Olin nyt kolmatta kertaa samassa hotellissa. Paria seikkaa lukuun ottamatta olin erittäin tyytyväinen. Suurin harmi oli se, että bide-suihkua ei ollut, ja se suihkujärjestelmä, joka oli, toimi alkeellisesti. Säätö ei toiminut, vaan vettä tippui jokaisesta kolmesta kohdasta, vaikka miten olisi säätänyt. Veden tulo alkoi aina kylmällä vedellä, ja sitä siis tuli joka tuutista. No, kyllä tilanteen kanssa oppi pärjäämään. Toinen harmi oli se, että vaimoni yöpyku katosi liinavaatteiden mukana, ja takaisin sitä ei saatu.

Hotelli on kohtuullisen hintainen. Sijainti aivan metroaseman vieressä, josta pääsee manhattanille melko nopeasti. Aamiainen on ihan okei, tosin tilat on aika pienet, joten oli melko ruuhkaista välillä. Huoneet on todella siistit.

Kaupungin New York sydämessä sijaitseva Staybridge Suites Times Square on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Madame Tussauds Wax Museum ja Times Square. Lähistöllä ovat myös Broadway ja Empire State Building.
Hotellin palvelut.
Majoitusliikkeen (liiketoimintaan sopiva hotelli) ravintolapalveluihin kuuluvat ravintola, baari / aulabaari ja välipalabaari/deli. Vieraille on tarjolla ilmainen aamiainen. Ilmainen langaton ja langallinen nopea Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla ja majoitusliikkeessä on myös tietokoneasema.Tämän 3,5-tähden majoitusliikkeen (hotelli) liiketoimintapalveluihin kuuluvat liiketoimintakeskus auki aina, kokoushuoneet pienille ryhmille ja AV-laitteet. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: concierge-palvelut, matkajärjestelyt/lippupalvelu ja tilaisuuksien tarjoilut. Hyvä, siisti hotelli erinomaisen lähellä keskustaa ja hyviä yhteyksiä. Erityiskiitos hyvästä aamiaisesta! Hinta-laatusuhde kohdallaan. Vaikka bussiaseman ympäristö on jkv "suttuinen", alueella tuntui turvalliselta liikkua iltaisinkin.
"Viikko New Yorkissa"
Majoituimme viikon ajan tässä hotellissa. Hotelli on todella hyvällä paikalla, jossakin arvosteluissa mainittiin hotellin olevan epämääräisellä poikkikadulla - Totta, mutta ei edes iltaisin tuntunut turvattomalta kulkea hotellille. Hotellin aamupala oli hyvä, plussana vielä että aamiaiselta sai ottaa mukaan jugurtteja/hedelmiä/muffinsseja! Henkilökunta […] toimi tosi hyvin (vastaanoton esimies kuulemma suomalainen). Mitään ongelmia ei tullut ja late checkout onnistui todella helposti. Huoneemme oli neljännessä kerroksessa, kadulta ei kuulunut meteliä ja muutenkin oli todella rauhallista. Aiemmin mainittu hissiongelma on hotellissa kyllä todellinen. Päätimme usein kävellä paloportaita koska hississä meni toivottoman pitkään, eli kannattaa ehkä toivoa huonetta alhaalta, koska maisemia ei ylhäältäkään taida olla (?) Matka JFK:lta hotellille metro+airtrain yhdistelmällä kestää noin 1½ tuntia, 42streetin asemalta pääsee maan alla suoraan 40street SW-kulmaan josta on vain 100metriä hotellille. Tänne palaan vielä! Aivan mahtava hotelli upealla sijainnilla. Erityismaininta huippuhyvästä sängystä ja tyynyistä ja mahtavasta henkilökunnasta!!
"Erittäin toimiva hotelli New Yorkin ytimessä"
Vietimme kymmenen hengen ryhmällä viikon New Yorkissa. Hotelli toimi sekä asumiseen että ryhmän kohtauspaikkana mainiosti. Sängyt olivat erittäin mukavat ja huoneet siistejä. Vain kaappitilaa kahden ihmisen vaatteille oli selvästi liian vähän. Myös eteistilasta puuttui naulakko. Aammiaistilat olivat viihtyisät ja runsaasta asiakasmäärästä huolimatta […] paikka löytyi helposti joka aamu. Aamiaisella tajonta ei ollut kovin laaja, mutta se oli riittävä. Viikon varrella olisi voinut olla hieman enemmän vaihtelua. Huoneessa oleva keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja toimii varmasti mainiosti niille jotka eivät halua tai jaksa lähteä ulos syömään tai haluavat nauttia aamiaista huoneessaan. Kaupunkihan on täynnä deli-paikkoja joista saa jääkaappiin täytettä. Palvelee omien eväiden säilyttämisessä hyvin myös erikoisruokavalioa noudattavia Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä. Tilat olivat siistit vaikka kerroksissa en juuri siivoojia nähnyt. Hotelli on keskeisellä paikalla ja metroaseman lähellä. Hyvin sujuneen matkan tärkeä tekijä oli erittäin hyvä hotelli New Yorkissa. Se oli kuin keidas, jonne pääsi helposti kesken päivänkin levähtämään. Erittäin siisti, ilmastointi toimi yli 30 asteen helteessä, sijainti aivan mahtava Times Squaren liepeillä ja henkilökunta erittäin avuliasta. ++++ Uusi, todella siisti, edullinen ja mukava hotelli loistavalla paikalla. +++ Huoneet (2601&2602) puhtaat, tilavat ja hyvin varustellut. Jääkaappi pitää ääntä, eli jollekin korvatulpat voivat olla tarpeen, hissin ääni saattaa häiritä huoneissa jotka ovat hissejä vastapäätä, (pyytäkää huoneet, jotka loppuvat nroihin 1, 2, 9 tai 10, niiden ikkunoista […] näkyy ESB!), vaatteiden ripustamiseen voisi olla enemmän tilaa. Mutta; sängyt ovat kyllä 10+++! IPod telakka, televisiossa ilmaisia kanavia yli 100. Eräänä laiskana iltana tilasimme japanilaisesta ravintolasta (menu ilmestyi oven alta huoneeseen) sushit, miso keitot, salaatit ja tempurat sekä muutaman oluen huoneeseen, hinta tippeineen $35, erinomaista! +++++ Times Square ja Broadwayn ja Off-Broadwayn teatterit kahden korttelin päässä, hyviä ravintoloita 9 ave w 44 ja siitä ylöspäin (Five Napkin Burger!!). Loistava sijainti Port Authorityn vieressä (metrot sekä Jersey Garden tai Woodbury Common outlet -bussit lähtevät naapurista), kaikki Midtownin nähtävyydet kävelyetäisyydellä, Natural Historic Museumille kävelee suoraan 8 ave pohjoiseen tunnissa. Duane Reed –kauppa 50 m päässä on auki 24/7! +++++ Aivan mahtava henkilökunta, ystävällinen ja avulias, respassa suomalainen Niina; viekää täytelakua tai liköörikonvehteja tuliaiseksi =) +++ Hyvä aamiainen, vaikka ei kovin monipuolinen. Kahvi ei kyllä saa pisteitä, mutta koska huoneissa on jääkaappi, mikro ja kahvinkeitin, saa omat latet keitettyä! ++ Ja ok, joskus niitä hissejä sai odotella, mutta ei siinä kauan mene. "Tribeca Film Festival Visit"
The service and location were excellent. I was attending the TribecA Film Festival and I plan to stay here again when I do the festival in 2013. The subway was only at the end of the block and it was relatively easy to catch the appropriate trains to the various venues in the tribeca area. The hot breakfast that came with the booking was also a plus […] as well as the evening events offering light fare, wine and beer. "A great Facility"
I love this hotel - have stayed here several times, and will do so again. The rooms are spotless, very comfy, and the staff is top-notch. Having the kitchenette in the room is a huge plus, if only to reheat and consume the yummy leftovers from the couple of nearby restaurants (head toward 9th Ave and enjoy!). The breakfast and receptions are great, […] but very, very very crowded. I suffer from claustrophobia, and could not hang. My only negative comment about Staybridge concerns the elevators - there are too few of them, and they are too small for the occupant density. Budget 10 minutes to get from the lobby to your room, and vice-versa, and you'll be sure you are not late for your business meetings. "Nice Hotel"
Nice and clean hotel in a central location with added breakfast provided was brilliant. The subway was a heartbeat away in fact this hotel was close to everything..... Bus terminal wasnt an issue for us although i must say having the port of authority a few doors up made me feel a little bit nervous been an overseas traveller...

