Excellent value; great if travelling with kids. Could not have been more pleased

I was shocked at the beautiful decor of the lobby as well as my room. Upon arriving I was greeted by a very friendly young lady which made me feel very welcome. As I did not feel comfortable being on the first floor, I asked if they might move me to an upper room which they did with no problem. We found this place as safe as any other in America, and the community across the street appears to be made up of typical families with baby strollers and kids playing and people walking dogs and nice townhomes and clean manicured lawns. The only reason I gave it 3/neutral for neighborhood was there's nothing to do within walking distance and we're […] city people so we prefer not needing a car for everything. Still, I can't hold it against Leesburg, so I'm simply neutral. My wife and I are SO happy we ignored that one misguided Tripadvisor review about safety and decided to stay here. I felt compelled to leave this review to counteract the negativity. We stayed in this hotel as a base of operations to explore Virginia's Wine Country. It was located in easy driving distance to downtown Leesburg for most of the restaurants, antique shopping, and coffee houses or even closer to a strip mall with fast food if that's more your thing. Getting to the highways was also easy, though getting back was limited as you can only enter from a few directions. The room was an exceptional value -- free parking, breakfast included (don't expect much, it's the basics of eggs, meat, cereal, fruit, coffee) dinner on weekdays and happy hour with beer & wine, a suite-sized room with a full refrigerator and kitchenette. The room was clean with modern decor - red & black bedspread, comfortable couch, TV in living room & bedroom, large tub shower with separate vanity/sink area. I did not have a chance to use the exercise room but it seemed top-notch as far as hotel gyms go. I have nothing to complain about and would certainly recommend. Also, if you go downtown Lightfoot Restaurant and Shoes Cafe were quite good. Vintage 50 has their own microbrews on tap. And Magnolia's at the Mill was as good as people claim it is (but that's outside Leesburg city) Lisätietoja

I have extreme allergies and I really appreciated the lack of strong scents in cleaning solutions, provided soaps, shampoo, etc. There were no sickening air fresheners and non-smoking room really was smoke free.
