Marconfort Beach Club Hotel - Torremolinos

The quality of food was fantastic, we only stayed for a week but sometimes found choices difficult as there was such a lovely variety. Would definitely recommend to families. Two downsides, the outside pool is freezing (April) the sun loungers are really uncomfortable hotel should invest in some cushions.

We had a enjoyable 2 day break, the hotel is on the outskirts of Torremolinos but I would recommend the train service into town as it is only 5 mins walk to the station and costs a couple of euros into Torremolinos or all the way to Fuengirola. We stayed at this hotel in February. We were a group of 14 celebrating a 40th birthday. The stay was great - the staff are very helpful, food very good and overall the hotel is in a good condition. Just across the road is a very long beach. As it was winter there was not much around but a walk to the railway and a few stops took us to a lovely shopping, […] dining complex called plaza mayor (it is the name of the station stop). Only a €25 taxi drive from Málaga Airport. The hotel was family friendly and going all-inclusive meant as much food or drink as we wanted. There is a large outdoor pool and a small heated indoor one (mainly for children). There were also children's activities throughout the day.

Nice hotel with exceptional cleaning of the room. We liked the swimming pools, but they were cold in April. Only children and Nordic people thought they were warm enough to plunge into:-)

As I didn't stay in many hotels before I didn't read the reviews before I booked the place and when I did after I though that people are just too fussy. But let me tell you one think – the reviews were 100% right. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Hotel says that they have a free car park but when we arrived the parking was full so we just […] double parked and went inside to check in and ask about the parking situation. There was a maintenance guy smoking in front of the building and when he saw this he ran inside and had a word with the receptionist before us. The receptionist was not very kind when he turned up to speak to us but had a smile on his face when we said that we would like to check in. Asked us to move the car but as there was no space anywhere he opened the locked barrier and let us park inside the other car park in front of cleaning machine and insisted that the machine will not be needed. We finally checked in. When we tried to open the room it wasn't working so I had to go back to the reception and they explained to me that there is actually a trick to open the door. I can't understand why didn't tell us in the first place. The room was disaster. The bathroom's door and shower's wall had toothpaste all over it, the soap dispenser was broken and there was no hair dryer. The bedroom's walls were dirty and there was some fungus on the ceiling. The room's door from inside looked like someone puked over it and they just left it to dry. The door to the balcony was very hard to open, the lamp shade was cracked and even the remote control for the TV was sellotaped together. There was a layer of dust on the bedside tables and the other table was dirty. When we were booking the hotel on internet they asked if we wanted smoking or non-smoking room so we went for the non-smoking but everything smelled of cigarettes. We decided to get out from the room as soon as possible and went to the hotel's bar which served drinks in plastic cups so we gave up and Lisätietoja

It was really easy to get to hotel from the airport in Malaga there are trains going to our destinotion. To be more precise you need to get out on "La Colina" Station and than is up to 10 min. walk. There were to main things why I gave so low rating. Firstly the food was nearlly always cold even if you got there exsactlly on time (apart soup :) ). The hotel is rated 3 star. I have travelled extensively in Andalusia and have stayed in many 3 star hotels, this hotel is no where near 3 star. Considering staff attitude, food and room facilities I would rate it lower 2 star. This is an all round superb hotel. For a three star rating we thought that it was top of its league. The restaurant was very clean, well run and obviously cared about. The food was excellent. Something for everyone. Labelled and set out with style. A very wide choice. The bars were well stocked and the barstaff very courteous and efficient. Being all […] inclusive we thought there maybe small measures in small glasses as we've found in other places but you got a decent drink and a 'pint' of lager. Good for them. We didn't see anyone taking advantage of it. The pools ( 4 in a line ) were lovely to sit around. Clean and inviting. The entertainment was steady throughout the day and evening. Fun and Games, and "entertaining." Our room was plenty big enough for 2 people and very clean. The only problem I could mention is that the beds were too hard. Balcony with a sea view. Bathroom clean and plenty of hot water. The beach is 2 seconds over the road and again, clean and inviting. Reception staff helpful and the maintenance man was great when I had a small problem with my door lock. I'm sure he probably thought I was a bit daft not being able to open the door but was really nice and after changing the lock made sure I was ok with it. Ikke særlig kønne omgivelser, poolområdet var heller ikke kønt.Indenfor var det udmærket. Utrolig flot buffet til alle måltider.

Ett mellanklass hotel som kanske inte är i bästa skick men uppfyller de vanliga kraven. Bra städning i rummet varje dag. Trevlig och hjälpsamm personal. Mycket nära till stranden. Gå avstånd till centrum men även en buss åker utanför hotellet. Flera pool, även för de minsta. De allmänna utrymmen är inte så trevliga. Vi hadde en super uke, familie på 4 - 2 voksne og 2 barn på 8 og 6 år. Dette er er bra hotell. Rommene er romselige, rengjøring hver dag. Vi hadde all Inclusive, og det var god mat. We went 5 couples to this hotel and we had a wonderful stay. Regarding all inclusive: nice food for all meals and the staff made us some nice drinks. The rooms were cleaned every day during our stay. Fint hotel, med mange faciliteter, men en smugle brugt. Der er ikke så mange dansker, men ellers ok. Maden var ikke noget kolonarisk, det var meget det samme, men vi blev da mæt og der var også hele tiden frisk frugt. Vores hotelværelse var lige ud for hotellets 5 elevatorer, det var ikke nogen god placering, for der var larm, hver gang der var nogen […] der skulle med elevatoren. Bra mat, utsikt. Veldig bra plassert ved stranda i Torremolinos.