Hotel was clean even with the bed bug issue via the internet. Did not experience any. Staff went out of their way to ensure good experience. Breakfast buffet was tasty. The hotel is in a great location for Times Square and 5th Avenue shops. Our room was adequate and what we expected for the price we paid, we saved money from the last time we visited NY. The complimentary breakfast is great value and had something for everyone, its buffet style so you can eat plenty and even have it 'on the go'. The lifts also could be better, whilst there are 3 you seem to wait an age to get one to come to your floor!!! Stayed at Staybridge at Times Square for 1 week in Mar. Location is excellent and you can walk to everything in Times Sq and Theatre District. Subway and Hop On Hop Off bus at the next corner. A really great location for all the New York sightseeing. Felt safe walking back to hotel in early hours of night. Staff service was excellent throughout. Full […] buffet breakfast was inclused in price as was free WiFi. Free laundry onsite. Self contained kitchenette inc coffee making. Beds only straightened every 2nd day and changes weekly. Had free drinks and nibblies one night we were there for an hour and a half. Only three negatives - very small rooms (typical for NY) with tiny showers, only 3 super slow lifts - most people walked down, and can be noisy eg on garbage night. "Staybridge Suites Times Square- Excellent Choice"
The staff was very welcoming from the valet to the receptionist. The location of the hotel is perfect to view all of Times Square within walking distance. Valet services parked our vehicle when we arrived, and we did not use our vehicle until we left. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit Times Square.

