The room was fantastic, with a personal balcony overlooking the bay and the beach. The hotel is up on a hill and so to get back, you need to walk up quite a steep hill for 5 minutes, but it is not much of a hardship. A lovely hotel with great staff- the hotel pool, bar, and sun terraces were great places to enjoy the sunshine and the nearby beach was clean and we had a wonderful view of it from our room balcony. We went all inclusive and this was well worth it as the food was good and varied each day. We'd love to return another year!

The location of the hotel is great. The hotel rooms are good and spacious. A few slight issues with maintenance as we has to make 3 separate requests over two days to fix a hair dryer and the bath had somebody's hair in it when we checked in. First time I stayed somewhere I had to pay for the use of the safe in the room. Some decent entertainment but […] some adult themes with no prior warning on one of the nights was totally inappropriate in light of the young families. A great hotel with fantastic infinity pool overlloking the bay and quieter additional outdoor pool and indoor spa pool if that gets too busy. We were more than happy eating in the buffet restaurant with good choice of food, and nightly choice of fish and meats cooked to order. Not the quietest hotel we've stayed in as there is some noise from the road […] running between the hotel and beach and marble floors mean you do hear when chairs etc are moved in the room above. An Excellent Hotel with a fantastic Infinity Pool. Free WiFi in lobby. Free internet in room but you'll need a ethernet cable. Hotel sells one for 7 euros. This hotel is fabulous. We were greeted with champagne when we arrived and our room was upgraded to a junior suite which was a lovely surprise! The service at reception and the restaurant is great- everyone is very polite and helpful. The food is amazing. The views from the hotel are superb, the pool area is wonderful and so is the spa. Staying at this hotel made our holiday amazing. It should be a 5* hotel, I have no idea why its a 4. customer service was flawless, they were always so willing to help. I cant recomend it enough. just go there, you wont regret it.

My family and I just stayed from 06 April to 11 April. First, the staff is wonderful they are very accomodating to all our needs. The view is spectacular from the room. We stayed in Block 1 and if we went back would love to stay in block 4 as the elevator to the beach is on this block, but it still was not a far walk to the rest of the hotel. We had […] the all inclusive and debated a little bit on it but the for the drinks and the buffet you can't beat it. The food has lots of variety...if you can't find anything to eat then you are just plain picky! The only thing I would complain about is they pushed two twin beds together instead of having one big bed for me and my Husband. You are in walking distance of Puerto Rico (Shopping and food) and another beach. You are also within walking distance to Amadores beach. We only spent two days on the beach wish we would have spent more time but my son wanted to play in the pool more. I did partake in the spa service by having a massage. Myself and my partner loved our stay at the hotel, we loved the food and handyness of everything. The beach was just down the road and it was a lovely clean walk to it. We walked into town 1 day and found it a good walk, but we got taxi in at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in gloria palace - staff were very friendly and the hotel was very luxurious. Room was beautiful and sea view was amazing. We had breakfast included which was fantastic - they even have sparkling wine there (which i availed of evey morning!). A couple of minus points - we were interested in looking at wedding facilitied […] in the hotel, but the management were not too pushed on showing us around or making us feel any extra welcome or special than the rest of the guests. Cocktails - you can get them for free on the all inclusive offer but we bought them as we were not on that package, and cocktails were poured out of a premade jug and didnt taste nice as they weren't freshly made up. PRO: I've travelled quite a lot in the last years and I've never found a cleanest hotel than this one. Beds are very comfoortable, staff was helpful, lot of services, the beach is barely 5 min walk. CON: We had to change room due to a strong noise coming from the street (not fault of the hotel), SPA and sauna area are "clothed" and pretty small.

Jag vill starkt rekommendera detta hotel! Vi bodde bara här 4 nätter, men allt fungerade så perfekt. Vår familj består av 2 vuxna och 3 barn i åldrarna (8,12,15) och alla med olika krav och intressen, men detta uppfylldes på alla sätt och vis. Vattengympa för mamma, luftgevär skytte bör pojkarna, bingo i poolen för barnen, mycket god mat, även om vi […] på kvällarna åt nere på stranden. Fantastisk frukostbuffé, med tanke på att jag tillbringar ca 60 nätter på hotell på år, är jag väldigt kräsen! Bra och nära bussförbindelser. Personalen i receptionen fixade allt. Flott hotell med fantastisk beliggenhet rett ved Amadores stranden. Frokosten var god, mens lunsjalternativene ikke var noe serlig spennende. Anbefaler også å prøve restursnten (Kaia) på hotellet der har de veldig god mat.

