This hotel is a joke. The room was dusty and not cleaned. There was noise all night long so I couldn't sleep. Other people banging doors all night and talking very loudly no one seemed to stop them. Reception was like your grandmas parlour full of old dusty pot plants and tat. Wifi didn't work. Staff openly said they didn't want to be there and it showed. When you're paying $50 you aren't really expecting much. The lobby, service and hallways were not very satisfactory, however, when you get in the room, you were good to go. The pros about this place is that it is conveniently located right off the thruway and northway and is within a mile from a supermarket and many chain restaurants. Also, my room had a microwave and mini fridge which was great. On the downside, the room was not in the best condition. I have always taken negative comments left by others with a grain of salt. I figured they were being dramatic. I had to leave a comment about this hotel because our room was awful. Our room was non smoking but reaked like cigarette smoke. The scent was overwhelming. There was a puddle in our room. Yes a puddle in the entry way of our room. There was […] no toilet paper dowel. "Okay for the price we paid."
The hotel was not bad for what we paid, but could definitely use some improvement. The paintings in the hallways were water stained. After breakfast hours they kept the coffee out if there was any left, but dis not leave any creamer available. Had to ask for it and was told they were not allowed to leave it out. She did get me two half and half which […] say no refrigeration needed, so why couldn't they be left out. Breakfast was okay for most people. They had muffins, cereal and homemade waffles. I brought my own breakfast down with me since I'm on a carb restricted diet. I was fine with that and my husband enjoyed what they offered. We got there on Friday and had a lot of things planned for Saturday. We came back to get ready foe dinner and no one had been to the room to clean. I went down to the front desk to ask if it was their policy to not clean the rooms daily and she said no. She checked the list from the maid who was on duty and was told that she must have just made a mistake because she put a line through our room #. The front desk clerk was very apologetic, but said the most she could do is give us new towels since she was the only one on duty. The next morning after breakfast we checked out. The person at the desk was very nice, although I was a little surprised that she didn't ask how our stay was. Overall, it was okay, but not sure if I would stay there again. This hotel is convenient to the Albany Airport, It advertises that there is a free shuttle to the airport and that you can park there for $15 while you are away. Hotellin vastaus, Travelodge Inn And Suites Albany Please convey to the guest that we apologize regarding his “grueling” check-in process. This is really an “EXCEPTION” to the rule. Ordinarily the room keys and folios are ready for the guest when they arrive. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between our Wyndham Corporate Central Reservation System and our Travelodge Inn & Suites, Albany Airport Property Management System. We appreciate the guests’ three stars (despite his wait) and his comment that the hotel was “nice” and mentioning the proximity to the Albany International Airport. Hopefully, he will give us another opportunity to serve his lodging requirements.

We were pleased to see that our Travelodge Inn & Suites met her expectations and that she would stay at our hotel again. Our Housekeeping staff was pleased to read the comment the room was “very clean”. We appreciate her mentioning that the hot water tap in the shower may need adjusting. We will check this out at once. Our Owner extends his personal thanks for the comment regarding the location and our hotel being “well worth the price paid”. Both he and I appreciate her indicating that she would recommend our hotel. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming the guest during her next trip to the Capital District area.

"Pleasant/clean stay"
I spent a night there and it was supprisingly super clean. Love that they had a microwave and fridge in the room. The only thing was someone banged on my door laughing I assumed it was just some drunk guys. Besides that it was a pleasant stay and great price.Aito Expedian asiakkaan arvostelu

"your basic hotel"
This hotel was no-where near perfect, but it did the trick. It was just a plain normal hotel, the room was okay, not dirty or anything, a little small but for two people it was fine. If your looking for a cheap hotel in Albany, it isn't a bad choice. It is right across from the mall and there are a lot of food choices around including IHOP, Cheesecake […] Factory, PF Chengs, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts, Startbucks. Right next to the I87.
