Hotelli oli meille positiivinen yllätys.Kolmen tähden hotellilta ei voi kuitenkaan ihan luksusta odottaaAikaisempia arvosteluja lukiessani sain hotellista paljon negatiivisemman kuvan.Meidän perheelle oli varattu kaksi superior-huonetta.Huoneiden koko oli ihan riittävä ja vuoteet menettelivät;koko riittävä sekä vuoteet leveät ja ihan mukavat nukkua.Huoneiden lattioiden siisteydessä olisi tosin ollut parantamisen varaa.Hotelli sijaitsee mahtavalla paikalla ostoskadulla lähellä kaikkea.Metron lähiasemilta pääset kaikille linjoille mm.vaivattomasti lentokentälle.Hinta-laatusuhde oli ihan paikallaa!

Hotelli hintaansa nähden todella hyvä, huoneet siistit ja isompi huone todella tilava (erillinen olohuone ja keittiö makuuhuoneen lisäksi).Liikenteen melu kuului hieman huoneeseen. Hotellia on vaikea huomata kadulle päin pimeän aikaan, mutta osoite piti tarkasti paikkansa ja kadun numeron perusteella löytää perille. Lähellä Nanpu Bridge Metroasemaa (alle 10 min kävely). Sängyt kiinalaisittain tyypillisen kovahkot. Jos haluaa teettään tai ostaa vaatteita, niin hotellin viereinen talo on kuuluisa Shanghain räätälimarkkinatalo.

Hotelli on hyvä muutaman päivän visiitille, jos ei tarvitse parasta luksusta. Hotelli on hyvässä kunnossa ja siinä on historian havinaa. Ainoa huonoa asia oli, että Hotels.com sivujen kartan mukaan hotelli olisi aivan kävelykadulla, mutta ei se ole. Kävelykadulle on matkaa pari korttelia, noin 5 minuuttia.

Erilliset sängyt olivat ruhtinaallisen leveitä. Patja tuntui aluksi kovahkolta, mutta siihen tottui. Peitot ja tyynyt mukavia. Yöpöydän lukuvalolla oli inhottava neonsävy. Hassua oli, että huoneiston varustelussa mainittiin minibar, mutta huoneistosta ei löytynyt kuin sen hinnasto. Kyse oli siis varmaan huonepalvelusta eikä minibarista. Ei kokeiltu. Tallelokero oli hyvä juttu. Jokin pukeutumispeili olisi voinut olla. Ainoa peili sijaitsi kylpyhuoneessa. Kätevää oli, että respassa voi vaihtaa valuuttaa. Ei tarvinnut mennä pankkiin jonottamaan. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Munakkaat ihania! Jos halusi "yömyssyn", sellainen oli saatavilla Aska -baarista. Joskin baarimestarit tarvitsivat reseptin tehdessään "Shanghai" -coctailin :-) Hyvin palvelualttiita ja ystävällisiä olivat. Lähtiessämme aamuvarhaisella lentokentälle saimme edellisenä iltana respan avustuksella varatuksi minibussin, johon mahtui koko nelihenkinen seurueemme isoine matkalaukkuineen. Kuljetuksen hinta oli kohtuullinen. Kaiken kaikkiaan vierailukokemus oli miellyttävä. Kaikki sujui hyvin. Tulen mielelläni uudelleen.

A central and highly populated district, Jing’an is home to a large number of expatriates and several luxurious residential complexes. The striking Buddhist Jing’an Temple is definitely worth a visit. Considered one of Shanghai’s most famous sights, the temple features the largest jade sitting Buddha statue in China and a 3.5-ton Ming Dynasty copper bell.

Even for the least expensive rooms this place is a wonderful value. The location of the hotel is a long walk from either of the two closest subway stations especially if one is puling luggage. Take a taxi.

If you have had enough of typical boiler plate five star hotels and want something more interesting or representative of the city you are in, then this is an excellent boutique hotel in 1930s Shanghai style. "Good location, beautiful Art Deco styling"
On Nanyang Rd just off of Nanjing Rd West about 10 minutes walk from Jing'An Temple and near shopping malls and major hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton and J.W. Marriott, the central location is hard to beat. Nanyang Rd itself has a few noisy bars (some of dubious character), however once you step through the gate of the property itself, a whole different […] world. The Pei Mansion Hotel takes you straight back to 1930s Shanghai, and could be used as a movie set. The rooftop bar/restaurant was apparently under renovation, so I didn't get a chance to see it. The Duplex Suite I stayed in comprised two floors - a luxurious bathroom and work desk below, linked by stairs to the bedroom and additional powder room above. Neither upstairs nor the downstairs areas were large, but the setting was unique. Furnishings, lamps, etc. were period pieces. My schedule was such that I left the hotel late in the morning and didn't return until after midnight, so I didn't encounter many staff nor utilise any hotel services. "Not really a Mansion"
Interesting antique furnitures and tried to please but this hotel is for unique guest profile, just not me. No place to eat inside the hotel for breakfast or lunch. Ordered room service for breakfast and bell boy arrived shortly in jeans with just got up look, it was almost 8am. Food arrived on very dirty cafeteria tray; needlessly to say, I did not […] even touch the tray. I was so ready to depart the hotel that I got to airport 3 hours earlier to avoid this hotel. "雰囲気最高！"
静安寺にある異国情緒たっぷりのクラッシックホテルです。旧大使館？を改装した趣きのあるつくりで、部屋も含めビンテージな調度品が随所に見られます。最近の外資ホテルと比較すればスタッフの教育レベルは低いですが、許せる範囲です。夜になると、上海のＶＩＰが集まり晩餐会が催されるなど、知る人ぞ知るレストランがあります。但し、仕方ないですが防音に難ありです。

"居心地は上海の我が家"
上海の喧噪を忘れさせる落ち着いた、ほっとできるホテルでした。 地下鉄まで距離があるのでタクシーを利用しました。 帰りは、早朝のフライトのため、空港までの送迎を依頼。当日、チェックアウトするときに、サンドイッチとジュース、果物の朝食ボックスを用意していただきました！ 日本でも受けたことのないサービスに感動。 部屋だけでなく、ラウンジまでもが我が家のようにゆったり過ごせました。 次もぜひとまりたいです。

I was very pleased about the hotel. The location is very easy to find and not too noisy, the room is good but I really want to not stay at the room next the stairs next time. The staff is kind. But the lobby is a little bit noisy, maybe it's the restaurant. For all I was pleased, I'm looking forward to staying next time,