Stort og generelt sett bra hotell - ikke så veldig mye å sette fingeren på totalt sett. Bra service, bra beliggenhet om man er ute etter strandlivet. Er ikke så mye annet enn stranda og hoteller i området, men bare 25 min å gå til Puerto Rico. Rommene er ok - renholdet tilfredsstillende uten å være glimrende. Det gode: Dette resort har en af de bedste beliggenheder i gåafstand til stranden Playa Amadores. Selve hotellet er på et stort areal og vil anbefale at I bo ved Blok 4, da det er herfra at elevatoren går ned tættest på Det dårlige: hotellet lever af og har mest charterturister. Ved ankomst forlanger de den fulde betaling for hele opholdet med det […] samme. Der er ingen service i form af folk der holder døren eller hjælper med bagage ved ankomst. Der er betaling for småting, safe og et dumt system med håndklæder, hvor man betaler et depositum og skal forbi receptionen for at få nye. Ikke luksus. Værelset har flot udsigt og en god terrasse men sengene er af meget dårlig kvalitet og er ikke dobbeltsenge og værelsets vægge er tynde, så man kan høre folk i værelset ved siden af og på gangen. Endelig er der den konstante underholdning ved poolen, hvor personalet underholder med danseshow med Shrek, Bingo og Aqua Gym til høj musik. Måske fint sted til familieophold med små børn - men ikke til et romantisk ophold. Anbefales at leje bil - det er både nemt og billigt og man er i Puerto Rico på 5 min. Så alt i alt - en af de bedste beliggenheder ved Amadores - som er den bedste strand på Gran Canaria - forvent blot ikke den vilde luksus. Lisätietoja

A really good hotel with excellent service. Staff is really friendly and service minded. The all-inclusive food could be better, even if not bad at all. Almost everything is seriously overcooked - meaning vegetables are bland and meat is dry. You will appreciate the cooked-to-order bar where you select among meat, poultry and fish to be cooked to your […] liking. Alcohol is included, but the best part of the AI is probably the 50% discount of all drinks not included - this will get you great drinks (AI drinks are ok but not great) for just a few euros. The heated pool area is busy with staff gathering guests for all kinds of activities. It is rather annoying. The hotel also tries to make a few extra bucks by allowing "fashion" shows and other sale of merchandise to disrupt the peace. This is clearly not appropriate for a hotel of this caliber, and the sooner they throw these activities out the better. All in all good value for money. You will definitely want to pay the extra bucks for the AI as the food in the neighbourhood is simply awful. Sure there are restaurants at the Amadores beach, but if you're not into eating low quality food with half naked tourists this will be nothing for you. Lisätietoja

Fantastisk opplevelse ved dette hotellet ! Var en uke. Personalet ved hotellet var veldig nøye med at gjestene var fornøyde, og de var svært hyggelige. Maten var super, flott kjøkken ! Spiste all type mat uten å bli syk. Alt var meget godt, svært godt utvalg. Fantastisk beliggenhet, og fantastisk utsikt. Rommene var store, rene og flott balkong / terasse […] med havutsikt. Sol fra formiddag til ettermiddag, men på terassen på rommet slapp man unna solsteken ved at de var såpass dyp, at man alltid kunne sitte i litt skygge og nyte fantastisk utsikt og temperatur. Hovedbassenget på hotellet var fantastisk, alltid ledig solseng, og flott atmosphære. Fantastisk flott boblebad ved hotellet, stort og fint, gratis. Mange typer aktiviteter ved hotellet, og personalet var flink å foreslå ulike aktiviteter ved hovedbassenget. Lett å finne ro og avslappet stemning ved hotellet, og tydelig at personalet var nøye med at gjestene hadde det bra. Høy standard på hotellet. Middagsbuffe var slik at man krevde at menn hadde bukser på, lett dresskode. Underholdning ved hotellet hver kveld etter middag. Ikke støy natterstid. Anbefaler middagsbuffe, og frokost ved hotellet. Vi er et voksent par som tok oss en ukes vinteravbrekk i desember. Havnet tilfeldig på dette hotellet og var kjempefornøyd med det aller meste (eneste minus var litt harde senger;-). Flotte rom med balkong og havutsikt, trivelig personale og rent og hyggelig. Og så SPA og deilig basseng og kort avstand til strand og greie avstander til turløyper! Oppholdet på Gloria Palace Royal Hotel & Spa var meget bra. Det er store og fine rom med stort bad, og romslig balkong med havutsikt hvor man kan nyte solnedgangen. Personalet er veldig service innstilte, høflige og gir god hjelp. Bassenget er stort og man har god utsikt over Amadores stranden og havet fra bassengområdet. Hotellet har en meget bra frokost […] med veldig godt utvalg. Bra treningsrom og bra med utstyr, gratis trådløst internett. Rent og fint på rom og ved bassengene. Gratis inngang til spaavd som inneholder badstu, boblebad, innendørs basseng. 5min til Puerto Rico med taxi. Det eneste jeg har å utsette på hotellet er servicen i lunsjbaren som serverte en suppe med kjøtt i da det ble bestilte en vegetarisk suppe, sånt trekker ned. Man får ikke like lyst å spise på hotellet da. Men ellers et veldig bra hotell ! :) Lisätietoja

