a long way from place messena when finding the hotel, but close enough when we became familiar with the area. situated about midway between the train station (turn right after leaving the hotel, andd right again on rue gounod) at the station is to the right when one gets to the top of the street.. the breakfast was not included, and added €10 per person […] per meal, so it was an extra €80 for the two of us over the four days (a "one-off" breakfast was about €13, but if the breakfast was eaten every morning of the stay, it was €10 pppd. the variety of food available was quite good, it was a buffet breakfast, and there was plenty of various yogurts, cheeses, breads, cereal, drinks - tea coffee, etc. we would have preferred if the price of breakfast had been included in the b&b price. however, while one could buy breakfast in cafes closeby, it seemed to us that there wasn't difference in the eventual cost, although the cost would depend on what, and how much, one ordered. would i go back to that hotel?, yes, but it would depend on the price. the staff were very nice and helpful, and all had some degree of english. With a family of 4 it was comfortable and convenient.

We stayed in Room 8, which had been newly decorated. Very spacious family room, with seating area and separate rooms for bathroom and toilet. The location is good - less than 5 minutes to the beach/promenade, close to the pedestrian area and about 10 minutes from the station. We had a very nice 4 night stay and would reccommend this hotel.

Great location right in the middle between the central station and the beach. It's an easy walk to the old town. Staff is friendly and helpful. The main staircase in the hotel smelled bad, but as long as it does't smell in the room then it's ok.

I highly recommend the Hotel Brice - 3 blocks to beach, 15 minute walk to train station and plenty of restaurants in the area. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English.

We were remiss & had not taken on board that breakfast was not included, so we breakfasted out, which was no hardship & half the price. Also the private beach for the hotel was also an extra charge to sit on a sunbed. The hotel staff were very amenable & helpful.

Excellent location and good facilities Friendly staff and good service. Very good value for money bearing in mind Nice prices.

I stayed at the Nice Brice from the 11th to 14th of July 2011 and found the hotel perfect for our needs. We had no hesitation in booking a further 2 nights a few nights later when we chose to extend our stay in Nice. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly - to all, thank you. A couple of blocks back from the beach and easy distance from the bus stop to/from airport. We were so lucky as we were going to book at a 'big'name hotel and as we drove along the promenade we saw that this hotel was long way from the main part of town. The rooms were not the Ritz, but we did not book there expecting this. The price was very reasonable and the rooms larger than expected. The furnishings, whilst dated were comfortable. The first stay we were on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel (take note the lift goes to 3rd floor then had to take a flight of stairs) and this room was quiet. On our second stay we were on the third floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the front garden. We did not hear any unacceptable street noise however found the adjoining walls a bit thin and heard noise from the room next door. We loved the free wifi and the breakfast room was pleasant & breakfast was reasonable. Loved the outdoor garden area where one could eat breakfast, and at night very pleasant to have a nightcap from the bar inside the hotel. A very nice lounge area on the ground floor with a free to use computer with internet access. The hotel has access at a reduced rate to a private beach where we had a very relaxed day under the umbrellas. Please note though if you dont have a towel for the beach ask at the hotel to borrow a complimentary towel - use of one at the beach is an extra 5 euro! Small hotel convenient for walking to the old town, access to transport and away from the busiest roads. The comfort and cleanliness of the room and the quite outstanding courtesy and helpfulness of staff were plus points. Blev besviken att rummet var så litet. Vi hade bokat 7 nätter. Endast en hylla innanför dörren att lägga kläder o väskor på. Ingen garderob. Man fick gå in i rummet en och en för att komma förbi sängen. Bra frukost o fin trädgård.

Trivelig hotellpersonale med mulighet til å nyte frokosten ute. Uten å bli sjenert av traffikkstøy. Veldig sliten byggning og dårlig vedlikeholdt. Dårlig regnjøring over tid har kanskje vært med at det ikke lukter godt på rommet. Vi blev snabbt förtjusta i detta hotell. Fantastiskt trevlig personal. Bra läge med närhet till strand, city och tåg. Trevligt rum med rejäl säng, bra förvaring, bord med två stolar t ex. Bra städning. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Accueil excellent, parties communes de l'hôtel très jolies, jardin superbe. Malheureusement, chambre pas très agréable, pasde lampes de chevet, 2 grands lits ( inutile). salle de bains très bien.

Gyggelig hotel med fin hage. Veldig bra beligenhet iht strand sentrum. Eller et godt hotell godt over gjennomsnitt.

Utmerket beliggenhet. 5 minutter til stranden !0 minutter til gamlebyen. Parkeringsplass i parkeringsbygg (mot betaling). Utmerket Wi-Fi.

Hotellet kan absolutt anbefales. Beliggenheten var glimrende med kort vei til stranden og de sentrale deler av byen. Rommet vi hadde var romslig, rolig og godt rengjort. Frokosten var meget bra og servicen super. Vi kommer til å bestille samme hotell neste gang vi skal til Nice.
