The hotel was a basic, clean hotel near the Medina and new town of Marrakech. I was especially impressed by the hospitality of the staff!

"Don't believe start ratings"
The hotel start rating is overinflated when compared to USA or European hotels. This is more like a two start hotel. It has a serious problem with sewage gases in rooms and hallways. I guess they don't think that having a sewage pipe trap is important. I paid 5x for a meal at the restaurant when compared to similar establishments elsewhere. "Beware of hidden taxes"
The hotel itself is of a good standard and we really enjoyed our stay there...until we went to check out. The hotel staff then informed us that we had to pay extra taxes (even though we had paid 'taxes and fees' at the time of booking with hotels.com). When we questionned this, as we were under the impression from hotels.com that we had paid all the […] necessary taxes, the staff became very rude and unhelpful. Despite showing the staff a print out of our booking from hotels.com, which clearly stated that we had paid taxes, and did not mention that we would need to pay any other taxes, we ended up having to pay. And received extremely poor customer service from the hotel staff. Very nice hotel and excellent service.
"Pengende værd"
Godt hotel, fornuftig afstand til centrum, hvis man kan lide at gå ca. 4-5 km. Desværre var der næsten ingen gæster, så aftensmaden var et valg mellem 3x3 retter, men var absolut ok. Det eneste virkelige minus var, sengene! Elendige og utrolige hårde, som at ligge på en dør med et vattæppe imellem.

l'hotel est propre mais un peu coincé en ce qui concerne le personnel qui manque de communication et de sourire. tout est parfait pour le confort la propreté et le service. j'y reviendrai avec plaisir .
"SKAT (TAX)"
Alt var fint og tilpas, Blot denne lille detalje, at hotellet opkræver skat på ca. 20 Dkr. pr. person per dag. Lidt ærgeligt, når man tror at man har betalt det hele i forvejen. Ellers fin service og standard. Wifi fungere desværre ikke...
