10 minutes by walk from train station and 10 minutes from downtown. All is near. 4 minutes to big shopping center after which is downtown. Perfect and easy connection and travel by trams and by bus to beach. tickets can be bought from machines at every tramstop. Tramstop in front of hotel. Very helpful staff in the hotel and good internet connection in the rooms. Also possibiity to wash laundry and make your own food in the rooms(studio rooms). Rooms were clean.

An ok hotel in a quiet and commercial neighborhood several kilometers from the city central. Though the distance from centrum isn't too bad a problem since the tram-stop is just around the corner. We won't be coming back though, the service we got in all three of the restaurants in Montpellier that we visited was horrible behind the scale.. The french really lived to their reputation in this city, compared to the three other cities we visited..

Typical chain hotel, nothing authentic, but as such a nice hotel and friendly staff.

great hotel in the historic centre within minutes of most of the main areas you would want to visit. A very good sized room with a pleasant view of the cathederal. There are a number of great restaurants a few steps away. When I go back to Montpellier, I will certainly stay there again.

Comfortable hotel in an ancient building built in the 1500s. Really higgledy piggledy and amusing inside as it is made up of several old buildings put together. "BEST WESTERN HOTEL LE GUILHEM"
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. We paid approx £100 for one night, which was fine for the location, the room was smaller than i expected - not cramped, but the bathroom was very small. Overall i was happy with the hotel, and i will return as i am a frequent visitor to the city.

Stayed here twice overnight at beginning and end of trip. Was upgraded to GRAND CONFORT second time to excellent room (116). Spacious room with view and king bed, not common in France. Lovely breakfast terrace. First stay in CONFORT room also good.

I had a great 2 night stay at Le Guilhem. The hotel seems to be converted apartments, so the building has the character of a boutique hotel, unlike your typical cookie cutter hotel designs in this price range. Breakfast is served on nice balcony overlooking gardens which is pleasant considering the laneway location and the density of buildings in the […] historic centre of Montpellier. The hotel is close to all the attractions and right near public transport (trams or city bike hire). Værelse mørkt, vindue sad for højt derfor ingen udsyn.Kedeligt og ingen plads til tøj til 2 mennesker i gl. træ garderobeskab, ingen hylder! Morgenmad ringe, med terasse over restaurent der startede dagen med fritureolie lugt op hvor man spiste.
