This is one of the older resorts I have stayed in, in Punta Cana and is looking a little tired. Other resorts have more in the way of restaurants, and amenities. The fish restaurant was only serving Paella as a fish dish on the day I went for lunch. The room itself was fine and clean. the beach is good, and extends to other resorts on either side. A very laid back resort ... Very nice pool & beach. This Adults only resort was absolutely worth it.

I'll start with the negative. My room was on the first floor and the patio faced the pool area. The pro is that you have a good view of the pool the con is that the patio which has two sliding doors, only had one lock. This means that for my entire stay, my other sliding door was unlocked and could be opened by anyone. My door did not have a peephole […] or a chain or bar. This made it a bit unnerving when you'd hear a knock but not be able to see for yourself who was at your door. The housekeeping lady would knock once maybe twice but before I had a chance to respond, she was opening my room door. The room has some sort of mildew smell to it, probably because you can't open the sliding door (there's no screen and bugs/lizards will come in). The positives. The staff is VERY friendly and accomodating (even if you can understand each other). The grounds are well manicured. The food is good if you enjoy caribbean food or are open to new things. The entertainment crew is good. They are funny and definitely do their best. The club Arieto is okay. If you go parasailing, I'd suggest you use the boat with the blue parachute instead of the multi-color one. Regardless of who you choose, be sure to check the equipment. The multi-color parachute had a bar that was torn and I heard it rip some more while I was in the air. It was a very frightening experience and I was very disappointed with how the "captain" responded to me telling him that the bar didn't feel safe. The hook on the bar also does NOT lock thus you have to be careful where you grip the cord because you can easily misplace your finger open the hook. Bring plenty of cash or enough so you DON'T have to use the ATM on the property. The withdrawl fee for the ATM (not your bank, but the ATM itself) is about $70. Yes, you read that correctly. My friend wanted to take out $100 (US) and was getting charged an additional $70 (US). Needless to say, she didn't make that withdrawl. Aside from what I said above, everything else Lisätietoja

This is a wonderful resort , Went away for a weekend getaway , the service was excellent the grounds are pretty and the rooms are spacious. food was average and the great thing for me that there were no Kids. Drinks were plentiful and the hotel staff very attentive Drive from the airport was smooth and i would definately return to this resort again […] . Lisätietoja

Our last night at the Sivory pretty much summed up our whole experience. We started off with dinner at one of the restaurants with great food and friends we had met some days before and had a wonderful time. They were the only other Americans there, that would make 2 rooms out of maybe 25 that were not European. We head back to our room to discover […] a bottle of champagne and a bath that was drawn with fresh rose petals in and around the 2 person tub all lit by candlelight. The thunder and lighting only sparked the fireworks that then ensued on the last night of our honeymoon. Loved the place. Only downside can also be seen as an upside. I recently took a weekend vacation to Punta Cana Princess and was happily surprised. The price was very reasonable for 2 nights with 4 adults. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly. Everyone spoke english which made it easier for my parents whom do not speak a word of spanish. My only qualm was the food. The buffet […] that was offered was great, had a mix of dominican dishes along with many other choices. The specialty restaurants were not great. Or even very good. If we had known and had another night we probably would have just stayed with the buffet again. You do have the option to eat at 2 other hotels within the Princess group but we did not have time to try them out. The best part of the hotel is that it is adults only which I had forgotten until our second day there. It was lovely and quiet. There are mainly couples or larger families. The only thing missing is at the airport we though we have transportation to the hotel they told us that we have to do by expedia we never been inform about that if we knew that we dont have that bad small time at the airport . about the rest was perfect

We usually go to hotels with a 4 and above star rating, but we decided to go to the Punta Cana Princess because of the price and the consistently good reviews. I can see why people give this resort such good reviews. This resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We loved it.

it seem is nice with no kids option cause is perfect to take a nice rest

Go there as a group. Just a couple who want to have fun and party, not the place to be. Mostly europen older crowd as a group. Pictures looked better than the actuall place. Not a place I'll go again.

We stayed at this hotel the last 3 days of our vacation in the Dominican Republic. There were 4 a la carte restaurants and one buffet. Some of the a la carte restaurants were closed every night and the night of the Dominican buffet, all of them were closed. It was really disappointing to be stuck with so few options. With the exception of ground transportation not included, the hotel was absolutely fabulous! During our second night, they asked us to complete a survey and I asked for a specific dish, hoping that we would see it on our next trip there; it was prepared the next morning! Totalmente satisfechos con el hotel, atencion, playa, comidas, tragos. Realmente muy recomendable.

O Hotel possui boas instalações, quartos amplos, bela piscina, mas precisa melhorar o nível de serviços e um pouco a alimentação. A praia é com areias brancas e o mar com a cor que só o caribe tem. O Concierge e a Recepção são muito fracos e com informações equivocadas. A Equipe de recreação, muito simpática, mas com poucas atividades. No geral os serviços […] de garçons são bons, mas estão de olho na gorjeta. Aliás, não pense que por ser um All-inclusive você pode deixar o dinheiro em casa, as gorjetas são um pedido frequente. Com relação à alimentação, a variedade dos cardápios para café e almoço não são grandes e após algum tempo enjoam. Em 8 dias que ficamos lá as frutas não apresentavam bom aspecto. No jantar havia variação de buffet com temas e alguns restaurantes temáticos, francês, italiano e tex-mex com comida boa. O restaurante central merecia uma melhor ventilação ou ar condicionado. As distâncias são grandes. Se tiver dificuldade de locomoção, peça a ajuda do maleteiro. O carro de transporte de malas foi a salvação, pois não havia outros meios de apoio.
