieder Bettwäsche urgieren und das Bett selber machen. Die Einrictung der SPA "Suite" […] war abgewohnt und sehr geschmacklos. Es war auch keine Suite, sondern nur ein Zimmer mit einer Couch, auf der man jeder Feder einzeln spürte, also nicht darauf schlafen konnte. An der Reception gab es nicht einmal eine Karte der Umgebung!! 2,5 *, mehr nicht!!! Heißer Tipp: Gegenüber hat eine tolle Appartementanlage mit einem eigenen Jacht Hafen eröffnet, heißt Boathouse! Das Hotel war in Ordnung fuer zwei Naechte, wenn man den ganzen tag unterwegs ist. Leider wurden die Handtuecher nicht getauscht und nach Airlie Beach muss man ein stueck die strasse entlang gehen. Preis -Leistung ist aber mehr wie ok.

Ho soggiornato nella camera normale, non la suite, ma era comunque ampia, pulita e confortevole. Situato a pochi minuti dal centro di Airlie Beach e dalla spiaggia. Un po' più lontano dal porto, ma tutte le compagnie che organizzano gite forniscono il servizio di navetta. Big, clean and fresh rooms with pentry and refridgerator. Fresh bathroom with shower. We got an uncleaned room first, but got it switched to a cleaned one.
