"Clean, convenient. Nice indoor pool"
Good locale, and quiet. Nice indoor pool (saltwater). Normal hotel breakfast - but its free so you can't complain. Free wifi is always nice.

Beside the dirty hallway with napkins and other remains of convention plates/glasses, the elevator was incredibly slow and the stairway was not close enough to walk up without going way down the hall. There were mystery hairs on the pillow cases...thankfully the hairs were long. While looking for an outlet by the bed, glanced behind the nightstand […] and it was disgusting! Trash, dust, and other unidentifiable items were on the floor and attached to the wall. The bathroom was streaky and all the amenities were turned around? The towels were rough and frayed...obviously not a housekeeping department that cares. "A Very nice place to stay"
A very pleasant stay. My 9 and 10-year-old grandsons had a great time in the pool, were delighted with the wi-fi so they could use their computers in the room, and afternoon cookies were a big hit. Ok, it's time for the review. I stayed at best western cause it was very close to wintergreen ski resort. Once we arrived the at the hotel, the hotel manager checked us in and give us the keys to our king suite the room was very clean and taken care for. The only thing I was annoyed was the tv was showing its Age/use it had some funky lines on top of […] the screen. I highly recommend best western start replacing the tv with newer ones but that was the only issue with the room. The breakfast was standard as any hotel is. The one reason I enjoy this hotel is the location and that when available they offer discounted wintergreen lift tickets. I wish I went to the hotel before I went up to the mountain I paid 80.00 a person for lift tickets and at the time of our trip the hotel had them for about 40.00 what a deal. I'm already planning on staying at this hotel the weekend after feb. 14th for yet a other adventure to wintergreen. Another thig going for this hotel is the many restaurants and a Walmart within a half of a mile to the hotel and that it's next to i64 which you can't miss I think everyone for the great service and lasting impression. "Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff"
I stayed in this Hotel with my family for 5 days and everything was fine. Heater is a bit noisy. Bathroom is clean and there is a decent breakfast buffet.

Loved the king bed. So comfortable. Breakfast was a little bleak, but that's not unusual for a US hotel. I hardly ever find a hotel that has a nice breakfast spread. Good location off freeway. Close to a Starbucks for morning coffee.

The hotel was very convenient; close to highway but no problem with noise from traffic. Room was exceptionally clean. Reasonable price made it worthwhile. Staff were professional and accommodating. Free breakfast was okay for someone on the run. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again.

This was a perfectly adequate hotel, though it seemed a bit overpriced. We stayed here for one night after driving on Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park (gorgeous!). The room was clean and comfortably appointed, though the furniture is a bit cheap (while looking for a blanket the drawer came apart and only just went back into the chest). […] The bathroom wasn't very well ventilated and the paint was peeling off of the ceiling as a result, but I didn't see any mold or mildew. The hot breakfast was the usual - waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, etc. We did use the indoor pool in the morning before checking out. It's small and filled with saltwater, but it was comfortable. I picked this hotel because it was not too far from Monticello and reasonable. I like it was next door to Cracker Barrel I always have some meals there on a trip.

"The hotel is next to Cracker Barrel"
This is the only saving grace for the hotel. Walmart is not too far away either. The bathroom was not very clean and the towels and wash cloths had holes in them. "OK, but nothing special"
I stayed just one night here. It was fine. Comfortable bed. No room service or anything. Free breakfast was decent - good variety of fruit, protein, cereal, etc. Not sure it was worth as much as I paid for it, but not a horrible experience.
"Hotel in Waynesboro, VA - without mountan view"
The hotel was conveniently close to Skyline Drive which was our sightseeing destination, but it boasted a "mountain view" and all we saw was the small dusty hill behind the pool roof. Not what we were hoping to get for the price. Also, the room was not ready even though the front desk checked us in and there was some strange white substance on one of […] the chairs, yuck. When we asked for more pillows because those on the bed were very small they could not give us more than one claiming "the soccer team had taken them all." Also, there were only two ratty towels, no wash clothes and no hand towels; we were unable to shower after driving 12 hours before going to dinner. The housekeeping staff was polite and eventually supplied the towels claiming a dryer was broken and had delayed supplying towels to all the rooms. Maybe the soccer team took all of those too. The lobby was nice, the pool seemd okay but the water was a bit cool and the breakfast was adequate. The front desk had a variety snacks or treats and a newspaper. The king suite was good sized with a microwave and refrigerator and the bed comfortable but the TV was old and did not have good picture quality. The area to hang clothes was just that, an area not a closet. The bathroom was a little cramped and the fan light was burned out, but it had a nice sink counter and decent bathtub. While the staff and room were very nice. The room was noisy because it faced I-64. The bed was very comfortable but the room could be arranged differently because you had to leave the fan running to drown out truck traffice on I-64 and since the bed was very close to the air conditioner the noise of the fan did not make for a good nights sleep. First depend on who is on the front desk he doesn't even say hi. The room was dusty and the day after they didn't clean the restroom. They changed the towel, didn't even rinse the bath tub. I left the room and there was hair in the bath tub and when I came back, it looked the same.

Nice Hotel but it didn't merit it's Best Western plus title. Everything appeared a bit flimpsy and outdated. Pool should be outside not inside. Also though not important a bottle of shampoo left by the previous occupier remained in the bathroom. All in all convenient hotel, but not as good for romantic getaway as I expected.

"Fire Alarm Malfunction"
No complaints except the false fire alarms both mornings (pre-6AM) I was there but I assume I just had bad luck with my timing.

Fire alarm sounded twice during sleeping hours for the second night in a row. Front desk did not follow up with false alarm notifications until questioned.

The "free"breakfast was not well managed. The worker says she was understaffed and could not keep up. I never saw a supervisor checking to see if things were going OK. The food was OK but not replenished and the small room was standing room only during the peak time at 8:30.

My daughter slept in the pull out bed and said that there were crumbs in the sheets. Other than that our stay was very nice. The free hot breakfast and take away coffee cups was a very nice touch and very much appreciated!! The hotel is close to the highway, restaurants and gas stations. We will stay again.

"Right Off Highway, Very Clean and Nice"
Hotel was very clean and new. The location was perfect. The breakfast buffett was free, but it wasn't too impressive. It is great if you are wanting a quick biscuit or bagel, but if expecting a great breakfast then there is a Cracker Barrel right next door. The only complaint was that the AC kicked on and off all night, which made it difficult to sleep. […] If staying an additional night we would have requested a new room.
