We wanted to stay somewhere near Interlaken and Grindelwald, and found this hotel with an incredibly beautiful location by Lake Brienz. Took less than 10 minutes by car to Interlaken and 20 minutes to Grindelwald. We were very pleased with this peaceful, beautiful location by the lake. The little garden outside the hotel is so pretty and there are stairs leading to the clear waters of the lake so you can take a swim just 20 metres from the hotel. We stayed two nights and I would've gladly stayed longer, just to soak up the atmosphere at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly, they even talked german slowly because of my poor skills. :) Very near to the railway station and the hiking tracks. Breakfast was good and room was clean. You will like this cozy place.

Hotel Berghof is located at Wilderswil near the city of Interlaken. The hotel was in very nice and scenic location on top of a hill. The views were fantastic and you could see the mountains, the town and the local life. Room was very large, nicely equipped and clean. Breakfast was also delicious.

"More stars than the hotel ranks itself"
My husband and I stayed at Carlton-Europe Hotel for two nights during our stay in Interlaken in April 2012 for Easter. I ranked this hotel the best compared to the other 5 hotels in Germany, Swiss and Italy with similar price that we also booked on hotels.com for our trip. The service of this hotel is excellent, we were greeted upon check-in and were […] provided a map of the city and a travel card that allowed us taking the all buses free of charge in Interlaken and between the Ost and West station. The front desk staff that received us - Christina, was particularly helpful to all our requests and always wears a big and sweet smile which makes guests feel welcome. Our room was spacious and decorated in country style with a balcony that could directly see the snow mountains. The bathroom was nice with a shower tap that you could adjust the water pressure and temperature you want so after a long day trip we could relax the muscles. The breakfasts were also nice with a variety of quality food to choose (much better than other hotels with similar price). The hotel also has a pool table and a common room for use. Late check-out was also ok and we received a small jar of homemade jam as a gift when we checked out and it was a surprise to us. The staff did not just serve you as a job but with professional attitude that care about your stay with them. The hotel restaurant was also nice, we tried traditional Swiss Fondue and it was tasty and cheaper than other restaurants around town. This hotel is situated in good location, only a few mins walk from the train station (Interlaken Ost). Overall I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who plans to visit Interlaken. Lisätietoja
"Old, funky"
This hotel was not renovated, looked and felt old, but was right across the street from the funicular up the mountain. The hotel was a little shabby, but the breakfast (included) was good. Eh!
"Service"
Desk staff very helpful with all questions. Lift helpfull in getting to room. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice. Room comfortable & hotel walking distance to all attractions
"Carlton Interlaken - Convenient, Comfortable"
The Carlton is located 200m from the Interlaken Ost Railway station. Value is reasonable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not many dining options nearby.
"Zentral gelegenes Top-Hotel"
Mit 3* zu niedrig bewertet! Ein Hotel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, dass seinen Charme behalten hat. Schöne saubere Zimmer und die Wellnessanlage klein aber fein: Gerne wieder!
"駅に至近で便利"
インターラーケンオスト駅に非常に近く便利。もちろん、チェックアウト後もスーツケースを預かってくれたので駅のコインロッカーを使わずにすんだ。 ダブルベッドルームとなっていたが、マットは分かれていたのでシングルがくっついているような形であり、振動が伝わらず落ち着いて眠れた。 改装されたのかトイレ・洗面・浴室周りが新しそうでよかった。