Har vært veldig bra ikke mye negativt å si utenom at renholdet kunne ha vært bedre virket ikke som at de vasket gulvene så ofte på rommene,jeg bodde her i tre uker hadde bursdag mens jeg var her nede fikk champagne og kake på rommet ifra direktøren på hotellet uten at jeg hadde sagt noe som helst om at jeg hadde fødselsdag så all honnør til dem for […] det, kan absolutt anbefales videre har ellers vært et hotel i toppsjiktet. Gloria Palace Royal i Amadores er et flott hotell med nydelig mat, store, fine rom og fantastisk utsikt over Amadoresbukta. Alle rom har havsutsikt! Godt renhold og hyggelig personale. Jeg har bodd der før og kommer tilbake igjen helt sikkert!

Rent hotell, bra pooler och suverän service. Maten är bra oxå, dock är jag inte så förtjust i buffe mat. Gott om rätter att välja från och vid disken står det kockar som steker kött/fisk åt dig. Fisken är färsk och smakade väldigt bra. "Snack" baren var inte världens bästa (hamburger tallrik). Ca 5-7 min gång avstånd till stranden, det ser rätt nära […] ut på bilderna men hotellet ligger på en klippa rätt högt upp och vägarna är rätt så branta men inga problem att gå. ca 15min till Puerto Rico men stranden där var inte så bra om man jämför med Amadores. Fantastisk hotel!! Intet mindre. Vi boede på hotellet 2 dage sidst i juni måned. Vi havde et standard værelse med all incl. Værelset var stort, pænt og rent og komfortabelt og med en fantastisk udsigt over strand og vand. Det eneste lille minus var at man ikke kunne få et værelse med dobbeltseng, men i stedet to enkelt senge. Maden på hotellet var langt […] bedre end jeg havde forventet af tidligere oplevelser med all incl. og vin drinks mv var ligeledes af høj standard. Hotellets personale var venlige og man følte hele tiden at de gjorde lige det der ekstra for at man havde det godt (alt kunne lade sig gøre og de var meget behjælpelige). Jeg og forloveden min dro på en siste ferie før vi blir tre, og storkoste oss på dette hotellet. Perfekt for en litt rolig ferie. Beliggenheten var perfekt, med Amadores -strand rett nedenfor hotellet. (du tar heisen ned og går i under 5 min). Du kan gå til Puerto Rico på 15-20 min på en koselig gangvei langs havet. Der er et mange flotte resturanter, […] båtturer og et relativt stort kjøpesenter. Det er resturanter på stranden i nærheten av hotellet. Buffet-middagen på hotellet er ikke til å anbefale. den var overpriset og ikke spesiellt interessant, men frokosten var helt super. Jeg savnet ingenting! Personeel is goed en prettig en ze geven iedereen het gevoel dat je speciaal bent. Wel viel ons op dat het vaste personeel in het restaurant honds gedrag heeft tegen de stagiars en dat vonden we minder. Er was een enquete en wij hadden iets ingevult wat minder was. Daar is de volgende dag direkt iets mee gedaan. Enquete wordt dus echt gelezen door iedereen. […] Er is genoeg te doen in hotel zo wel voor volwassene en kinderen. Als je van plan bent om elke dag in hotel te blijven en niet dagjes weg te gaan raden wij AI aan, want dat scheelt geld. Doe je dat niet (zoals wij) dan is het zonde van je geld. Uitzicht vanaf je balkon in je kamer is prachtig en balkon bied veel privancy. Kan iedereen dus dit hotel aanraden!!!!!! Super. Geweldig fijne en grote kamers, goed ingericht. Bijna complete keuken in de kamer. Miste alleen de waterkoker en het afwasmiddel. Maar dat eerste was niet zo ernstig want er is wel een magnetron aanwezig. En afwassen met alleen heet water kan ook wel een keer :) Heerlijk bed. Hebben vaak op het balkon met zeezicht gezeten. Bij het ontbijtbuffet is echt […] van alles. Gewone cornflakes en brood maar ook pannekoeken en allerlei soorten fruit en vers sap, eieren op alle manieren, heeel veel vleeswaren en verschillende soorten kaas. Hulpvaardig en vriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de Spa en het zwembad. Zijn steeds naar het strand gegaan. Lekker dat je dan een stuk met de lift naar beneden en boven kan, scheelt heel veel lopen en klimmen. De indeling van het hotel is even wennen maar als je het door hebt heel logisch. Lisätietoja
