The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having the sitting area in the room. The staff was extremely friendly. It was only about 10 minutes away from the Navy training base and it was located around several restaurants, stores, coffee shops, and bowling alleys. It was a good location. Already have plans to stay there again.

I was concerned that there was inadequate staff, as it was obvious a large group of young people were roaming the halls and enjoying their joints by the back entry. I was very dissappointed in the area of the hotel, there was really nothing there. The nearest thing was a Walmart which I protest against seeing how I am a Union worker. I was led to beleive there were more ammentaties to the hotel that were not there. Although the bed was confortable for my 82 yr old mother the pull out couch was very unconfortable […] and i have slept on a lot of couch beds. Too expensive for the amenities available. Modern looking but not comfy. Little pool and no hot tub.

I really liked the accommodations. Two queen beds plus a pull out couch. It was clean and a nice interior design for a limited area with sliding doors to bathroom. Liked separation of toilet and shower to accommodate more than one person at a time. Location near food and the LA Fitness was a bonus.

Our room was spotless, very up to date. Everyone was polite and helpful. The shower and bathroom were in two different room, witch was very nice. The vending machines that I came across were all pop, no candy or chips. That you needed to go to the loby to get. There is a Wallmart within walking distance. The only drawbacks were no way to lock the sliding […] doors to the bath and shower. And bring your own shampoo and conditioner, they don't give you more than one showers worth. We really enjoyed this hotel. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff. The staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and while we were there, a huge snow storm came through and they did an outstanding job with snow removal near our vehicle. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and plan to stay here again.

This was a very clean, very modern hotel. The staff was helpful and everything was great. We did stay on the first floor and some people stayed in the commons area and socialized very late and loud on Saturday evening. I did not get up and complain but I wish the staff had told them to keep it down a bit. I think if I would have called, they would have […] handled it. Our overnight stay for our family of four was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, The room, lobby and pool were all nice and clean, and the hot breakfast in the morning all contributed to our feeling satisfied with our choice of this hotel.

This place was great! We were there for my step daughters boot camp graduation. While there we were given step by step directions to different places of interest. The staff was great and the room was great! I would be willing to stay at this hotel again if I were going back to this location.

This is a great Hotel to stay at if you are attending a Navy Bootcamp PIR. They have a shuttle service (for a small fee) to and from the base. They also have restaurant information and directions for just about any local attraction at the front desk. Superb service!

This was our first visit to this hotel, but it will not be our last. We stayed in the area to go to fright fest at six flags for halloween weekend. We brought 8 kids and they loved the hotel as much as we did!

We got this hotel at the last minute and were generally happy with it. The service of the hotel staff upon check in was quite cold but I often chalk things like that up to either poor personality or having lots to do. Sad as it is I felt like the former was the case. If you're not coming to see a loved one in the military or shop there isn't really much to do. Breakfast left something to be desired. They say it's complimentary though we all know that we pay for it through our room rate. We don't stay places without breakfast. The hours were until 10am and it was Sunday. It was very busy and by 9:45 a person could barely move around the breakfast area. There were two individuals working and asking if certain items were still being served was met with, literally, a grunt. By 9:45 the eggs, sausage and oatmeal were gone, the juices coming out of the machine were water, and the place was a disaster. I understand busy restaurants/eating areas, but it should have not been allowed to get this gross. This wasn't something that was just spilled, it was dry and crusty. It seems to me that if breakfast is served until 10am then everything needs to be available until 10am. Just because the sausage is gone by 9:45 doesn't mean it shouldn't be refilled. There should be a caveat that says all the food is available until 10am or until it's gone. We ended up with bagels and milk while one of the two people working the breakfast was surprised to see a friend and stopped to talk. Having stayed at several of the hotels closer to Great America, this one is well worth the short drive. The room accomodated one adult and four children very well. Hotel and room condition were top notch. Breakfast offered many choices. Only advice is get there early. Pool is on the small side, but very clean - a worthwhile trade off. We loved this hotel. It has modern upscale decor with a very budget friendly price. The rooms are spacious offering a separate living area. The bathroom was split into two rooms which seems odd but came in very handy having two sinks in two rooms when everyone was getting ready for the day. Hotel was very stylish and our room was clean and comfortable. Wished we could have stayed more than one night. Definitely plan on staying at another Springhill Suites again.

