The suite was one of the best rooms we've been to. Very big, with a kitchen, sofa, desk, good bed with prober linen, nice bathroom and lots of space. The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

"Get some good matress's"
Bed was way way too high,, I am only 5'4" tall I need a ladder to get into bed. The matress was ridicuously soft. What century were they from?. The TV veiwing was a joke. The HVAC was lousy. The room was either too cold or too hot. No happy medium. Even a slight chill would have been better. don't like bathtubs because of my arthritis, but at least […] this one had a grab bar & the bathtub was non slippery. "Hampton Inn Detroit/Utica - Friendly Staff"
My husband and I spent one night (Sat.) at the hotel. We were attending the Strauss Festival at one of the local banquet halls. We used the hot tub and pool. Hotel very clean. Staff very attentive to all needs of guests. Fabulous complimentary breakfast. King rooms have walk in showers only. 2 queen rooms have tub/showers. Houusekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

For the holidays I was visiting my daughter who lives in Shelby Township. Her home is small so I opted to stay at the Hampton Inn. It was wonderful. "Hampton Inn - Shelby"
Hotel facilities were in good shape and customer service was very good. The price was good for what we received. Our only complaint is that the hotel was by itself in an industrial park and not in the town center as the website suggests. The drive into town was about 10-15 minutes.

Everything was very nice. the only complaint were the pillows. they did not allow me to sleep very well. More traditional pillows would have been better. Otherwise the stay was very nice.

Hotel was very clean. Convenient to shopping. Staff very courteous. Kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub.
"Shelby Detroit hampton"
Close to major shopping, 45 min from Detroit. Easy freeway access. The stay was pleasant. Breakfast was very good. The spa and pool were nice. Computer acces and workout roomnice as well. Would recommend.

Hotel was immaculate, beds were very soft and comfortable. Was very reasonably priced for such a plush hotel. The hot breakfast bar was extremely appetizing and the food was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again!
"Good for a swim"
We stayed here one night on the kids' winter break to let the kids swim. The pool was well kept and warm. It was fun to watch it snow while swimming. The room was above average for this price range. Comfortable bedding and clean. The TV was almost too big. We'll probably stay here again next year.
