"just like the pics..."
Very pleased with room, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything worked and was just like the picture on hotels.com, often times the rooms look nothing like the photos shown. Front desk staff wa very friendly and neat in appearance. Pool area and hot tub both very nice.

"Great but no continental breakfast"
Our stay was great except for the lack of the contintental breakfast. Went down at 9am to find that there were no plates, butter, waffle mix, scrambled eggs, or potatoes. Waited for someone working the area to show up until we asked the front desk staff to notify someone. A server eventually came but they chose to wipe down the counters and replenish […] the (cold) scrambled eggs. Asked for a plate and was told they were out by a less than delighted "server". Basically cold cereal, yogurt, and muffins were available. Hampton Inn's website says "Wake up to breakfast, on us. Great breakfast, that changes daily. We had a suite and were more than happy with the size as we had our children with ( ages 2 1/2 and 6 months). Hotel was a good size. Would stay again.
"Very Roomy"
The only fault that could possibly be found is that the kitchen staff were not aware of the number of people they had coming thru for breakfast, so when we got there all the food was gone, there were several people waiting. Took about 10-15 minutes and they brought out more food.
Great hotel and great stay! Clean rooms and pool area. Would definitely recommend.

Let me start off by saying I have stated at multiple Hyatt Place hotels across the US and this is the first one I have felt is not up to the Hyatt standards. The hotel is a little run down compared to the other ones I have stayed at. There are scratches all over the elevator and there was not informational guide in the room I was staying in. "Hampton Rochester North"
This hotel is great - I have stayed here twice in the last year and been satisfied both times. Quiet, comfortable, and clean! The breakfast is way above most free hotel breakfasts and the service has always been great.

This is a fairly new hotel built in past few years. They have their own shuttle to/from Mayo Clinic which is very convenient for patients. We were at the Gonda Building in 10 mins on morning of appointment. Great staff were very friendly. Good continental breakfast - waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, omlettes, yogurt, fruit, cereal, […] juices, etc. Will be staying again next year when I return for check-up. "not much respect for repeat customer"
I have stayed here a few times in the past. I made my reservation months in advance I choose to pay more money to stay here,as the staff were so friendly and accomadating. When we arrived after a very long drive,and in poor health, we were told that due to their error, the. suite we had reserved was not available.No apologies given. wewere given a huge […] room. "Excellent Service all around"
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was a full hot meal with cold items for those that wished to keep it simple. I appreciated the bowl of fruit that was out during the day / evening hours for a light snack.

"A well-run property"
This hotel is well-run with nice rooms, a nice breakfast and a free shuttle to the Mayo Clinic and area hospitals. We had the suite, which gave just the right amount of room and a sofa and little kitchenette-type area. It's always nice to have someplace to sit other than just the bed. My husband and I stayed over Thanksgiving weekend 2010. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. They have a fabulousbreakfast every morning and they change the foods offered- which is great to have a variety of food choices over your stay. They have ample parking (outside, not covered). Getting in and out of the Hampton […] is so much nicer than the hotels I have stayed downtown Rochester that have the ramp hassles and lots of traffic. The location is nice too- right on the major Hwy 52 and close to lots of places to eat and shop. "Easy to find, great price"
I thought the price for this hotel was very reasonable for a very clean, comfortable, easy to find hotel. Our bed was comfy and not starchy like a lot of hotel rooms! The bathroom was spacious and bright... plenty of space.

Conveniently located in NW Rochester within short driving distance to the Mayo and IBM as well as the apartment row. Very clean as this is a newer hotel. I used the fitness room which had everything with new equipment. Breakfast area well stocked each AM. We had another very good experience in yet another Hampton Inn.

This was my 3rd stay at the Hampton Inn while going to the Mayo. The service has always been great. Every staff person I have met has been exceedingly friendly. The breakfasts change each day and there are always a few options. The lady who runs the breakfast is out refilling frequently so I never had cold or dried up hot items.

I have been to many hotels recently but I always return to the Hampton great staff very comfy rooms, a cant miss breakfast(I Love the WAFFLES:) and honestly you pay alot less than you would expect....If your on a budget or not it's a great place!!!
