Hostal Gallardo - Madrid

I was surprised that it was so central and the quality of this hostel. Gallado is one of the best hostal i have stayed on and if you want to take the metro its 1 min. away. Next time iam in Madrid i am going to stay on Gallardo. They was not so good on English but that rule looks like is for all the Spanish people so it was not a big deal.

Hostal is one of the cleaner hostals that I have stayed in in Europe. It was nice to have an attached bathroom and the room was cozy. The Hostal was close to the metro so it was easy to get to from the airport by metro. Location is right by a metro so easy to get to all the big sights from there. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Dans un beau bâtiment l'hôtel est super bien placé : trés proche du métro dans un quartier animé. Accueil sympathique, dommage qu'il ne parlait pas anglais.

When reading this, it's important to keep in mind that this is in fact a hostel, not a hotel. But as hostels go, this is one of the best you'll find. The rooms are decent, that is to say, they don't look great, but the beds are quite comfortable, and the bathrooms is top notch as far as hostels go. The hostel is nicely located, close to Metro stations Tribunal and Bilbao. The hostel is in walking distance to some of the main attractions Madrid has to offer. And if you don't feel like walking, the Metro is not far away. The hostel is quite easy to find. If you arrive from the airport, take line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, change to line 10 heading in direction of Puerta del Sur to Tribunal (third stop). If you arrive by train to Attoch, just take line 1 heading in direction of Pinar de Chamartín to Tribunal. You will now be about 300 meters from the hostel. The hostel is upwards, on the left side. One thing one be aware of, is that parts of the staff do not speak a single word of English, so it might be a good idea to remember a few simple phrases in Spanish before you arrive. Hostalets personal var mycket trevliga och service inriktade. Städningen gjordes noggrann och man kunde absolut lämna sakerna på rummet utan att det försvann. Kan definitivt boka om det till min nästa vistelse i Madrid.