This hotel is right in the middle of New York and next to Times Square, and is used 24/7 all year round. Having said that, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast (complimentary) was sufficient to start the day off. The staff was exceptional. The hotel is right next to the bus station...close to the subway...walking distance to Time Square, Rockefeller Center, Theater District, Central Park...etc. Nice reception in the evening with wine and beer and finger foods. Would definitely stay there again.

Room was very quiet (even next to the elevator door) with comfortable beds. Loved the small kitchenette. Subway was approximately 3 min walk and Time Square 10 min away. Breakfast was fair with repeated scrambled eggs (usually cold) and choice of cereals and pastries on majority of days. Omelette on one day was excellent. Mid stay, a guest checked in […] with a dog that barked for hours. The front desk told us we would have to change rooms if we were disturbed by the dog. "Friendly Staff, Great Location"
The location of this hotel is wonderful. Just a few blocks away from both Times Square and the Javits Center which made my work trip perfect. Hotel staff was great helping us make dinner reservations and directing us to fun attractions. I will be staying here again.

Aside from the FREE beer, wine and appetizers Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5-7pm (Stella Artois on tap might I add), our hotel was amazing! I am a college student and decided to visit NYC for my spring break. The hotel was affordable for my budget, close to Times Square, and had awesome service. We had a refrigerator, stove and microwave […] where we stored cheap food that we bought from the drug store (Duane Read) about 200 feet away from the hotel. We also got Time Warner Cable for the times that we wanted to relax. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay there again! Lisätietoja

Loved staying @ The Staybridge! Great hotel! Even has refrig and microwave and little stove. Very cozy excellent bed, bathroom and service. Hope the price will be right to do it again.

"Staybridge Suites - great hotel in good location"
We stayed at the Staybridge Suites for our first trip to New York and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a good value hotel in a central Manhattan location. The hotel is located about 5-10 mins walk from Times Square, and has a Subway station on the corner at the end of the road from where you can go up to Central Park or South to the 9/11 […] Memorial, Staten Island Ferry etc. They offer a 'free' breakfast (included in room price) which was excellent (breads, fruit, cereals, yoghurts and hot food all on offer with juice, coffee, tea etc) which set us up perfectly for a day's sightseeing. The concierge was a a great source for advice and booked us tickets, gave us discount vouchers for shopping etc. Having read other reviews we requested a room on an upper floor with a view; we were given one on the 31st (out of 32) floor and had a good view, but lower down floors and rooms on the other side of the hotel would not be so lucky (I am sure this is the same as most Manhattan hotels). The room was fine and had a small 'kitchenette' with hob, microwave etc. This would have been good for anyone on a budget wanting to do a bit of self catering but we only used it for tea and coffee in the morning. On our last day (Weds) we left our luggage at the hotel and went out for the day. When we got back the manager kinfly gave us use of his office to pack our shopping into our suitcase and then offered us a drink and a snack before we left (I believe the hotel does complimentary 'welcome' drinks/food on two or three evenings a week). This was a very nice touch and a nice surprise to end our break before heading back to the airport. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay there if we visit New York in the future. "Great value"
Overall the hotel was a great value. They provide breakfast every morning and have a happy hour Monday - Thursday. They provide appetizers and wine during happy hour. The only two negatives are- the elevators are extremely slow and the showers space is tiny.

Location was great but the breakfast room and lifts weren't big enough for the number of guests. Room was small but then this is Manhattan. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice to have the kitchenette in the room but disappointed rooms weren't cleaned daily.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and it was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the view, and would definitely stay there again given the opportunity. The only drawback is that the breakfast isn't nearly as extensive as the advertisement states, and it is hard to find out where the food is even located. Otherwise everything else was great!

I booked this hotel due to the positive reviews on here and i am glad it did. Excellent value for money considering the cost of similar hotels in the area. Few people have commented on the area of […] hotel, i can honestly say it wasnt absolutely fine and had no problems with it and was happy to walk around the area even at night. The breakfast was very nice to have and a good way to start the day off, service is very good at breakfast and the food is replenished reguarly and you can even pack a takeaway to take with you. It can get a bit crowded at breakfast because there isnt a huge amount of seating available. You just have to be a little patient and you will get a table. The evening snacks and drinks which includes alcohol on the Tues, Weds and Thurs evening was a good bonus. If you are on the high floors you may well occasionally have to wait around 5-10mins for a lift during busy periods because there are only 3 lifts, however i only had to wait once in the morning. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and a very comfy queen size bed. Housekeeping were very efficient every morning. Service at reception and concierage also very good and helpful with any of your needs. Staybridge Suites Times Square is a good sized hotel, but still quiet, even though our room was directly across from the elevators. The beds are softer than my taste, and the pillows are soft rather than foam, but that was our only complaint. Loved the modern decor in our room and the lobby and common areas. The complimentary breakfast was extensive […] and amongst the best quality of the hotels I've experienced. The staff was courteous and helpful. Upon our departure, one of the front desk walked half a block to get us a cab! The room had a cooktop, large refrigerator, cabinets with cutlery and dishware, a microwave - everything you'd need. The bathroom was clean and modern. Nearby you can find 2 Brothers pizza (corner of 9th & 40th) - wait outside like the locals until new pies come out of the oven, then swoop in for a slice.
