Waldorf Astoria Orlando - Orlando

I do not have enough adjectives and adverbs to describe how incredibly perfect, awesome and beautiful this place is/was. I was in heaven. Absolutely breath taking, and the staff were very helpful, kind and accomodating!!

We spent four nights at the Waldorf Orlando on a family vacation and were very happy with our rooms amd the hotel in general. The staff are friendly, thoughtful, and eagerr to help. We were very pleased with the property in genral. The hotel staff and service were excellent. I stay in hotels very frequently in my work, and I would rate this among the best hotels in which I stay.

pros: beautiful hotel in great location. staff was very courteous and helpful. cons: bedbugs. we actually saw them on our 2 children when we woke up and when notified the hotel of them, were told that the room was checked and found no evidence of it, so therefore dismissed the whole thing. very disappointing.

hotel was gorgeous, staff very professional and courteous. pool beautiful and rooms comfortable. but on our last day both of my children woke up with bedbugs on them. haven't heard from the hotel yet but really hope they alleviate the problem quickly.

The distance to the surrounding theme parks was close enough to make it a great trip. We used only taxis and shuttles to get to and from the theme parks with no problems. Fab location, New hotel - Brilliant

The room was absolutely beautiful but the bed had a dip where everyone sleeps. When you turned over you fell back in the dip. Great pillows!!! Room service was great with service but food not worth the cost! Rice was bland club sandwich okay. Best thing was wings. Not worth over a hundred dollars. Spa was awesome service !!

As a new hotel, it has a few growing pains. I arrived at 8:00pm and my room wasn't ready. Booked it two months previous. Did receive a complimentary dinner for two. Pool service was rather slow, not enough help. Could have been the unusual hot weather that wasn't expected, but you expect a Waldorf Hotel to have a back up plan. My wife and I had an amazing stay. We traveled with our 18th month old. Hotel staff was amazing. From start to finish a real first class experience. I brought some birthday surprises for my wife and asked the concierge to bring them to our room while we were at Disney. Not only did they set up the gifts, but they also left her a bottle of champagne […] and a nice card. Very nice touch! We had an incredible and relaxing stay. Is it a famuos hotel with a perfect service and location. We love it and come return.

The deluxe room with Disney view is regularly sized. The room at the Peabody is nicer to me The bed is very comfortable. For the price they charge here, there should be a mini bar. For families with children, you have no fridge to keep milk fresh. Service from the staff is top notch. Internet is not free in the room. We stayed in the Waldorf Astoria Orlando for two nights in December. The room we had had a lovely view over the pool and the golf course and was very well appointed. Also we could watch the Epcot fireworks. We went on the lazy river at the Hilton next door which was fun and we ate in the Itlaian restaurant there which was very good. The steakhouse in […] the Waldorf is superb (not cheap as you would imagine) but a wonderful steak. We had a couple of problems which were very swiftly sorted out by the Manager. The only complaint I have is 20$ a day for valet parking is excessive and although there is wi fi in public areas you have to pay in your room - a bit greedy. I really loved it at Waldorf Astoria. My problem was I have to pay $20 for Valet parking every day, and I don't have the choice to park it myself. Internet access is not included, you have to pay for that as well. These little things might change somebody's mind or at least give him a hint of what to be expected.

We have stayed at the Waldorf in Boca Raton (whose restaurant is subpar) and decided to try the one in Orlando. The hotel itself is much nicer, the rooms are newer and more comfortable, the staff was very friendly. The competence of the Room Service staff was not up to par. I ordered breakfast the evening prior and scheduled it for 9am, requesting warm […] skim milk and warm lactose free milk for our coffee along with a basket of danishes and Eggs Benedict.. It was 9:15 am and the food had not yet arrived. I called room service to see what was going on and they said it would be there shortly. Breakfast arrived at 9:20am. The skim milk was ice cold and I received soy instead of lactose free. The bread basket only had 2 danishes (the rest were assortment of muffins, etc). Room service charged me for the fruit cup that comes with the Eggs Benedict as stated in the menu. We have never had these problems at the Four Seasons or The Ritz. Lisätietoja

This is an excellent hotell. Very nice personell.

Room and services are good. Valet parking $20 per day. For self parking, you have to pay each time to move your car. $13 for overnight parking. Parking lot is far from the hotel. Wifi $5 every 3 hours.

Expected more for 5 stars. Attached to Hilton. Nothing really sets it apart from Hilton. You actually have to go to Hilton to get Disney tickets, etc. Restaurants slow. Rooms above average but not grand. Price was appropriate. Star rating was not.

