This was our first stay in Abu Dhabi and we were very satisfied. We were given one of the newly renovated rooms and we were very happy. The size and comfort of the room was great. Staff couldn't be any friendlier or more helpful. Would recommend.

A great hotel in the center of town with many restaurant opportunities. Housekeeping wasn't always consistent with the room makeup and the room ac controls weren't responsive as I would expect from this establishment. It would definitely behoove you to be a Priority Club member as it affords several discounts during your stay.

The hotel is very good, excellent position, the restuarants are good quality, the staff are friendly and helpful. We have been staying in the hotel off and on for twenty years, it's still as fresh and well kept as ever. I'll be back soon.

nothing special, and somewhat overpriced, given the available hotels in abu dhabi and their quality. spacious but unstylish rooms, pushy hotel staff (the night shift - the day shift was a little better), nice pool and central locations, but nothing stands out.

I would stay again. I enjoyed the pillow menu. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was no problem getting a taxi to places I wanted to go.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel is central location, which makes it perfect for sightseeing, walking and shopping.

I decided to stay at this hotel because the reviews were very good. I was not dissappointed, the hotel was superb, from staff, food, cleaniness. I could not fault it in any way and good value for money too. I would definately stay here again, if I were to return to Abu Dhabi. SUPERB 10 OUT OF 10.

Checked in at 1am, people were friendly and helpful. Would not allow us to lift a finger. All was prepared, no surprises or trouble. Check out was with a smile and "hope you come back again." Lovely people and very nice indeed. Pleasant surprise.

Very happy with the hotel, the place was spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful, knowlegeable and courteous at all times. The location is good as well with plenty of amenities close by and the rooms insulate the road noise very well. Was originally going to stay in Dubai but was far happier in the end to have chosen the CP in Abu Dhabi as a base. […] I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and it would be my first choice if I was staying in the area again. It was downtown and near to many shops and restaurants plus it had a nice bar - which unfortunately was undergoing renovations at the time so we couldn't have the pub lunch on Friday - and it had several nice restaurants = esp the Italian one where the food and ambiance were great. It was not so clean and up to date as I would wish - the bathroom smelled […] old and the chairs and table were a bit dated and uncomfortable. The TV did not have loud enough volume for us and the selection of channels was only ok. The sauna in the ladies area was also broken and we never did see a lounge for Priority Club members but the breakfast buffet was pretty good. My stay at the Crowne Plaza was perhaps the most pleasant experience I have had in recent years. The staff was extremely hospitable and I felt very welcomed from every staff member. After a loud spoken warning of a fire alarm requesting an immediate evacuation, I proceeded down one of the emergency stairs from the 11th floor. On the ground floor, people were still being checked in. I asked what was happening and was told there had been a leakage of water in the basement and that there was no fire. There had not been an announcement […] that the alarm was over and I was very unhappy about the situation. On the last night of our stay, we went for a meal in the Chinese restaurant and had a very disappointing meal. The wine of our choice - a Chile Cabernet Sauvignon - was not available and we had a Chile Merlot that was very poor quality and should not have been on the wine list, even as a "House" choice. The red snapper fish was not available, and the alternative - a salmon dish - was well below standard. The spring rolls were tough and unappetising. The hotel is located in city centre and nearby area is convenient. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful except the front desk staff who did not smile or show his friendly attitude to me when I was checking in. The room was alright, quite spacious, clean and tidy.

We booked a standard room and on arrival were upgraded to a Club room, courtesy of the hotel! On the first night we had a small issue with the bathtub, then required more toiletries and then wanted one more duvet. In all three occasions, there was someone at our room to assist within a maximum of 3 minutes! Everyone were extremely helpful and attentive […] with a smile 24/7. They made us feel than we were taken care of to the max. The room was huge and they arranged it according to our prior requests via hotels.com. The location (Hamdan street) is central which is great. Certainly 4 star. Excellent central location and pool. I told them my major concern was failure to include breakfast buffet in the nightly rate. Is an expensive extra but plenty of cheaper eating places nearby for breakfast and other meals.Staff friendly .Room safe is free,5 minute walk to the corniche.Spotlessly clean.

Excellent Crowne Plaza property (I've stayed in many). Very good Club level (3 floors). Excellent variety of restaurants, bars and activities. Extremely friendly and accomodating staff. Centrally located, but Abu Dhabi is not quite the "modern" city that is Dubai. Be sure to do Ferarri World and the F1 track at Yas Island. The best asset of this hotel is the 5 star customer service. The rooms have been remodeled and did not feel outdated as earlier posts implied. The lobby was still undergoing renovation in March 2011. There is an "anything, anytime" button on the phone which worked nicely both times I pressed it. Very friendly staff and good location. Restaurants in the hotel were great! Hotel was showing some aging but renovating was going on. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Very good value for money!

Extremely helpful at reception and all the stuff were so lovely, pleasant and helpful. I recommend staying here to anyone - it was fantastic and so reasonable priced. The breakfast selection was incrediable, such wonderful variety and all very fresh.

The Crowne Plaza is ideally situated in downtown Abu Dhabi and offers good 4/5 star facilities. The layout is a little strange with the restaurants being on the 9th floor but that does nothing to spoil the enjoyment of the hotel. Everything was very much as expected for a business hotel.

Hotel comodo in centro. Vicino a tutte le grandi catene alimentari perciò non avrete problemi per il cibo. Fermata del bus sotto l'albergo sia per la moschea che per il marina mall. Sicuramente a abu Dhabi ci sono alberghi più belli e di design. Questo è rimasto agli anni '90 ma se trovate un offerta buona vale la pena. Ottimo il ristorante orientale […] dell'albergo. Vi consiglio di farvi la tessere priority club che da diritto a sconti nei due ristoranti. La piscina nel rooftop è piccolina ma gradevole, con una jacuzzi bella calda! Se volete il mare non è il giusto albergo perché bisogna prendere il taxi per una buona spiaggia (meglio il jumeira o Hilton!) però se volete visitare la città la location è 10 e lode. Se il vs pacchetto non comprende la colazione, sappiate che davanti c'è starbucks! Unica nota negativa wifi libero solo nelle aree comuni, in camera è a pagamento! Lisätietoja

Schöne große Zimmer, großes Bad mit allen notwendigen Toilettenartikeln, tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit schönem Ausblick auf die Stadt. Service am Empfang, beim Frühstück, an der Bar, am Pool etc. war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend! Allein deswegen jederzeit wieder!
