Avant Torrejon - Torrejon de Ardoz

My flight from France to Spain was cancelled, and the next flight brought me in too late for my flight to the US. So I quickly needed a decent hotel near the airport. I had read the reviews, so was not surprised by the 15-20 minute shuttle ride to this nice but quirky hotel. The food was MUCH better than I had expected, with the buffet nearly as good […] for breakfast as my nicest buffet on this long trip. Dinner from the hotel cafe was quite reasonable and just what I needed after a nasty day. The walk across the unheated corridor between the two buildings was a little startling in the freezing weather, and the lobby next door was unheated. But when I got to my room, I had a nice bed, good free Wifi, a comfortable tub for a hot bath, and a good night's sleep. This hotel is difficult to find without a good map of the suburb of Torrejon. We had a google map of general area but not specific enough. We asked but nobody knew the hotel or the street it is on. That is because it is in an industrial area where there is not much general traffic. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They gave great information on what to see and travel in Madrid. They helped me make train reservations for my trip to Barcelona. Their restaurant is a buffet with excellent food. A good value. The only drawback is that they are not too near a railroad or subway. […] You can walk to the train in about 20 minutes or take a short taxi ride of 5 or 6 Euros. A real bargain - only downside, it is not 'close' to the airport. It takes about 10 minutes by car/van, and it could be expensive if you need to take a taxi.

Hotel is not very close to airport and involved stop and go traffic in the free shuttle in the am on a weekday. Other than shuttle time was an ideal hotel for spending the night between planes.

Close to the airport, but not a whole lot around the place and was 35 euros from the train station by taxi. Overall, a very nice hotel for the price.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The hotel is rather nice , quiet and clean, but the personnel is the best. Very helpful and polite, they have class!. Although the hotlel is a bit far from the city their shuttle service is rather great and accomodating. One can be taken and picked up at the airport if one whishes to go to the city one […] can take the metro from there. They just require that you book the time you wish to be transported.but the great advantage is that is rather close to the airport. I'm planning to stay there again the next time I visit Madrid. the only downside to this otherwise near perfect hotel is that it is quite far from Madrid. Perfect for lay-over type stay, but if you want to visit Madrid you'll have to do some homework on what bus or suburban commuter rail (outside Metro's service area) to take to Madrid. airport transport was prompt and courtesy of the hotel. took approx 10 mins. the hotel was clean, tidy and good for airport. reasonable food prices, free wi-fi. rooms clean, large, good selection of tv in numerous languages. if you are wanting a cheap convenient for airport, stay here if you want hotel for madrid i would def. not recommend.

The hotel is very new. Staffs are very polite. They have shuttle from Airport to the hotel. Since the hotel is not near any public transportation, we need to take the shuttle back to the airport and take metro. highly recommended!

I stayed here both arriving and departing Madrid--as i had a late arrival and a very early airport departure time. This is a great hotel for that purpose. I would not recommend staying here your entire Madrid trip as it is quite a ways from downtown-20 KM or so. Nothing of interest in the immediate area. Public transport is easily accessible from hotel […] to centro. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable. The breakfast is above average and the staff is friendly and polite. I will certainly stay here again. One note...shuttle service to airport is very good BUT you MUST reserve your spot at least one day prior...it is best if you reserve it upon making the hotel res. We were quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The lobby was loud and crowded with a large tour group (possibly two). The restaurant was buffet only and also loud and crowded. They over-charged us. Parking was free, but the lot was packed, hard to maneuver in and hard to find. The industrial park is deserted at night, and creepy, with no nearby restaurants. The pool was locked up before 7pm. The hotel seems to be in two buildings. I don't know about the first building, but ours was stuffy and hot, no a/c in the hallways. Our room was also hot and took over an hour to cool off. The elevators were slow and then slammed shut quickly, mashing bags and bodies with no apparent stopping mechanism. The food in the buffet was ok. We chose the hotel because it was supposed to be close to the airport, yet it took us nearly 20 minutes to get to the airport. Es un excelente hotel, pero nadie en el aeropuerto me queria llevar porque dicen no saber donde queda. Felizmente llame, y me mandaron el transfer directo!! buenisimo!!!

El hotel està al final de un polìgono industrial, por lo que està mal comunicado y es imprescindible el coche. A cambio es tranquilo. Para quien vaya a viajar en avión el hotel ofrece un servicio de transfer gratuito, algo que lo hace muy interesante. El transfer hay que reservarlo y sale del hotel a las hora en punto. Tiene restaurante con servicio […] buffet. Hay carteles con el precio pero en ningun sitio vi la comida que ofrecian. Entré a cenar y la oferta me pareció muy pobre. Afortunadamente al lado del hotel hay un bar-restaurante. Mi habitacion estaba frIa cuando llegué (enero) y aunque la calefacción funciona bien (no pase frío) en el baño no hay radiador y el suelo estuvo congelado durante toda la estancia. La habitaciòn es amplia y limpia. Hay un televisor grande y una neverita (te dan dos botellines de agua). A pesar de los inconvenientes me parece un hotel recomendable para quien estè de viaje y disponga de coche dado lo que cuesta. Lisätietoja

Me encanto! Lo recomiendo para pasar la noche a los viajeros que necesiten trasladarse al aeropuerto porque ofrece traslado gratis. Excelente servicio y trato al cliente. Excelente precio-calidad. No tengo duda de que volveré al hotel Avant. Gracia por el excelente servicio!

No tuve ningun tipo de queja, el hotel era para lo que yo deseaba, algo cerca del aeropuerto ya que al dia siguiente temprano debia retomar otro vuelo, el servicio de transfer es tambien excelente y muy puntual con una atencion por parte del chofer digna de elogio. Solo puedo decir gracias.

Trivsamt hotell o trevlig personal.Hotellet ligger lite "off", men är ett bra hotell om man bara vill ligga vid poolen eller om man är på affärsresa. De tar betalt vid bokningen.

Hotel muy nuevo a muy buen precio, cerca del aeropuerto de Madrid.

Hotelet er faktisk bygget i 2010. Alt er nyt, hoteleværelset var meget pæn og behageligt. Og der god service.

Vom Hotel sind es 30 Minuten Fussmarsch bis zum naechsten Geschaeft, die Anbindung mit Oeffis ist nicht gegeben, es bleibt nur der kostenlose Flughafentransferbus des Hotel, der zu jeder vollen Stunde faehrt und wo dann die Metro in die Stadt Madrid wegfaehrt. Im Zimmer fehlt ein Kuehlschrank.

新築なのか、まだ木の香りがするとても清潔なホテルだった。料金に比較して、朝食も含まれ大変お得だった。送迎は毎時30分(例えば1：30、2：30)の迎えしかなかったが、電話を入れてターミナルを指定しておけば、空港のホテル送迎バス停留所まで来てくれる。計画的に使用することを考えると、タクシー代などを考えても、他のホテルより快適である。 なお、朝食のバイキングはバラエティー豊富でとても美味しかった。

O hotel tem muita qualidade e conforto. A comida é optima e variada. O staff é muito prestável. Fica um pouco distante do aeroporto e centro da cidade mas o hotel pagou a deslocação de taxi! Recomendo!
