Do not be fooled by the old lobby area and the weird fact that you have to climb up to the first floor to find the reception. The people in the reception are super helpful and the fact that you get the keys with yourself makes going in and out handy. The rooms are small, but very clean and just renovated. Nice and fresh. The safety box is handy. The […] little air ventilator was not enough, but helpful. The wireless did not always reach my room, which was the last in the corridor. Hotel which where you get more than what you paid. Really nice and helpful staff. Just like HILTON but just little bit smaller room. TRY!!

Nice hotel and good value, clean, nicely furnished. It's a bit of a walk to some of the more upbeat parts of Pest, but this could be a blessing depending on what you're looking for. Would recommend and stay again.

This hotel is centrally located and perfectly suitable for a short stay in Budapest. The rooms were clean and spacy with all the necessary comforts. One bad thing worth mentioning was the breakfast, which was poor at least for those accustomed to nordic hotel delicacies.

Central Hotel is a small hotel situated close to Rakoczi Ter in Budapest. The size of the room we stayed was average with no study table and chair but the room itself was comfortable and spacious enough for a couple. It has high speed Wi-Fi internet. Affordable, neat but small rooms. Breakfast was pretty simple, but worth it's €4,- per day. As stated earlier by others, the hotels entrance is weird and has an old and dirty feel to it, apart from that this hotel was great for a short stay!

The hotel was absolutely good! Staff is friendly and helpful, room is clean and comfortable, facing the backyard which gives no noise. the backyard is actually something of an italian style. wifi worked fast and with no interruptions, there was even a pc in the lobby. the metro is 4 min walk. the only thing si that it locates on the 2 floor and there […] is no elevator, you have to carry your suitcase upstairs, but then its only 1 flight. The rooms were modern and very nice, and we had everything we needed! The people who worked there were also very friendly and helpful. We were just one night but we had a good time there. The room and toilette were clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and they helped us when we needed it. The location of the hotel was 10 minutes walking to the city centre, so we really appreciate it.

No air conditionner, that's my only compliant, everything else is nice for the price of course. I'm used to 5/4stars hotel and regarding the difference it's a very good place for hollydays. Thanks.

the staff in the hotel were excellent in every way: friendly, helpful and informative. We were cautious to start as we had to spend our first night in an apartment due to overbooking. but even that was dealt with with friendliness and ease.

This is my first time in Budapest, really great to find Central Hotel 21 on this website. Nice place to stay, very helpful receptionist (very kind and warm personal), Clean, quite and safe walking on the Maria street. Easy to locate tram and tube at the Kelvin ter. Next visit back to budapest will book back this hotel.

This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone coming to Budapest. It is located midway between 2 underground stations (Blazha ter (red line)) and (forenc korut blue line) either of which will have u in central Budapest in a couple of mins (make sure u have a valid ticket inspectors are everywhere!!). I must say I was a bit daunted at first when I had to buzz in and climb a flight of stairs to get to the hotel lobby, but once we got in, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were fine and and they put out a decent spread for breakfast the following morning. I would gladly stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 21 in Budapest. Rooms are small but very comfortable, and the hotel staff were exceptional. Road works were going on in the street outside meaning that we had to walk through a sand pit to get to the hotel everyday, a walkway could have been provided and the street was often quite loud during the evenings, but they were […] the only negative points. This hotel is located in a old building on the second floor and has no elevator. I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. The surrounding neighborhood didn't seem the safest at night. Vi stannade på hotellet två nätter och är överlag nöjda med vår vistelse. Personalens bemötande var utmärkt, superbra service vid incheckning osv. Rummet var rent och prydligt. Så långt inga problem. Tyvärr var rummet väldigt varmt (ingen ventilation?) och väldigt lyhört! (öronproppar rekomenderas) Kan man få ett bra pris så är hotellet att rekomendera. […] Inga problem att promenera ner till city och vi upplevde inte kvarteren som speciellt obehagliga, området kring hotellet är inte så turisttillrättlagt utan ett vanligt bostadsområde. Hotellet kan absolutt anbefales hvis du skal til Budapest. Når drosjen vår stoppet utenfor skal jeg innrømme at jeg ble en smule skeptisk da det ikke så ut som det var noe hotell der. Skepsisen ble borte med en gang vi kom inn i resepsjonen. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Rommet var bra og vi fikk tilbud om frokost for en billig penge i underetasjen. […] Selve sentrum lå en liten rusletur unna, men med mange spisesteder i nærheten trenger man ikke gå langt for å få seg litt mat. Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand, das Personal ist hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war angenehm groß. Frühstück ist nicht schlecht, aber man kann in Budapest sicher besser frühstücken gehen, wenn man Wert darauf legt. Einziger Störfaktor war für uns die Türe unserers Zimmer. Es war zwar mit Blick zum Hof (ruhige Lage), jedoch war über unserer Tür eine […] Glassfenster durch welches die ganze Nacht lang Licht der Hoflampe in unser Zimmer schien. Das war insbesondere deshalb ein Problem weil sie einen Bewegungssensor oder ähliches eingbaut hattte und ständig aus- und wieder an ging. Dennoch kann ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und die Lage ist auch sehr nett. :) Lisätietoja

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Personal sehr nett. Zimmer klein, aber nett eingerichtet. Wurden aber oft von den Reinigungskräften aufgeweckt, da sie morgens im Flur gesaugt haben.

Wij verbleven gedurende 2 nachten in dit hotel. Kamer was schoon, netjes, modern echter behoorlijk krap, met name de badkamer. Verder erg warm in de kamer, geen airconditioning en het raam open was geen optie gezien er 's nachts erg veel straatgeluid was (waaronder een vluinisauto die van 2 tot 3 uur 's nachts werk had om de vuilnisbakken te legen) […] . Albergo in posizione ottima per visitare la città. Tutte le principali attrazioni sono raggiungibili a piedi. Vicino alla stazione della metropolitana. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen kleinen und sauberen Strasse (Einbahnstrasse). Parkplätze an der Strasse vorhanden; Gebühr 100 Forint /Stunde (in Münzen!!) am Automaten zu entrichten (max. für 3 Stunden). Metro und Strassenbahn in 5 Minuten Entfernung - also bestens gelegen. Personal im Hotel sehr freudlich und hilfsbereit. Schon für 4,oo€ gibt […] es ein Frühstück. Minibar, FlachbildTV im Zimmer vorhanden.; alles sehr sauber. l'hote el gode di un'ottima posizione confortevole pulito e il personale è gentile . le camere sono pulite e ben arredate ma l'unica pecca è che manca l'aria condizionata, nei giorni che abbiamo soggiornato faceva caldo e in camera il caldo era insopportabile

Ideales Hotel für einen Städtetrip in Budapest. Supernettes junges Personal an der Rezeption. Sehr hilfreich und authentisch !!! Die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber stets sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, 5-10min zu Fuß zur Donau und Innenstadt. Waren 4 Tage in Central Hotel 21 und würden das Hotel beim nächsten Budapest-Trip […] wieder wählen. Ne pas se fier à l'entrée qui à l'air un peu vieillote car l'hotel situé au 1er étage est très propre et le personnel très agréable. Les chambre sont joliment décorées et agréables. Proche d'un arret de tram et du musée national, il est plutot pratique pour se promener à pieds.
