Castle Rock Indoor Water Park Resort - Branson

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 6 grandkids and their parents! What a joy it was for us! The service was great and the staff was so helpful.We thought it was wonderful to get on elevator and go to waterpark! We would highly recommend this to anyone! Happy Grandparents from Ar.

Booked a room to check out space as we have exactly 6 members and usually get stuck having to get 2 rooms. This rook had 2 queen beds and nook that held a set of bunk beds, with their own flat screen tv. Of course, this hotel does have a 2 story waterpark which kept the other families and their kids scrambling up and down the hallways. This is not […] a problem as the rooms are surprisingly quiet. There is a good amount of room available, in the room so that you are not cramped. You have actual "elbow" room which was very nice. The hotel is in a good location, a good deal away from the main drag, setting back on one of the side roads. However, it is near one of the main intersections and you have easy access in and out. We did not have much interaction with the staff aside from checking in and out, but they were very friendly and polite. The lady who checked us in was extremely charming and nice. I would stay there again because the staff was so great. We had one small problem with the ac unit in our room but it was easily fixed and was back in working order in no time. Now, onto the best part about this hotel... at least our room. It had a shower with great water pressure and full size toilets. We had an awesome time at Castle Rock after being very disappointed by Welk Resort. We felt Castle Rock was an excellent experience and New Year party was the highlight of our trip for the children.

My family loved the water park will stay there again very nice place

We stayed here in December and it was very cold. I was under the impression that this was a fairly new hotel in Branson, but the Atrium rooms are old and rather dingy. It was clean enough, but the amenities were not at all what I expected. We had to go across the parking lot to the water park, so we really could have saved money by staying in a cheaper […] hotel and buying a day pass to the water park since we had to pack up our swimsuits and clothes and change in the other building anyway. This might be an ok arrangement when it's warm outside and you can just walk up the hill and back to your room wet, but not when it's cold. The building we stayed in did not even have an ice machine and the side of the building closest to the water park did not have a stairwell, so you had to walk to the other side of the building when coming back from the water park. Initial room was dirty (crumbs on table, hadn't been vacuumed) when we complained, the manager upgraded us to the Tower and it was much better!!! Would'nt recommend the Atrium, but had no problems with the Tower.

First and foremost let me get this off of my chest, we booked an "atrium" room and unless the definition of the word atrium has drastically changed overnight then I believe the word for the room we were booked into is "motel" not atrium. Besides the room had a very noticeable odor about it. I then complained to the hotels dot com customer service and […] was moved to a room in the main hotel property. The waterpark though small is fun and our grandson loved it. The hotel beds, were in a word some of the worst that we have ever slept on. Rooms here are extremely nice and up to date. The tub in the bathroom is a little small, but just fine for showers. The indoor water park is decent, not as good as Grand Country, but the quality of rooms far surpasses the other hotel. Lifeguards are among the most attentive and vigilant I've ever seen. Pros: Very clean; friendly service; Bottom floor room very convenient and was what we requested; Two of the 3 rooms we reserved had microwaves and refridgerators in them and upon inquiry as to why the 3rd room did not have these features, we were told they normally were provided at an extra charge, however since they were still in the two rooms it would […] be a 'freebie'. We were delighted! Cons: Our trip was mostly to be in Hollister so the location of Castle Rock was a bit further than we would have liked to have been. Hotel was very nice and clean! Water park was great for the kids, and adults as well. I will stay at Castle Rock again. The location was just off the main drag, convenient, but far enough away to avoid it if you want/need to.

The water park was great and the life guards were very well trained and did an excellent job. However, the room was a different story. We found the bathroom floor very dirty and the bedspread was also very nasty. The room was small and smelly. Perhaps the rooms in the main building are nicer, but I won't be staying in that building again.

we stayed 3 nights, it was vclean and all but the beds were hard as a rock pillows were flat as a board, tv was deff outdated but had a ok picture.. deff outdated! waterpark was great for little kids, lazy rive was shut down, main reason we picked this hotel was bc the waterpark...

Decent waterpark. Stay in the tower...not the motel. The motel is across the parking lot. Food was no good. The buffet breakfast at $5.99 was a let down. If you stay..eat out. PS Waterpark is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

We chose this hotel because of the lazy river. Got to the hotel check-in and they said lazy river was broken. We informed them that is the whole reason we picked hotel . We were going to contact another hotel in Branson that had the lazy river but the hotel representative said since we booked on-line and didn't give a 24 hour notice, we would still […] have to pay for the room. The rooms were clean, the waterpark was clean, the staff was very nice. The beds were a smidge hard & I will bring extra pillows next time - but we will stay again! For the price it was perfect!

We had an awesome time in Branson and all the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the waterpark and hope to come back soon.

