Good location , wireless access was spotty over all a run down Hotel left from the 70 "s.

i was lead to belive that the room was real nice . When i walked in it looked like i was in the least expenseive room you could get. For the price I paid a night it should have had better bed and a place to put your clothes that did not smell like mold. I should of had lienings for the pull out and them be clean.

This hotel was terrible. I had to beg for clean sheets, no maid service. I had to beg for toilet paper. There was a mix up in our rooms thanks to Hotel.com. The room was nasty and they did not care that I complained. I will NEVER stay there again!

In my 73 years I have traveled most of my life and stayed in probably 1000 different hotels. This was absolutely the WORST room I have ever seen. It was strewn with mold and rust presumably from hurricane Katrina and never cleaned up. The floors were filthy the doors swollen and misshapen from water damage the appliances (including the lampshades) were […] rusty. The bed was terrible. This place was horrible from the front desk to the entire stay. The front desk attendant was not customer friendly and displayed a vey unpleasant attitude. The rooms..OMG...wreaked of cigarette smoke and mildew. The beds were hard and smelled like a dog or cat had been sleeping on them and the bathroom didnt have an outlet for a hair dryer or curling […] iron to be plugged in. The towels and wash cloths must have been purchased from the Dollar General store and were not clean. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would never stay here again. Lisätietoja

All was great except for sleeping! The beds were as hard as a rock!

All of our cash and credit cards were taken from our room, while we were at the beach.

Its in the quite spot on the beach, it has a great view of the Gulf

MY STAY @ GRANDCAYMAN WAS NICE ,LOVED THE VEIW.I STAYED THERE IN MAY OFTHIS YEAR IT WAS VERY QUIET ON THIS END OF THE BEACH.OVERALL MY STAY WAS VERY NICE.WISH THE PRICE WAS A BIT CHEAPER.MYBE NEXT TIME WILL GET A DISCOUNT! THE OCEAN-VEIW WAS GREAT.

This hotel was great! Right on the beach with very clean pool, hot tub. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay again next trip.

BATH TUB DRAIN CLOGGED ROOM SMELLED LIKE URINE VERY OLD AND BROKEN UP BUILDING BEACH CHAIRS ALL BROKEN , IM MEAN REALLY THROUGH THE DAM THINGS AWAY ,JUST A MESS OF A PLACE

We stayed only 2 nights. Overall it was clean, outside could have been pretty, but side walks were so grown up, needed manicure. Outside could use a paint job, not white like in the picture. Need to update appliances, but of course we didn't use any (ate out). Could be more lighting outside at night, I didn't like going outside alone because it was […] so dark, stairwells had to climb outside needed more lighting..for a short visit would be ok, but for a long stay , I would go elsewhere... the look is aweful, my room smelled like raid, not clean at all...paid to have a full kitchen AND the stove did not work.......Paid for a room w/ smoking and thats not what i got...was told to stand outside and smoke.......WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

the hotel itself was quite old & needs alot of maintenance. There was no wash cloths at all the 1st night we got there 1 tiny bar of soap. We had to call for wash cloths the 2nd day, they said they were out then called us back & we had to go get them, had to ask for more soap. The kitchen is fully equiped, but take your own coffee & filters, paper towels […] & napkins & kleenex. Altho the pool & beach area is nice, even tho it rained the whole time we were there we never set foot on the beach or pool. great location.....like being on a private beach almost, but the furnishing could use a little updating, overall it was a great stay!

We arrived early but were allowed to check in. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Whenever we asked the staff for information, they were always willing to oblige. Yes, the hotel is definitely dated, but you can't beat it for the price. I booked online and other guests had cheaper rates. The motel is old and unkempt. The beaches were filthy; liter and seaweed on beaches. Would not recommend!!

This was better than I expected after reading the reviews. Clean, nice staff, and great views. I stayed here with my 12 year old daughter and we loved that it was away from the crowds.

One word mold.........there was mold on ceilings&bathroom.unless you like black mold I wouldn't recommend this dive.

the hotel webpage said it offord things that were not really offerd. like there was suppose to be pool side bar and there was not. the house keeper only asked one day out of the three if we needed anything. there was no game room as the webpage said there was. and we were promised a room by the staff and didn't get what they told us we could get.