Havudsigt fra balkonen, morgenmad med champagne, middagsbuffet med fri drikkevarer, vin, øl, sodavand var ikke hvad vi forventede. Men det var hvad vi fik. Hotellet virker lidt slidt udvendigt men værelserne var gode og rene. Maden var ikke gourmet, men rimeligt og rigeligt. El hotel bien en general, eceptuando al metre un tal bartolome que fue un poco grosero.por lo demas bien.

Mycket hygieniskt på restauranten.Vid ingången stod personal och delade ut spritservetter att tvätta händerna med, och på buffeborden uppmanades överallt att använda tänger att ta maten med. Alla gäster, nu på lågsäsong, många britter var inbokade med all inclusive, rekommenderas. Inget att klaga på överhuvudtaget.

Vi kom om natta med fly og fikk rom uten problem. Fin utsikt og barna var svært fornøyd med alle svømme basenga. Maten var god med stort utvalg. Besøkte også hotellet etter ei uke på biltur da var maten litt mer skuffende da, menyen var helt lik. I tillegg var kokken uheldig og mistet ei stor bolle med tomat saus i gulvet. alle klærne til 3 av oss ble […] tilgriset. 17. okt 2010 nå 20. nov 2010 har vi ikkje fått tilsendt klærna det lovet å rense og sende oss pr. post. Vi blev glatt överraskade över hotellet, särskilt maten då vi hade all inclusive. Det fanns mycket att välja på för alla smaker. Vi är förvånade att hotellet är 3-stjärningt eftersom det lätt skulle kunna ha 4 stjärnor på grund av dess läge, maten och servicen. Vi återkommer gärna!

Mycket trevligt läge vid stranden.Något slitna rum och inte så sköna sängar.Annars ett utmärkt hotell med god mat och dryck.Jag och min familj hade en trevlig semester.

Vi var på ferie til Malaga nå i oktober og under oppholdet budde vi på Marconfort Beach Club Hotel. Det var en flott opplevelse med mye god mat og underholdning om kveldene. Beliggenheten var også fin med kort avstand til standen og flotte promenader til å spasere på. Hotellet egner seg nok best for personer som ikke er på jakt etter natteliv da det […] ligger litt utenfor sentrum strøkene, men for familier er det ypperlig med mange aktiviteter for barna. Det som var et lite minus var tempraturen i basengene så sent på høsten, det var noe kalt slik at det ble lite bading, det hadde vert en fordel med oppvarmet baseng. Prisen tatt i betraktning er hotellet helt greit. Rommet enkelt, men relativt stort og med godt renhold. Maten er også helt grei, men krydder hadde ikke skadet. Ikke noe spennende smaker. Drikke, også vin, fra dispenser i restauranten og fra 2 barer. Raskt og effektivt. Bassengområdet er trivelig og vil man til stranden tar det 1 minutt.

Førsteinntrykket var ikke bra. Overfladisk mottakelse da vi ankom. Fikk ingen orientering om hotellets fasiliteter, bare slengt nøkkelen i hånda. Her burde det være en folder om dette. Dessuten burde vi i det minste fått vitekoden på låsen inn fra stranden. Her har de en jobb å gjøre. Standarden på rommet var som de måtte være. Dermed har vi tatt det […] som var negativt. Mat og service i spisesal upåklagelig. Bra pool og svært kort avstand til strand. Masse tilbud til barn, selv om vi ikke hadde barn. Kveldstilbud for den eldre garde, helt ok selv om quizen var orientert om spanske og engelske gjester som utgjorde det store belegget på hotellet. Savnet noe gammel-pop og muligheter for dans. We where pleased with the hotel. We got breakfast and lunch included. And the room was clean and with a big balcony as we traveled 4 girls. Near the beach and with sunbeds and pool at the hotel. - the inndoor pool was closed, that could have been open - as we had rain one day. Rien à dire c'est un super hotel. Nous étions en couple, bien que cet hotel reçoive beaucoup de familles avec enfants, l'organisation est parfaite. All inclusive hotel med lækker buffet til aften og frokost, der var mange ting at vælge imellem som skiftede og noget for alle aldersgrupper. Hotellet virkede som et meget spansk hotel, største delen af gæsterne var spanske, men det fungerede godt. Meget børnevenligt hotel med mange aktiviteter i løbet af dagen, og underholdningen om aftenen var også […] god for voksne. Dog ligger hotellet lidt langt væk fra områder hvor der sker noget ala shopping, oplevelser, så taxa må påregnes eller at leje bil. I stayed a night at the hotel with my family. We where surprised to learn how run down the hotel was. But this was the least of our worries. We visited the hotel restaurant for launch and dinner. My wife and I agreed that we could not remember such a bad eating experience.