The staff was very friendly. The food prices where reasonable. My kids loved the bunk beds. The water park and hotel is aging. What you see in the pictures is all there is for the water park. My young kids (7 & 4) liked it for awhile and then got bored with it. Not really a great water park for the toddler and under 42 inch set. Given the state of the […] water park my "great" rate didn't seem so great. Not sure the water park fully justifies the increased rates. We walked into the room and it had not been vaccumed...there was white stuff on the floor by the bathroom and sink area...We had to wipe down the sink area, because there was stuff all over it. The pillows were flat as pancakes...bought extra pillows for comfort. This was a great place to bring kids and a they had a blast! The room rate is great for the fun at this hotel. They have 2 pools outdoors, and then 2 children's pools indoors. 2 large slides and a lazy river. They also have 2 regular pools inside. The lifeguard staff is very attentive. Constantly moving and watching. They have great painted murals in […] the pool area. The Grill there is pretty decently priced. My daughter got injured right after we got there (not their fault!) and they lifeguard staff was great in cleaning her up and directing me to the nearest hospital. All the staff was nice. They provide you a playpen if needed:) The only complaint I have is the carpets in the room could use a shampoo a little more often. They made our feet pretty dirty. We took one look at the room and immediately checked out and booked a room at another resort. The staff i found out later did not check me out and did not offer me a refund.

Floors were very dirty, my kids feet were black after running around without shoes on. The bathtub looked really dirty and the tub in my parents room didn't drain very well so they had to stand in water to take a shower. Was not the room that you would expect for that much money/night.... have stay at other places for have the price, was much cleaner […] and they had complimentary breakfast. Very Disappointed. Room and hotel were clean, staff were very friendly. Concierge at the hotel is a big plus too.

Water park was great. Beds were old and felt like sleeping on springs. pillows were flat and woreout. Room could of been cleaner had a peace of gum stuck on one of the head board. When there with three kids we all love the pool area. Rooms need help. Internet hook was very very slow and kick you off after about 15 minutes

We took an extended weekend to Branson and wanted a nice hotel at a good price. Because we stayed in an older building of the resort we got an excellent price and still enjoyed the water park. I took my 5 year old granddaughter here for her birthday. We got a tower room which was really cool because it has a little alcove with bunk beds as well as the 2 queen beds. The hotel is very family orientated and very well run. The waterpark is just fabulas!! They do provide life vest free of charge so you don't need to bring your own. With 3 kids, this is a great hotel. We absolutely had a great time there. We would recommend this hotel for anyone with kids. They had pools for kids of all sizes. I have stayed at this hotel before and things were as good now as they were when they first opened. The front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The waterpark is a great way to entertain the kids when it is cold outside. The lifeguards are very nice and are friendly. I will definately stay at this hotel again. This was a great family hotel, the only downfall at all is the beds. We had a fantastic time but squeaky beds were not fun at all. But since we were not there to sleep you can't really count that agains the hotel. It was fun, clean, in a great location, staff was friendly and helpful. GOOD TIMES!

Unlike with some other hotels that have different buildings, it seems to me as if the Atrium rooms, were at one point a completely separate 2 star motel which made a deal to use the Castle Rock name and pool. Even on the maps that you can get for free anywhere, it's marked as a separate motel. That being said, the rooms were fine, the bed was a little […] hard as some previous reviews mentioned. Just understand that you are staying at a motel if you choose not to stay in the more expensive Tower rooms. For the price, it may not be worth it, but the pool was real nice. They don't do breakfast on the weekdays, but there is an affordable breakfast buffet across the street called Dockers. Service was fine, except midway through my stay, my door key deactived. I'm guessing on the original checkin, the key wasn't set to be used for the full stay. No big deal, they fixed it right away. My only complaint was one of the service ladies tried to blame me for demagnatizing it with my cell phone. I didn't argue and just said ok, but when I tried my other key card, which had been sitting on the table the whole time it didn't work either! The person should've just kept her mouth shut rather than trying to blame the customer, seeing as how I wasn't trying to assign blame or complain in the first place. I picked this hotel because of the indoor water park. My son enjoyed himself, but he would probable would have enjoyed himself just as much at another hotel with a nice pool. The slides and the lazy river was fun, but I thought that we would spend hours in the pool and didn't. The room was as expected. It was pretty much average as was the cleaning […] service. my only complaint is the pillows are wore out and need to be replaced. we had a very good stay and both kids and adults enjoyed the water park.

stayed with gradkids 6 and 11 water park was great for there ages . big open space helps with noise level. would stay again i would book bigger room next time in main building

The room was not what I expected, but adequate. The maid service was a little suspect. The first full day of our stay, we did not receive service until after 5:00 p.m. The second day, they came at 9:00 a.m. When they did clean, they did a poor job. Having said that, the overall stay at the hotel was positive.

Put us in an adjacent hotel known as Atrium at Castlerock.Don't know how people rate to stay in main Hotel,but were very dissatisfied with the Atrium.Will not ever go back.Save some money and get a nicer place with a nice pool.

the atrium section of the hotel where we stayed was no more than a run down motel 6. The rooms were dirty and there was a good portion of the water park that was not open. The water park was also less than cleanly maintained. The bathrooms were not clean either.
