Love the contemporary spaces. It was comfortable and a feast for the eyes. Plus we were really close the Johnson Space Center. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included) was good, too!

Great rates, nice room. Only problem was the breakfast area was very crowded in the mornings. Didn't seem as if the space could accommodate a fulller occupancy. Otherwise, everything else was outstanding.

We stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott over the weekend for my sons baseball tournament being played in the area. Everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were very large, comfortable, clean and were honestly as nice as many other 4 & 5 star hotels I've stayed in before. We stayed at this hotel because our son was playing in a tournament at Big League Dreams. It was close and very convenient. The room had a pull out sleeper sofa. It accommodated us nicely. We weren't able to take advantage of the free breakfast because service didn't start until 7, and we had to be to the ball park by then. Our family of four stayed for a night before heading to Galveston for a cruise. The room was big, had nice contemporary decor, and was very comfortable. The food at the breakfast bar was good (some eggs/sausage/pastry/cereals etc) My only complaint was that the bathroom door for the toilet was a sliding type and did not have a lock. I certainly did not expect much when I clicked on the hotel. Even for a 3 day stay, I thought I'd pay much more for what I got. The hotel is apparently very new, very clean, and the design is modern. The rooms are spacious (I had a single bed, king), I had a bathroom and a shower room, a sectional sofa, a really cool desk, and even a nice alarm clock […] that I could plug my iPhone into to charge and use as an alarm. The hotel staff was ALWAYS overly friendly, and I talked to at least 8 people there. I never had complaints about hotel staff before, but I've never given a raving review either. I give these guys a raving review. I travel to this specific area very often and prior to staying here, had "tested" other hotels. Very nice room, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Our room was very clean, roomy and comfortable. My wife and I and two children stayed for two nights and were very pleased with the service and kindness of the staff. We were only disapointed with the quality of the breakfast buffet the first morning, the food was very subpar. Needless to say we did not bother with breakfast in the hotel the second […] morning. Plan on a trip to an area IHOP or other restaurant of choice if you are big on breakfast! I had accidently left one of my nice shirts in our hotel room closet when we checked out. I contacted the front desk 2 hours later after realizing the this and the shirt was found and is being mailed to my home address free of charge on the next bussiness day. Great hotel very clean enjoyed my stay. I didn't like how the housekeeping lady knocked on my door five times with in the same hour to let me know that she had to clean the room and it was 9AM.

We had a great time. The Man at the front desk was incredibly friendly and informative. The rooms were spacious and spotless. We will definitely stay with SpringHIll Suites again.

Hotel was real nice. It was 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids in one room and we had plenty of space. Everyone agreed that the shower was awesome! Staff was friendly. Hotel was in a good location to food and other activities and not a far drive to Galveston. We would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel was very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable the bathroom were nice the suites were nice. My only complaints was that they didnt really clean the room the next day. I noticed that in the bathroom the floor still had hair on it from that morning when I combed my hair. The room was clean and comfortable, and the special order crib was in the room when we arrived later than expected. Check in and out was very easy and pleasant. The free breakfast buffet was horrible--the food was not fully cooked and had no flavor at all. Also, the area of the buffet was not sufficient to hold the number of people who were there. This was a fantastic hotel! My friends and I have decided to only stay at Springhill's from now on. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfy.. And can I just say AWESOME PILLOWS! The staff were all very nice and breakfast superb! Great value!

2 adults and 2 children stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, until the air conditioning went out. Even though it was set at 73 degrees, the temperature in the room only rose to about 81 degrees, so it was bearable. The room was a king bed with a sofa sleeper. We requested an extra blanket at check-in (12:30PM), but had to ask two other times before finally getting one at about 11:30 that night. Loved the room!!! The girls at the front desk were super friendly!! Kudos to you on this as most front desk clerks are stuffy and are there only for a paycheck. Would definitely stay there again!!!!

This hotel was very nice. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. My girlfriend and I stayed there for our anniversary getaway. We live in the area but with gas prices as high as they are we decided to just get a nice hotel for the weekend. Anyway, overall it was a wonderful experience. I do have to say that the towels were a little rough and the bed was a little too soft for me. I kept sinking in and I had to literally roll out of bed lol. The pool was tiny, and it was always full so I didn't get to enjoy it at all, but the rooms were so nice that we didn't want to leave anyway. They are very modern and spacious. The bathrooms were very nice, I don't know why there aren't more picture of them on the website. The staff was very nice and greeted us everytime we went downstairs. I only had one problem with them when my credit card was charged twice with the incidentals hold. But the money came back on my card after 2 business days. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the hotel. In one day we were able to enjoy Galveston beaches, Kemah Boardwalk, and Main Event, which is literally in the same parking lot as the hotel.. a perfect get away for couples or a family!

The hotel and room were clean and inviting. Employees very friendly and willing to help - we wanted some info on a local restaurant and the desk clerk went over the top to find something for us. I had a lovely experience with this hotel. Pictures are very accurate and we got a double queen room and it looked just like the picture. 4 adults stayed in one room and the size of the room was more than enough for all 4 of us very very spacious room. We were not cramped up at all we had so much space for all four adults. Everything was modern up to […] date decor and the restroom and showeroom was more than we had asked for. We were very happy with our stay and definalty will stay again here next year. If you book this hotel...you will not regret it one bit. I just wished the weather was better to jump in the pool. The hotel was great! Very clean, and the staff was very helpful. Laundrey on every floor. The pull out sofa bed was terrible, says the kids, but they always are. Breakfast was also good. No waffles or fresh fruit but was plenty for everyone. I would definately go back.

We have stayed in this hotel two different times. The first time, we booked 5 rooms for our Girl Scout Troop and their parents, and stayed one night. The hotel was a hit with everyone in our group. My family will definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. There was a problem with our toilet when we got to our room, but it took less then five minutes for maintenance to arrive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that will be visiting Galveston Island.
