The reception was helpful. Pool was ok. The free breakfast was in the restaurant, and only offered pancakes and sausages (not buffet style). The room was clean but had a funny smell to it. At night there were drunken people outside in the courtyard making ++ noise. I don't think I would stay there again.
There was a fight in the hotel and police arrested people

The front desk staff were very friendly! Sadly though, the room itself was not too good. There was quite a bit of mold on the wall in the shower, the beds were old and used and the desk chair was broke. Not sound proof at all.

We layered the bathroom floor in towels because it had the appearance of filth. The whole room and experience was less than anything I would expect for a hotel in Fargo.

There was bugs in the bathroom we were not given any choice of breakfast waitdress rude. Bed hard to sleep on Will not stay there again
the pool was nice. The room seemed in need of maintanence. Many little things but nothing big. Not the cleanest hotel either.There are many other choices in Fargo. We will try somewhere next time.

hot breakfast was very limiting to only 2 sausage links and 2 pancakes and 1 drink no choice of cold breakfast. No tea packet was available if one desire's it one had to pay extra. "good hotel"
this was a great hotel, i slept good had a great time in the lounge the night before. The only negative i had was breakfast in the morning. It wasnt a continental buffet type like at a chain hotel. it had a sit down breakfast to two microwave pancakes and two microwaved sausages. NOT good. "Never, never, never!"
Never, never, never again will we stay at this hotel.... For some reason they sprayed the white bedsheets with "fabreeze" there were huge blue stains everywhere in the bed!!! We slept in our clothes, we will NEVER stay at this hotel again...

Room was nice size and hotel was quiet. Bathroom had mold on ceiling and down the walls. They need to install fans in the bathroom to keep the mold down.

While we chose this hotel for convenient location to Concordia College and good rates, I would drive further and pay more to avoid the terrible management and lack of service. No roll-away beds after we were allowed to request one online, so one person had to sleep on the floor. No amenities common to hotel rooms today (lotion, etc.) and the hot breakfast […] that came with the room was good until we were asked to pay for an item that supposedly came with the meal. The manager of the restaurant argued this on a technicality that the 5 year old didn't order the drink HIMSELF, but an adult did, and the drink was then counted as a second drink for that adult so therefore, extra money. It was ridiculous. This place is out to get anything extra they can. He ended the discussion by loudly throwing us out of the restaurant. I would NEVER recommend this hotel - several other incidents of very unhelpful front desk episodes occurred. Since it was Family Weekend at NDSU, we were lucky to find a room at the last minute, but we were somewhat disappointed with the hotel. The outside of the building was not well-kept or welcoming. There was no ice machine anywhere near our room. There was a large, very wet spot on the carpet in front of the refrigerator. The bathroom had no place to […] put toiletries or hooks to hang clothes. We stayed there because it was the cheapest on a Labor Day weekend. The price that we paid was way overpriced. The room looked dirty and the beds were the size of my kids twin beds. When we got into our room i had noticed a ant crawling on our table under the tv - i didnt think anything of it right away - we went to bed and i had ants crawling all over me all night long - in the morning i told my husband about it and he saw them too - on the nightstand- desk - bathroom floor - it was disgusting- we complained to the girl working […] and she said she would tell her manager - i told her i would call the health inspector if i dont recieve some sort of compensation for that room - it was a horrible night - havent heard a word - i think i will call the health inspector soon - that was uncalled for and they could have taken care of something for me at the time i complained - Lisätietoja
"Did not match pictures on line!"
This may have been a grand hotel in its day but is now run down and poorly maintained! After finding crickets in my bathroom and the toilet did not flush properly i asked for a different room the second night. In this room the remote for the TV was inoperable, the floors were staind and had a funny odor to it!

staff was somewhat unprofessional but worked hard to be accommodating. The bathtub bottom was dirty. The outside of the hotel was very uninviting and seedy looking. It looked like some Las Vegas off-strip motel.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is starting to show it's age but it has a nice hot breakfast and a nice bar with appetizers served everyday at 5:00. Beer was 2 for 1 also. The location is fine. It didn't take long to get to the mall. All in all a good choice.

A lovely surprise- the kids loved the pool and the breakfast is one of the best we have had while travelling. Found the front desk staff to be very helpful, and friendly.

This hotel is just "ok" but I feel like I paid for more than "ok". The front desk person when I check in was totally unhelpful and slow. He seemed like I was a burden. The room was "ok" nothing special. Overall this place is mediocre at best.

The place was filled with drunken casino guests. The hallways were poorly lit, the decor extremely dated. The rooms were clean but had a real funky smell, as did all the hallways. "The Vista --definitely worth a second look"
When we drove up to the Vista after having to ask at another hotel where exactly it was, my daughter said it was "kind of sketchy"...but turned out to be exceptionally perfect. We wanted a clean, safe, reasonable place for a mother-daughter weekend. The only thing that should be said is that the hotel itself is totally away from the mall. "Bad Stay"
I found the staff to be very rude and conserned about themselves rather than the customer. When asking for towels as my room did not get cleaned I was told that if he gave towels to everyone that wanted them he would run out. Sorry about that it is nice to dry off after a shower. Shower needed to have work done on it and the carpets were dirty.

Awesome employees. Each employee we came into contact with was most helpful, enjoyable, polite, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. "Vista Inn & Suites in Fargo-Excellent Location"
It all started when I checked in, they explained where our room was, but sort of failed to include that you had to go outside to get into the room. I was not happy, as I did not know this fact and I did not feel comfortable to walk outside in my bathing suit to go swimming. I was very concerned about my security at night considering the hotel was on […] a main street in town. We get into the room and it seems to have an odor that reminds you of old things. Everything was in workable condition, but you could tell certain things were in need of maintenance. There were many things rusting in the bathroom. The pillows on the beds were very flat. The TV remote wouldn't work all the time either. The key to open the door seemed really outdated and didn't always want to work. I also found the hotel to not be the cleanest. The head boards were dusty (one even had a popsicle stick left there) and windows were smudged up and dirty. Being a housekeeper myself, these things were uncalled for. This hotel is in need of updating. Our clothes smelled funky when we left which was very disgusting. The breakfast was terrible. The hot tub paint is chipped and horrible looking. We would not stay there agian!
