Aklesia B&B - Suite Colosseo - Rooma

Aklesia's B&B was fantastic. The location near the Colosseum is perfect - you're a 5 minute walk from two metro stops and across the street from the bus stop which will quickly get you anywhere you need to go. Not to mention you get to walk past the fabulous Colosseum daily! The rooms have very high ceilings and are spacious, which was a welcome change […] compared to the other places we stayed in Italy. But the best part is Aklesia herself - she was a most gracious and helpful host! She recommended excellent nearby restaurants, airport transportation, sights to see, and anything else we wanted to know. She serves breakfast every morning, and even brought a tray to our room on a morning when I was sick and slept in. All in all, a fantastic place to stay. Lisätietoja

Aklesia and Gianfranco were for us immediatly like old good friends. The interaction with other guests , especialy at breakfast was definitly better than in conventional hotel. Great location with view of Coloseum from our smoking spot on the roof. We took taxi from Fiumicino to Aklesia but it is not realy necessary, take anything to get to termini […] and continue with underground to Coloseum. From there 5-10 minutes walk to Aklesia. Absolutely loved our stay! Our hosts went above and beyond all expectations, very helpful and knowledgeable about Rome. Great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. We stayed in the Golden room, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean A+ all round.

Excellent value. Fantastic service and personable hosts. Aklesia herself is a delight. The neighborhood is not the most ritzy, but short walks to major sites and restaurants more than make up for this. For those looking at other B&B's, you can stop searching. This is the one for you.

We had an amazing time at Aklesia B&B. It is very close to the colosseum and a variety of excellent local resturants. The service and cleanliness of room was outstanding. Aklesia was very welcoming and a great hostess. Lot's of stories and recommendations for where to eat, visit and how to get about. The room had a huge pile of travel books and magazines […] for referrence and she even has a log book from previous guests who provide some amazing recommendations. We stayed here for 4 nights in September and would thoroughly recommend it. Aklesia and Gianfranco couldn't do enough to help. The suite was beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.