OUR TWO BEDROOM EFFECIENCY WAS A ONE ROOM.. AFTER MOVING US TO A TWO ROOM, WE STILL NEEDED A ROLLAWAY TO MAKE UP FOR LACK OF A BED. TOO TIRED TO MOVE AGAIN. GAVE UP .

imagine the inside of a 1970's mobile home and you get the picture. horrible. go somewhere else.

It need to be remodeled and the bar was not open by poolside. That would have been nice.

Housekeeping left a bit to be desired but other than that was a nice place.

To be a old motel it was fine,How ever it was way to far away from every thing. the person i talked to said it was in waking distance its wasn't and it looks nothing like the pictures they show on there site. The beds were way to hard.... but the pool and hot tub was nice. The staff was great very nice.

I will start with the good. right on the beach. That is it. found dead roach as soon as we got in the room. Killed another 3 days later. could not get extra towels. maid service did bare minimum"didn't even make the bed one day" hotel is in major need of repairs "not just remodel" has many large Cracks in the structure. their is a no pet policy […] but they put us next to a staff member that has a large barking dog living there. they do the bare minium to get buy. no coffee. no nothing extra. you even have to wash your own dishes or be charged $15.00 extra upon check out. but the price was cheap so you get what you pay for. Great location and view. Rooms were very dated and could use some upgrade. Bathroom shower needed work. Internet very slow.

The online information of the motel and pictures were very misleading. The kitchen left much to be desired with it's 1970 appearance. I felt as though we were taken advantage of. The silverware in the room was dirty, one of the washing machines was broken, the mattresses were uncomfortable and the shower/tub combo was not what was in our bathroom. It […] smelled moldy and was extremely small to have been listed as sleeps six. The grounds were nice and the view was wonderful, but that's all that made staying there worth it. very old property in need of updating. Kept clean. Far from attractions. Generally quiet.

Exterior is very good - Pool, beach are great. Room looks like it has not been remodeled or updated for 30 years. Beds very old and uncomfortable. No closet or anyplace to hang clothes. Efficiency had a kitchen with ancient appliances. General condition of the room was very very poor.

Overall, this location was a good spot, the beds were a little on the hard side but the staff was very outgoing and polite.

Very run down

The hotel was old but nice only problem was did not have clean towels until late that night.After coming off beach need bath but no towels.

the stay @ the hotel was great; the veiw and all. that was my first visit to flordia. planing on going back in july, i will be staying @ the GRAND CAYMAN. again!!. the price was ok. WISH I COULD HAVE GOT IT A LITTLE BIT CHEAPER!!! the stay over all was great; GIVE IT A TRY;U WILL LIKE IT.

Could definitely use some updating but all in all not a bad experience. Nice for the price. Pretty much a private beach. The room was very clean. The room did have some humidity in it but nothing to bad. Spent most of the time at the beach and didn't go to the pool area but could see it from the room. Seemed like it was a very clean area.

If you like quiet beaches this where u need to go. It was nice but other it being spring break, towels where limited. But the staff was nice to my party and I. Enjoyed the stay the little time we was there

Not bad for the price. Great view. No Internet in the room. You have to go to a community room to use Internet. Why? your guess is as good as mine. It's so cheap these days to run some wireless routers around.

the hotel is a cheap place right on the ocean it is quiet and has a allmost privat beach with chairs to rent for the day all rooms have ocean view a little kitchen helps if you dont want to spend all your money in restaurants we staid there the second time and will go back. you get what you pay for but the location alone is worth the money

This place could use a little renovating but for the price the value can't be beat. Right on the beach, great views from the room, the pool, the balcony, and the sun deck. The staff was friendly and called to make sure the room was satisfactory. The beds and bedding are old and not the most comfortable but they were clean. We spent most of the time […] that we were actually at the hotel in the pool, the hot tub, or on the beach. Everything was fully functioning and the full kitchen had available dishes. I'm not a coffee drinker but if you are you will want to bring coffee AND filters. The location is amazing. It is just far enough down the strip to be peaceful but a short quick drive to everything you want to see. Waking up to the beachfront view was a real treat. I wish the pool bar would have been open but I guess it didn't have sufficient business. For my money I get everything I need from this place.
