we stayed at the holiday inn rochester for two nights,and although the facilities are very good ,ie swimming pool , restaurant .the stay was ruined due to neighbouring room making a noise throught the nite. i think the walls are made of paper,be warned!

Good hotel however situated on a main road, so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back at time of booking!

We were so pleased with this hotel and the facilities. My Partner loved the Gym and everything was so clean and tidy. Loved the little fridge and other extras. Nice to have a smoking room to as it meant we did not have to go outside so could relax more. Nicely situated away from the other non smoking too, and fantastic food. this is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel as we found the hotel clean and tidy the first time, the customer service is very good, and as the hotel is close to were our son lives, we find it's location convenient for our needs. my one criticism is the price of the food, my wife had a wrap and i had a sandwich which we were charged over […] £15 for them, we didn't eat at the hotel after that. Excellent Hotel and very friendly staff

Good enough for a one night stay, room too small for longer. Pity sandwich service finished at 6.00pm as we would have liked one later and had to go over to Asda. Bar price very steep, again would bring in if we stay again. Reception staff welcoming and helpful.

I stay in the area quite often have used this hotel many times. I cant say I have ever liked it but its always been OK and handy for where I am working. I am not one for complaining but sometimes its just good to get things off your chest. The rooms here are some of the smallest I have ever stayed in and like many Holiday Inn’s it is desperate to have […] a refit and some money spent on it. The addition of a new Holiday Inn logo and shower curtain (regular Holiday Inn customers well know what I mean) is just not enough to warrant the prices charged at this hotel. My main issues with my last stay was the amount of hairs in the bathroom of which I am sure not all if any were mine. This by the way was directly after the room had been cleaned. My second issues was the attitude of the bar staff. I fully understand they can only serve one customer at a time however they had a very clever way of showing me how uninterested they were in me. They were very very slow and several times ignored my completely. All it needed was a smile or “sorry to keep you” and I would have been happy. The service at this hotel is always good. The only quibble I had on this occasion was that the shower dripped a lot which you could hear. Otherwise a very comfortable stay!

Both me and my boyfriend had an excellent 3 nights stay in the Holiday Inn - Rochester. No problems at all. Would reccomend it to anyone - in fact - planning my next stay there for July this year.

This hotel has had some mixed reviews. I had a 7 & 2 yr old and we thought the hotel was excellent. It was very busy but everybody made an effort to help us. It was clean and tidy throughout and the staff helped quickly in a problem we had. We used it before travelling onto Europe. Would advise anybody to stay there.

The front desk staff were amazing! The restaurant was lovely. However, the entire hotel is tired...it needs massive refurbishment. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty. The sofa bed & desk chair were very dirty as well. I couldn't wait to end my stay at this hotel. I wouldn't encourage anyone to stay here.

Staff friendly but service very slow. We asked for a further pillow at 5pm but despite 2 further calls it didn't arrive by 10.30pm. We then went to reception and told front of house staff we would wait there for them to bring one! Also we had an intruder in our room at 6.30am !! Hotel was in great position, was a little nervous at 1st when i saw that it shared the same entrance as Rochester airport, but its a small private plane affair and i don't think that in 3 days we saw more than one plane take off! Rooms had everything you could want and anything that wasn't there the friendly staff soon brought to us. Drinks and food […] were expensive but to be expected. Breakfast was lovely really couldn't have asked for more. The leisure facilities that the hotel offers were of a good standard too, we swam every day but the later in the day we went the worser the condition of the changing rooms got!
