We found the hotel to be very nice, once we got there. unfortunately the map that was provided on the hotel's web site indicated that the hotel was about 3 miles away from where it actually was and when we called the hotel to get new directions they really did not know how to get us back to the hotel. We picked this hotel because it had a free breakfast bar. It was good with the standard hot and cold items. The only complaint is the tv in the living room. Someone had messed with the settings and some strange channels not the standard channels were coming in. The description on Hotels.com said it had a dvd player. It did not. I took a suite -- which was beautiful. Comfy beds, 2 baths! Great. HOWEVER, the pool was crammed with 20+ splashing kids although it did calm down after 2 hours of noise. I'd like to see the pool room a smidgen bigger, with a jaccuzzi pool too... Still, the quietness of the room made up for it. I'd go again.

I love your hotels. But I had the night manager come up to my too my room because the people down stairs from me said my children were jumping when they were not. It was the people across the hall from us. When I tried to explain it to her she insisted it was us because what the people down stairs in room 111 said. I was In room 211. I actually had […] to invite her in to hear the noise because it sounded like upstairs but it was not. Come to find out it was across the hall. Because the. Children then were running in the hallway. I felt so embarrassed and offended. My children were laying down and they even felt hurt because they heard what she said & my children are not small they range from 15- 10 so there not babies. We stayed for one night - we were in town for a gymnastics competition for the kids. The pool was a welcome experience for the kids in the middle of winter. Room was very clean, very comfortable; staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast selection was pretty weak, and the quality of the food was only so-so (I'd prefer my eggs to actually taste […] like eggs). Among the nicest rooms I've had in my life. For a reasonable price, we stayed four days, were served breakfast and supper each night, and had the most gorgeous room (suite) ever! Hotel staff were very nice as well. Would I stay here again? You'd better believe it! We were in the area for a game at Yankee Stadium, and it was much cheaper to stay here […] than in NYC. We stayed four days and made "day trips" to various tourist attractions in the region. Well worth our money, and we will definitely try to stay at a Hilton Homewood again the next time we're on an extended vacation. Yes, you should stay here! Lisätietoja

A very pleasant surprise! Amazing value...Especially with the fantastic hot breakfast!

My husband and I were so amazed at the property and suite at Homewood Suites in Dover, New Jersey. We needed a decent night's rest and got it. The front desk clerk was friendly and alert to our needs. Quick check-in. Our stay here was less than half what we paid in New York and was so much nicer and spacious. We would definitely stay here again!

Check-in was quick & easy. I was given a brief overview of the services offered where I learned about "Welcome Home" dinner and the indoor pool,both of which were not mentioned when I booked. Nice surprises there. The room and hotel were very clean. Hurricane Irene was coming and the staff made sure everyone was aware of it and exit strategies and what […] to do in the event of lost power,etc.,etc. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices but the eggs were often a tad under cooked. Everything in the room worked well;the fridge the 2 burner stove top and microwave. Cable TV had around 50 channels to choose from and my sons watched Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. No option to rent on demand and no DVD player. The small details I mention in the title of this review are as follows:No "Privacy Please" placard for the door, A July event/dinner menu on the fridge,kind of stingy with the toilet paper. These are all things I could have asked for but I didn't. Another thing I did not think of when booking was to request a room on the first floor as I had two young children with me so I was constantly telling them to walk quietly.We stayed 5 days/nights and we all loved the room and the hotel. Location gets a 3 because you really can't turn left in and out of Commerce Rd. Come to find out, left turns are frowned upon in the entire state of New Jersey. Lisätietoja

Perfect for us. Since we got a chance to spend very little time at the hotel, we especially appreciated such a good value.

We stayed two weekend nights at the Homewood Suites. We didn't need to use the kitchen facilities, since there was a hot breakfast each morning and our other meals were planned out. Very nice King suite, I BR large bath, Sitting room with sleeper couch & kitchenette. Very clean, very nice. Great deal if needing a place for 3 and less expense than 2 rooms most places. Nice Bkfst idea, but the practice is problematic. Too much stuff with little room to put down your plate to prep. Hot food Ice cold by the time you sit as the A/C […] was too high. Make your own waffles were very frustrating, 1 not enough room, 2 poor instuctions, 3 they stuck every time. I wathced every one struggle. But other wise reasonable quality. The staff was nice. The pool was good enough for my 10 year old to enjoy, for hours. The room was clean. The only downside was the continental breakfast. They didn't have a good selection and it was just ok. The bbq grill outside was convenient and accessible to use as well. Overall, a good experience.

We got a room for 2 nights stay, but because we liked it soo much, we extended our stay for another night. The hotel was soo beautiful and Clean. The first night we stayed, we took a dip in their indoor pool. the water was warm, and the area was really clean. We had a one bedroom suite for 2 adults and 2 kids. Having 2 tv's in the room helped out with […] the kids, since we didnt have to fight over the remote. the bed was REALLY comfortable, and the pull out couch for the kids was not bad either. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent. it consist of eggs, waffles, cereal, pancakes.etc..etc.. there was plenty of seating avaliable, including the outside patio. overall, we found the hotel to be very accomidating, and a very relaxing stay. We traveled from Texas and stayed in this hotel for over 20 days. We like everything. I wish breakfast and evening complimentary food had more variety.

Good size suites, clean, good selection for breakfast buffet. Quiet area but can hear people walking above if on a lower floor.

Big room, with kitchen and sofa. Comfortable.

The address doesn't come up in our GPS so we called and the young lady gave us an alternate address, after that it was easy to find. Rockaway Mall, Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us and many other stores right across the street. After about an hour from checking in, front desk called just to make sure everything was ok and if we were happy with our room, […] I thought that was a plus! The room was great but the room at Homewood Suites in Princeton, NJ was much better. Nonetheless, the furniture is top notch and the bed is very comfortable though the sheets were a bit rough. Overall, good value and I would def stay there again.