I made a mistake visiting this worst service hotel with my wife and 10 months old baby. Waldorf Astoria was listed as a 5 star hotel out of the 3 hotels in Orlando area. When I booked my reservation for 4 nights, I specifically wrote to provide a refrigerator and a baby crib. When we arrived, the hotel clerk did not know anything about these requests […] and obviously nothing was prepared for us. She promised to send it all to our room right away. We waited for 30 minutes and nothing happened. I called again and complained. 15 minutes later they brought it in. When we asked the concierge about Disney parks hours and directions, they did not know much about it. And proved to be completely useless. Breakfast buffet the next morning turned out to be a disappointment. Too many sweets, eggs, sausages and not much of real food. Its not much of a breakfast in a 5 star hotel compared to the level of Ritz-Carlton. The Hotel is beautiful, but poorly mantained. When I went outside on a lobby porch, there were full ashtrays from the night before. Valet service was a disaster. It takes a while to get your car upfront. When you show up at the front door, it will take you another 5 minutes to wait for Valet to bring you a key for the car. Valet will not open doors for you or help you with a stroller or other luggage. They will stand on a sidewalk and wait for their tip. Housekeeping always came in at 9:00 am, when I specifically instructed the front desk to clean our room in the afternoon. As much as I complained that they always walked in and woke up the baby, they never listened. This situation was repeated almost every day. Finally when we were checking out I requested a bell boy to help us with a luggage. We waited for 20 minutes and nobody showed up. I called again and they said that they never got my request. How is this possible when I was standing right at the front desk when the clerk was making a call to the luggage service. This is complete mismanagement. Don't waste you ti Lisätietoja

We had a wonderful stay. We wished that we could have stayed longer. Don't miss the breakfast at Oscar's. Our only complaint was that the room warmed up during the night even though we set the thermostat at 68 degrees when we went to bed.

I was planning to stay at one if Disney's Resort Hotels in Orlando and then came across the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. I didn't know they had a Waldorf in Orlando. The hotel was beautiful and the service was OUTSTANDING!! I usually have atleast one complaint when staying at a hotel..everything was perfect!! It was also very convenient to all of the parks. […] We were only five minutes away from everything. This is a very high end hotel that is very new and very beautiful. The staff is extremely welcoming and very professional. We booked thru Hotels.com and they upgrated us to a lovely suite with our Hilton Honors. If you want an amazing vacation stay, stay at this hotel! The restaurants were great also!

I haven't stayed in any five stars, but mostly stay in four stars, but this was stellar. The rooms were really nice, not super huge though. The beds were awesome! I think that for the money, it was a great deal. The place is incredibly quiet.They have transport to Disney once an hour and it was fine. I was placed in a room that was non smoking and unfortunately there was plenty of smoking in other rooms. I had a child with asthma and they did nothing about it.

The Hotel is very nice and the service is great;although, I think it should be rated a four star and not a five star. For a little more I could have stayed at the Ritz but I wanted to save a little. From the moment we drove up to the moment we drove away, we were catered too, and treated like true guests. The staff is first rate and the accommodations are above most I've seen at any hotel in the area. The hotel was over half full and we never heard any noise. Breakfast bar at George's was superb. It was raining almost the entire stay and we did […] not get our jackets packed by accident, the ponchos were sold out in the lobby store, but transportation staff went out of their way to find us some. Excellent service, very relaxing environment and so comfortable. It's a must stay hotel.

We were very happy with our stay. We stayed in a 2 queen room without a view and were upgraded to a Disney View. The use of the Hilton Property next door was very nice. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. Will visit again soon

This has got to be one of the best EVERYONE could not do enough from asking for directions to opening doors very professional as well as fun We will absolutely stay here on our return to Orlando and Disney World Thank-You

The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is an exelent choice for people looking to relax and at the same time visit Orlando's best attractions.

The hotel accommodations and the entire staff were beyond all our expectations. They were sensational to put it mildly. The hotel is equal to any world class hotel we have stayed at abroad or domestic. The only suggestion and/or complaint I have is the room service. While the food was exceptional, of the three times we ordered, twice part of our order […] was no delivered. The error was immediately corrected, but two out of three is not acceptable. While the food was excellent the selection was not. All restaurants and bars in the hotel are first class. We will differently stay at the Waldorf Orlando the next time we are in the area. The hotel is excellent. However, a small problem is that shattle from disney to the hotel ends exactly after the parks close and we missed it every day and had to take a taxy after we finished in Disney.

From the very start an early check in, an exquisite breakfast buffet, 2 elegant pools- with incredible pool side service, a Concierge (Carolyn) that really knows how to take care of you! What more can you ask for. How about sitting on your balcony at night and watching the Disney fireworks display!

The hotel & service was great--- the only thing bad was the breakfast service in the resturant--BAD -- dont go there for breakfast service not good

I had an excellent stay. The only problem with the hotel was they did not have enough staff to cook the breakfast relative to how many people were waiting. By the time my one crepe was cooked my eggs and potatoes were cold. If only they had enough people helping behind the warm foods I would have had a hot meal for 30 dollars.
