La Ramade - Marcey-les-Greves

The hotel is immaculate. Everything is new. The beds are large and comfortable. Good parking, beautiful grounds, very helpful staff and nice breakfast. No down side.

We sincerely enjoyed our stay at 'La Ramade'. The staff made us feel exceedingly welcome and were able to accommodate every request we made of them. The hotel is a small yet perfectly formed country house with rooms named after species of flower, relating the floral theme redolent throughout the building - even the bathroom tiles depict illustrations […] of flowers, as do the (beautiful) oil paintings present on the walls of the rooms. Our room was spacious and particularly luxurious with ample attention to detail. The hotel's location affords it a relaxing quality not present in other hotels so close to Mont St Michel. A small issue is the unavailability of food within the hotel, as the closest restaurants are located in Avranche, a five or so minute drive away. I can't imagine a situation where a person staying at this hotel would not arrive by car (as it is a fair distance from major transport hubs), but if driving is an issue this could be a detrimental factor. For the technologically-minded like myself, it is always a distinct relief when a hotel boasts high-speed, reliable internet access. My experiences in France over the last decade or so with regard to this issue demonstrate that although wireless coverage in hotels is improving, it still lags distinctly behind many other nations including newly-developing economies. 'La Ramade' however offers faultless online access and should be justly commended as a result. The public rooms of the hotel are all maintained in immaculate condition and a log fire burns in the salon/bar area affording the space a comfortable vibe. The conservatory which serves a breakfast room overlooks the attractive garden, and the breakfast itself is excellent. Though not the closest one, but this hotel is still within an acceptable distance to visit Mont Saint-Michel. The hotel has lovely indoor and room deco; clean and in good condition. Hotel staffs provide an excellent service and communicate in English is no problem at all. Yes, carrying luggage upstair is a little bid troublesome but this won't forbid […] me to suggest this good hotel to all my friends! Lisätietoja

Great value for money, very pleasant hostess who makes you welcome. Easy access to Mont San Michel

For a taste of French hospitality in a gorgeous estate stay at La Ramade. My fiance and I so enjoyed the ambience of this property that we would have loved to have had the opportunity to stay longer. Spacious room, warm and thoughtful decoration, comfortable bed, lovely people. . . need I say more.

Stunning rooms, beautifully decorated and very spacious, breakfast was excellent and served in a delightful atrium, service was very professional and helpful, the recommendation for a restaurant provided us with an amazing dining experience. All in all it's perfect, as long as you can manage the staircase.
