"Good hotel, going to other areas took time"
Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu helmi 26, 2013We spent three nights in Hotel Bleibtreu in Berlin. Hotel was just fine as others wrote in their previous reviews. Some cons still… our shower’s warm and cold were not mixed. Room was quite hot, I turned heaters a bit colder and it was ok after that. Breakfast was superb! I remember it was 16 euros. Personnel were nice. Man from reception kindly checked us to flight back and printed also boarding cards. Area was ok, a lot of expensive shops nearby. We travelled a lot to other (more interesting) areas in Berlin which took time. This was our first time in Berlin so couldn’t understand how big the city was and how important it is to pick the area where you plan to spend most of our time. Despite Berlin’s great public transportation system(S-bahns,U-bahns,trams, buses, RE-trains) it takes time. From Hotel Bleibtreu to S-bahn station Sayvignoplatz (nice area itself also) was only 5 mins away. Bus 109 just 2 mins walk took us from and to Tegel airport. I would recommend the hotel itself.

"Erinomainen hotelli"
Erittäin hyvä hotelli Itä-Berliinissä. HInta-laatu-suhde on erinomainen. Hotelli on suuri, siisti ja moderni usean tähden hotelli, joka kuuluu Vienna International hotelliketjuun. Huoneen hinta oli edullinen ja siihen sisältyi runsas buffetaamiainen, joka täytti kaikki odotukset. De Luxe- huone oli erittäin tilava ja viihtyisä, kylpyhuoneessa oli erillinen […] suihku ja kylpyamme. Hotellivieraat saivat lisäksi käyttää ilmaiseksi hotellin kylpylää, jossa oli kaksi erilaista saunaa ja poreallas. Erilaisia hoitoja ja hierontaa olisi ollut myös saatavilla lisämaksusta. Hotelli ei ole aivan ydinkeskustassa, mutta sijaitsee aivan Landsberger Alleen s-bahn- aseman vieressä, josta pääsee liikkumaan helposti ja nopeasti joka puolelle Berliiniä. The hotel has beautiful rooms; however, Orange phone reception was horrible, hotel WiFi kept dropping, during our 3 day stay there were always long lines at reception because there was never more than 3 people working the desk... when there are terminals for at least 6! "Lovely hotel, not so brilliant neighbourhood."
The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. I booked a standard room with breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Basically, don't plan on having lunch because if you take advantage […] of breakfast you won't need it! Antipasti that included cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. "Next to swimming arena, trains and tram"
We chose this hotel to get our daily swimming exercise in the huge swimming arena next door and still have easy access to the city centre by train and tram. That worked beautifully and we loved the huge suite rooms that only cost a little extra. Breakfast buffet was busy but very well stocked and the hotel desk was very helpful. The sky bar on the 14th floor is great, with large windows giving great views across the city while you relax with a cocktail or a cold beer. "Fantastic hotel with great facilities"
This was an amazing hotel and fantastic location for the u bahn and S Bahn. The breakfast was great plenty to choose from. Had wonderful time in this hotel, enjoyed every minute. Excellent rooms, neat, fresh and comfortable. It was freezing cold outside and room felt a bit cool at times, but that was minor issue. Excellent breakfast, best that I've seen in long time (and I travel frequently). Andel's exceed my expectations and was great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only annoyance was a snapping sound from the walls at night. The reception also charged me for a mineral water I did not consume but agreed to refund the amount when I pointed out the error. The hotel was fabulous right fromthe checking in process. The only complaint i have as a non smoker that the out on the red carpet entrance you have to walk through an array of smokers which is quite unpleasatn. This hotel was perfect! The rooms are well designed so make great use of space and everything was in working order (climate control/tv/speakers in bathroom). The staff are helpful and polite. Hotel Andels was excellent and had a very comfortable stay. They were efficient and when we had to check out super early at 4am and couldn't make it for the 6.30am breakfast, they even made us a little lunchbox to take away to the airport.
