Pho Hoi Riverside Resort - Hoi An

we had a most enjoyable 5 night stay here in april 2012. the location close to the old town was great and being on the island just a short walk across the bridge avoided much of the traffic noise etc of the town itself. the grounds and facilities eg brecky, pool were excellent as was the service and attitude of the staff. only flaw i can pick was the […] bathroom plumbing, particularly the poor water pressure making the (typical) bath mounted shower pretty weak. its a small point and being objective you have to remember where you are and the country is still developing fast. i have no problem recommending this place unless you really really need a 5-star place in which case you may need to reconsider your choice of country to visit.... The location is great just cross the bridge and you in Hoi an's lovely market and old quarter. But the hotel is terrible, the rooms are equipped to the 1970 standard. Old furniture, hard old spoungee mattresses. Windows rattle with the wind and make terrible noise. Wifi is not working. No sockets to charge your phone. And above all they charge extra […] 3$ for toillet paper! This place is really ages back! And Hoi-an is such a lovely town don't spoil your visit there with staying in this hotel Lisätietoja

Our family has stayed there for one night and it worth for the money; first we can cross the bridge and view the river; secondly, it's near the old town just after the bridge. yes, the hotel itself is ok. I would not stay here again because of the constant trying by the management to cheat us out of money. Whether it's by trying to make us pay more for the same room or charging 3 times the price for water. They do tricky things, and we witnessed the majority of guests next to our internet station having words and frustration […] with the management. We left in a bad mood because of this, so even though the hotel is fine, it put a damper on our stay to be around an energy of people that was so bad and frustrating. nice staff and good location. clean rooms and good breakfast. Some of the staff speak some english , but they are all helpfull and polite. A safe place to stay at a reasonable price. Dont go for the more expensive alternatives. The rooms are almost the same. Swimmingpool is nice , but very hot water.

I saw previous comments saying the beds were uncomfortable and the hotel was too far to walk from town. I wonder who was making those comments ? The hotel could not bebetter located or closer to the old town. There are no hotels or guesthouses in the historic center. The beds are hard - I like hard so I'd say they are comfortable. I aggree that the […] bed sheets are too small and tend to come out from under the mattress - but that's not such a great hardship. To say we were extremely disappointed would be putting it mildly. We had spent the previous night in a quaint hotel in Hue. There we were treated like royalty by a well-trained staff that did everything possible to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We were served a welcome snack and given a brief presentation on hotel and room amenities. The room was nicely […] appointed and even contained a computer. This hotel provided none of this. No wifi connection was available. The room had a run down, worn out appearance. When in the room during the day we were subjected to a disturbing level of noise. Upon inspection we discovered that the hotel laundry was located above our room and ran all day. When we asked for a room change we were told there were no others available. That evening the room turned quite cold. When we tried to use the heating unit it did not work. We slept fully clothed because repair attempts were unavailable. When attempting to shower we had to hold the broken shower head. No safe was available in the room and using hotel safe was very problematic. The manager had to be located each time. NIce hotel right by the river. the staff were super friendly. the only thing is that its a bit of a walk at night from the old quarter. as long as you walk around the market to get to the bridge its relativly safe. the room was big, the shower leaked water from the bathtub into the bathroom but generally ok. i didnt try the breakfast as i was invited […] to breakfast and lunch by my friendly tailor. i only spent 2 days in Hoi An and would definatly come back. Perfekt läge, nära till allt. Fint poolområde. Enkel standard men rent och helt ok.

Fantastisk beliggenhed med floden som nabo! Gå over broen og du er i det pulserende handels og restaurantsområde. Ok morgenmad.

Hotelanlage ist sehr schön, Zimmer ist genug gross nur die Sanitäreinrichtung ist nicht ganz up to day.

Chamerende ældre hotel med ægte asiatisk stemning. Dog lever billederne ikke op til hotellets virkelige stand, og det taget i betragtning, er nok prisen i overkanten. Personalet var venlige, var knap så venlige når man ikke bed på de øvrige produkter de prøvede at sælge os straks vi trådte ind af døren.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Der Garten und das Schwimmbad sind sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet wird durch die beste Omlettköchin aufgewertet. Das Personal zeigte sich kompetent und hilfsbereit. Der modrige Geruch im Zimmer ist zwar durch das jährlich Hochwasser bedingt, aber dennoch störend.

Hotellet ligger lige på den anden side af den lille smalle bro midt i den gamle by. Meget centralt og i gåafstand til alt undtagen til stranden. Cykler kan lejes hertil mod formedelst 1 dollar