Loved the hotel! Loved the price! loved that I got to use my hotelbucks on it! Overall, very excited on how well our stay went. We will defiantly stay here again. Literally going to remodel our master bedroom like our hotel room!!!

The continental breakfast was OK and we had some trouble finding the hotel, but EVERYTHING ELSE was fantastic: the lobby, pool, the room space/design/decor, the king bed, huge screen TV, the peace/quiet and the proximity to the Super Wal-Mart, Gurnee Mills and the top-notch BBQ shack down the street (Big Ed's BBQ)! My husband and I have three children and I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness and over all appearance. The hotel was spotless, rooms were very clean and put together. The room had enough leg room for all of us to move around without walking all over eachother and I loved that the shower/tub was separate from the toilet. Breakfast in the morning […] was great. We were planning to come to my son's Naval Basic Training graduation and needed a place to stay for four nights. We were very glad we chose this place for several reasons: First, the room layout is great with a separate sleeping and lounging area. THere are times when we would just come back to the room with him while he was on liberty and visit or […] watch TV. We had other family members with us, so the separate shower/toilet areas were great. Each had a sink, so it allowed more people to get ready at the same time. We also made good use of the microwave and refrigerator, and everyone appreciated the hi-def flat panel TV (probably 40" or so). The breakfast was great as well. Included were egg patties, sausages, cereals, fresh oatmeal (not instant), fresh waffles, fruit, muffins, etc. Just a good variety and enough choices that you didn't have to eat the same thing everyday. The hotel is situated close to Walmart and several places to eat, but there are sidewalks in the area, so if you want to walk, you can. The whole facilitiy is non smoking, which we loved. We stayed here 3 nights for Great Lakes Boot camp graduation. Two nights were free from my accumulated hotels.com points. We had an excellent suite and the staff were awesome! Cheap shuttle to and from the ceremony. Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel was in excellent condition and was extremely clean. The décor was fresh and modern, and the customer service was great. Would defiantly recommend the hotel and we will stay every time we head to Six Flags Great America.

We spent the day at Six Flags, then retired to the hotel, which was fun, brightly colored and decorated, very modern, clean, and fresh. They have an amazing outside seating area with a fire and water display, a cozy little bar area, great brekafast, and beautiful rooms. Loved it all, and the price was reasoanble.

Beautiful room!! We stayed there for one night on a Saturday. The rooms are very modern with retro furniture. The sliding doors for the bathrooms are excellent. Also a plus is the separate toilet room from the shower room. Front desk was superb! And the breakfast is amazing! Hotel was very nice, rooms are large and well laid out. The hotel is in a newer shopping area with lots of nearby restaurants. There were 12 of us in 3 rooms,which included 4 children,the kids loved the pool. The Hotel is close to Great Lakes Naval Training Center, and a great place for staying with children. We turned east instead of west at nearest exit to the Hotel; then spent 1 hour driving east and north trying to find the Hotel. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable nights rest. However, the night of my stay there were many children running around the lobby/ bar area without proper parental guidance. Our stay was for one night. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a nice hotel. The rooms were a nice size, beautifully appointed and clean. We will definately look for and stay at SpringHill Suites again where ever we travel.

Great hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are modern and cozy. It's within walking distance of wal mart and many restaurants including buffalo wild wings, chili's and sweet tomatos. Starbucks and dunkin doughnuts is also near by.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was great, very friendly service. I have stayed at other hotels with the same quality but have paid much more. Excellent value.

I waited for a very long time for an item that the front desk had assured me that had sent up to my room. The person at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful.

The "king" room is designed and equipped for the business traveler. Great work space and relaxation area with nice appointments.

I chose this hotel the first time because it was one of the few places that had a check in age of only 18. I stayed there the next two times because my husband and I fell in love with the place. From the twelve nights I have stayed there I only have two complaints. There is an indoor pool which is fabulous, but there is no hot tub.
