Hotel Jacques de Molay - Pariisi

The hotel is located in a quiet section of the Marais, but only a few blocks from a Metro stop. There is a nice corner bistro to enjoy a baguette and coffee and watch the world roll by. Our room was comfortable and cute. There was a pane of glass missing in the shower door, which presented some inconvenience, but otherwise the hotel is very well maintained […] and the staff were very helpful. I would stay here again. Where do I begin....first time to Paris, wanted a clean, safe, fun space and The Jacques De Molay was exactly that. Friendly and helpful, kind staff, great information to give. Wonderful continental Bfast, workout room a BIG PLUS, cabs avail and The Marais is a perfect , low key local. Would recommend in a heart beat. So, there's ZERO point in having a Do Not Disturb sign on your door because the maid will just bardge her way in anyway while your laying in bed and she'll clean it while you're gone.... when you still have the sign up. NO POINT. They stuck me in the smallest room they had... probably because they knew they could and I wasn't going to say anything […] (my fault). It was old but clean. /: Still felt dirty though. The bathroom faucet leaked while it was running so I had to wrap a towel around the base of it (which the maid took everytime she unallowingly cleaned my room). The shower door was broken so water went everywhere when I took a shower (rusty water too, but I think that's all I Paris. Old plumbing). There was a screeeammming child in the next room over (not really the hotels fault, but they knew what room that family was in and stuck me right next to them). You can hear evvvveryythingg throughout the hotel. Makes it really hard to sleep or watch non-English soeaking channels (that really sucked). The gym is OK, it did the job. The staff was helpful when it came to me trying to navigate around the city. So that was nice. However, upon checkout my card went on fraud lock because they swipped it too many times and instead of them charging my card when I could unlocked it (my cab was waiting and I had a train to catch) they had one of there employees (who was dressed in sweats) run me over to the ATM and get cash out. It was weird, sketchy, and unprofessional. Not to mention, the cab was charging me by the second after the hotel employee assured me several times that he wasn't charging, he was graciously waiting (what a crock). I finally got out to the cab and when I realized head charging I told the employee. He said he'd have the hotel pay for my cab. (I knew they had the cash, I just gave them xxx €). I waited x € later and just told the driver to go. I'd say my experience at hotel de molay was less than average. I would NOT stay here. The bad outweighs the Lisätietoja

My single room was small - but not smaller than my double room in New York. The bathroom is comfortable (essential bath). The people are nice - I would go back

Hotellet ligger godt i et liveligt og hyggelig område i Paris, hvor der er mange cafeer, små butikker og gallarier. I nærheden af hotellet ligger der stationen Republique, hvor mange metro linier kører. Fleste personale var gode til at tale engelsk og var meget venlige. Men værelset (503) var så lille, som man ikke kan åbne sine kufferter.. og det […] værste er, at badeværelset lugtede af kloak!! (Det gør nogle steder i byen, har jeg optaget efterhånden) Det har stort set ødelagt vores oplevelse på hotellet og grunden til, at vi giver hotellet denne lave bedømmelse. Lisätietoja
