I was not impressed with the check in process. My reservation that I made on the phone could not be confirmed at check in and was a long process to correct. Also check in was through the gas station and not at the door marked hotel lobby. There was no vending machine in the hotel so if I wanted a soda I would have had to go to the gas station next door. […] Not convenient. The remote for the TV did not work. If a lightfixture FULL of dead flies, less than clean sheets, FIVE hotel devices to plug in (plus your own) and only 1.5 working receptecles, water pressure that dribbles AND tastes like it was pumped from the nearest creek and the insecurity of thinking they may have double billed your credit card because they dooked up your check in is worth paying […] the 10 bucks a night LESS than you'd pay at another hotel to you then stay here. Me I'll never see this hotel again driving less than 70 MPH. With decent management that cared about returning customers this would be a nice little hotel. Room had everything we needed (working microwave & refrigerator, also the wifi was good). Because we booked on hotels.com we got free breakfasts from the restaurant within very close walking distance which was AMAZING (large and absolutely delicious)! Only complaint is that they didn't come in and makeup the room when we hung the sign on the door to […] do so and if we wanted anything brought to the room (soap, towels) it didn't come. Super nice staff! Very accommodating and friendly.

Personnel are very friendly and helpful. They are quick to respond to requests for assistance, directions or advise on location for a pharmacy that i really needed. I stayed for 4 nights and it was an enjoyable experience.

Terrible! We pre paid in advance with our reservation indicating NON-SMOKING room and when we got up to the 2nd fl. we could already smell the smoke and the card key didn't work. We went down to the front desk which was in a different building (1 red flag), to get the key activate again and also to MAKE SURE WE HAVE A NON-SMOKING room and the front […] desk again assured us that is was. Low and behold we opened the door and this was a SMOKING ROOM!!! With an ASHTRAY right on the table next to the bed. (2 red flag). We then made sure that the sheets on the bed and towels were clean because at this point who knew what was going/growing on in here. So I'll rate the overall stay as a 1.5 and the.5 only for the free breakfast which again was yet in another building (3 red flag). OK, enough of this place. Won't be back. Lisätietoja

We had no water in our room for a day and a half!!! Total inconvenience and we kept getting told it would be another hour and a half and still no water through the next day. Not happy at all

was travelling from chicago airport to memphis, and booked this motel to break the long journey. when we arrived late evening (it was dark) i couldn't beleive i'd booked this motel for my elderly mother and myself. the area was creepy, i had to LOCK my mum in the car whilst i went into the GAS STATION to check into our room across the forecourt. on […] entering the motel, i got the feeling we were the only ones staying there. the room / bed were clean enough, not that we got much sleep as we were afraid to. NO coffee machine in room, we couldn;t wait to get away in the morning. DON'T GET ME WRONG, THIS WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO STAY IF YOUR A MAN, i think it's no more than a truck stop. Lisätietoja

I expected worse due to other reviews.,but The staff was very helpful & friendly. Overall the place wasn't dirty, but had an odor to it. The room wasn't bad, but when you find toe nail clippings on the carpet that was a bit disgusting. The bathroom was not dirty, but just seemed worn out. Unprofessional staff. It's just the counter of a gas station. Had problem with 2 reservations for the same room. They wouldn't fix it and charged for 2 rooms. Then they wouldn't even give a receipt.

The hotel was clean and kept well, but do not ask for extra towels. They never showed up. Luckily I had packed a couple of extra. Considering we booked for 4 people there should be 4 towels and wash rags.

We just needed a decent place to stay off the highway. Hotel was clean. Breakfast at the restaurant across the parking lot was included. The room had a microwave and fridge for snack. No complaints!

The Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The internet connection was the absolute worst. I chose this room for the good location for my business, but the internet connection was crucial. I had to sit out in the lobby and there was not a convenient power source. Great location for us, a long ride from St. Louis, just the right distance from St. Louis to leave around 6 and sleep before going on to Michigan. The room was clean, non smoking. Only complaint is that we were told there was a voucher for a continental breakfast at a nice diner. No one mentioned it to us, but we had breakfast there anyway and it was […] great, everything you want in a diner breakfast, eggs, good coffee, Eggs benedict, different pancakes, bacon etc. and it was fast. The hotel is in a complex including a large gas station with good prices, the diner and the motel. The price through hotel.com was probably 1/3 the list price. The hotel manager, was located across a breezeway in the convenience store attached to the gas station so there was all night service. That said, this is a bare bones place-TV-wireless but nothing for kids. It is next to the Illnois-Michigan State park which is very historically interesting with a lock from the old illinois-michigan canal and a nice place to eat. We will stay there again if our travel plans are the same (ie late night departure from St. Louis on our yearly trip to Michigan Lisätietoja
