Located conviniently near I-95 for an overnight stay on a road-trip. Bar and snacs were on semi self-service basis, but you get the lack of service back in low prices for everything. For some reason two different navigators took us to a gas station about half a mile away with the address given. The hotel was still very easy to find on the same road.

"Be aware: this is right next to the highway!"
Unfortunately we checked in late and ended up in a room overlooking I-95. And the air conditioning is loud when it switches on and off all night long. So it was not the quietest night. But the room was clean and spacious, and it was easy to find, and the people we met who worked there were nice.

This was a great hotel to stay at. It was conveniently located off a Interstate 95 so it was easy on/off. The hotel was clean, staff was very personable. "Good price, but not much else"
Staff was rude form the moment I arrived to check in and was there at 2 pm. I wa abruptly told that check in was not until 3pm. The omwna at the desk did process my check in without saying another word to me other than, "I need your credit card." My keys were not programmed for my entire stay. The first day I returned to the desk, the man at the desk […] was on the phone and waved me to him re-programmed the keys and handed them back without saying a word to me while he continued his phone convrestaion. The 2nd day I returned to the front desk, I had to request that the keys be programmed for my entire stay and not just another night. The hotel is very loud. The back side of the hotel runs along 95 South. The front side is across the street from the DuPont plant. Trucks are racing by both sides at all hours. Eating options are sparce as well. "wonderful stay"
My family and I stayed on a recent visit to Richmond and we were very impressed with the service. It was clean the staff was friendly and it was great to see the general manager shaking hands at breakfast which was awesome. We will definately be back and will recommend. "Location"
Right off I 95. Hotel was just what we needed after a long drive from fla. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to fla.
I was very pleased with the complimentary breakfast. The selection included hot and cold items. The Wi-fi was easy to acess.

Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly, pool a little on the small side but only there for 1 night. Very pleased and breakfast was nice also.

The hotel was better then the others in the naborhood,but problems checking in and the shower door not working and 2 lamps not working made us feel like maybe we got a poorly maintained room,' All this was after our room key did not work twice,we were givven a new room becouse he told us the electronic lock was broken on room 212 breakfast was just […] ok.no orange juice or milk left...eggs were cold and meat was in the bin too long,(got hard)and cold I have stayed at many other hamptons( I travel for a living) and this one needs inprovement. "Great value for the money"
A group of 7 of us stayed at this hotel for a conference. The staff was great, the rooms very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The only issue we had was a backed up toilet and had to change rooms. Otherwise, a perfect stay.
Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Overall it was a positive experience.

Got in late, stayed one night. Friendly service; I asked for a roll away bed, it was waiting in the room when I returned from dinner. Great free breakfast for my wife and I and three kids ages 10-13. Right off the interstate. Subway restaurant next door and pub across the street.

"Great service"
I often stay at Hampton Inns for their great staff and amenities and this one was just as good as the others. The staff is very courious and helpful and the accomidations are very cleab and comfortable. The only downside is the location which is far from downtown and the airport and with no shuttle service taxi's can get quite expensive.

We were planning a trip to see Cheerleading competition in Richmond Convention center. I went to hotels.com to search for a hotel. The ratings were decent and so were the prices. As soon as I told him my name, he handed me my key. It was ready, quick and easy. The room was nice and comfortable. I have a horrible time sleeping especially with a party of 4. I was happy to learn that they provide ear plugs and the alarm clock was equipped with nature sounds. So I slept better than I normally do at home. They offer complimentary breakfast also. It had plenty to choose from. The other great thing was that the Richmond Convention center was minutes away, and it was a smooth ride there. We really enjoyed our stay! "Cozy & Quiet"
This hotel sits just off 95 with Subway Sandwiches next door, 24 hour McDonalds/gas station on corner & sports bar across the street. Area is very quiet even though it is next to the headquarters of Phillip Morris. Downtown is only about 15 minutes away. Staff are helpful & friendly; rooms are really clean.

"Not bad for the money"
The staff was great. They allowed my wife and me to check. in 10am. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The shower door was falling off.

I was told check out was at 11, around 8:30 house keeping was knocking, then she came back 3 more times before I checked out at 10. It's like they try to rush u out. NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN.

We stopped in Richmond on our way home from DC. The hotel was at capacity because of Hurricane Irene. We did have a reservation (thank goodness)...the check in was quick and our room met our expectations. "Richmond's Best Hotel"
As a disabled veteran, I often have to travel to Richmond for appointments at McQuire Veterans' Hospital. This is the first time I have found an affordable, clean, pleasant, and well-staffed place to spend the night that is less than 8 minutes from the hospital.

Firstly the hotel was very very clean. The hotel is also very secure (need a key to get in entrances other than the front door). The staff were nice and overall I had a very enjoyable stay. Surely will be back!!

I paid just fifty five dollars per night for this hotel and it was absolutely wonderful! It was more than convenient to I95 and the staff was friendly and courteous. the rooms were well-stocked and modern. The beds had the most wonderful down comforters on them. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel was poorly managed. The breakfast was a disaster. They didn't have enough help and the help they did have (one woman) had only one speed ....very slow. Many of the guest were left with cold cereal instead of a hot breakfast. I was super pleased by this hotel. The greeting and check-in was great. the room was so clean, pretty and plush. The bed had these huge fluffy white blankets with white duvet cover. "Great for the money"
I have always loved the Hampton Inn when I travel for business. It was close to the hospital, not the greatest neighborhood but didn't feel unsafe at anytime. Staff was courteous, room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is right off the highway so convenient to get in & out. We were in Richmond for a soccer tournament. Free breakfast & nice clean rooms. small pool & workout room. Office centre & free wi fi. This hotel met all our requirements for our family of 4 overnight stay.

Worth the money. Very clean. Staff was nice. The only problem was the parking. Shouldnt have trucks blocking up spaces.
