Kaupungissa Cobh, Ireland sijaitseva Commodore Hotel on rannalla ja lähellä kohteita Titanic Trail, Queenstown Story ja Cobh Museum. Lähistöllä ovat myös Cobhin katedraali ja St. Colman's Cathedral.

Hotelli sijaitsi toisella puolella jokea kuin keskusta, mutta kävellen keskustaan kesti noin kolme minuuttia. Hotelli näytti vaatimattomalta kadulle päin, mutta sisäpiha ja hotelli sisältä oli tyylikäs ja idyllinen. Huoneet olivat isoja ja todella siistejä ja hyväkuntoisia. Palvelu hotellissa oli ystävällistä ja tasokasta. Suosittelen hotellia mielelläni!

"Not very good!"
This hotel is in serious need of renovation. Things look old and used and esspecially the bathroom in the room was not very nice at all. Breakfast could have been much better. But the location - if wanting to see Cobh - is very fine.

Had an excellent stay. An old building but well maintaned. The room was clean and very comfortable. The old windows allow in wind and noise from the street but nothing too bad. The food was tasty and reasonable and the staff were very friendly.
"cheap and convient......"
check in was fine,we were booked room only so had 2 pay for breakfast in the morning which we thought we could pay for when we checked out but the waitress insisted we payed for it as soon as we finished. thought it quiet rude.

I stayed at the commodore thismonth ( november), the food was very good, the service was very good and the staff were also very good, good value and good service, i would recommend it to anyone,

The hotel was excellent although we had to find parking in the street as the garage was full. That was not easy. Other than that, everyone was helpful, the breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed our night.
"Quite happy"
This is an old fashioned hotel which has not had a "make-over". Basically it is very good and staff are excellent. The cost of staying is also very competitive. Despite its "old empire" image the Commodore is a fine hotel.

"Hotel Commodore - great sea front view"
The hotel is conveniently located on the sea front but parking is a little bit of a nightmare particularly if it's raining. It is roadside pay and display with the hotel parking a few minutes drive away operated by a fob barrier which you have to collect from hotel reception (20 euro dep). The hotel is quite old fashioned but has everything you need […] including spacious rooms, a film for children 6.30-9.30pm each evening, restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly, the bar had entertainment on the 2 nights we were there traditional irish music and a singer. The lifts are a little rickety and we had an unexpected telephone call to our room at 4.50am so unplugged phone after that, otherwise if you can cope with a worn look a great place to stay, particularly for families. "The Commdore - Experience a Bit of History"
There isn't a better location in Cobh! Parking is on the corner, in an off street lot. Parking is free (after paying a E20 deposit, returned at check-out). Previous reviews are only half correct about linens, the sheets are fine, but the bedspreads are old. The furniture is worn, but this is overshadowed by the old world charm of the building and hospitality […] of the staff. If you don't care for old things maybe this isn't the place for you. Remember that this hotel sheltered the survivors of the Lucitania so a stay here is to experience Irish history and that is priceless. And the staff is just plain nice. Lisätietoja

Wonderful european style hotel. Lovely view of the harbour. Friendly staff. Great food. Walking distant to rail station, pubs, and resturants. The community is rich with history along with fantastic sites and tours.
"smoking smell and loud night club"
The staff were nice but we got the last room and it was down a dark, smoke smelling hall (other areas of the hotel seemed fine). The room also smelled of smoke and the bed blankets were visibly old and in poor condition. At night the night club was loud from inside our room and ended at about 1:50am. The cot that was provided was of top quality as was […] the linens and towels. The location is good, the parking is limited but good, and the breakfast is nice. "Loved this hotel"
This hotel is in a beautiful location, the hotel itself is in the process of being refurbished and some of the aspects of it are a little tired. The bathroom in my room was a little sad and would need updating. The views are fantastic and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. I for one will certainly be using this hotel again.
