I was satisfied with everything except the included "breakfast." The coffee seemed to be Nescafe, and the milk was contained in an unmarked container that you'd never guess held milk. The "front office" guy was very surly when I knocked on his back office to inquire. Nary a bagel in sight. I think that future ads should specify just exactly what kind […] of breakfast is offered. This was a skimpy continental breakfast masquerading as "breakfast." It should be advertised as either a "continental breakfast" or a "full / hot breakfast." Plumbing fixtures were very loud, as were up stair guest walking across floor, otherwise the lodging was okay as a fairly low cost but clean and relatively spacious (King bed room) motel.

pretty good and cheap. great food place a cross the road. soft beds. would stay again

We stayed here based on online reviews, location, and price. Staff was courteous and check-in was quick. Room, equipped with a compact fridge and microwave (with dials instead of keypad), was clean with dated decor. All rooms are accessed from an outside walkway and have a large picture window that lets everyone walking past look in your room– you'll […] have to choose between drawing the blinds for privacy or opening them for natural light. Probably the nicest of the 3 Travelodge properties in Flagstaff. Very large rooms. Clean. Can accomodate families. Multiple King beds in each room available. This one is the furthest west with access to 180 and the south entrance of the Grand Canyon. Nice diner across the street.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint would be a skimpy continental breakfast- white toast, a couple mini-muffins, fruit loops or cheerios, that's about it - probably should have gone out for breakfast.

trust me, the picture on this site isn't the hotel you will stay at. and as for calling itself a convention center, it is far from that. The manager is rude and booking this has been a big disappointment. I expected more, wanted it in the midst of an area where conventions are held which means eateries, etc and got an old hotel. Was a good hotel for an overnight stay. Was close to restaurants and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was reasonably clean but we noticed the tile had been polished before we arrived and was extremely slippery and dangerous, especially for children. The manager didn't seem to care much when I told him. We were virtually ignored and never received a welcome or good morning from anyone, price was good but would not return here.

close to downtown, NAU, all roads out. the neighborhood was a little intimidating and the constant train next door scared us until it finally became just background noise. Room was clean and sheets were clean and everything worked which is the only reason I gave it an overall rating of 3..what more can you ask for a bargain price? Complimentary breakfast was less than satisfactory.. poor tasting instant coffee - no variety of items all that was available was white bread for toasting - no fruit, muffins. There was a couple of cereals, but looked like they have been there for some time. Have had better in other motels. Outside of motel requires paint - furnishings where ancient […] - tv old. When I asked for receipt on checkout - I was told none available as I had booked online. I wanted to confirm the rate and was told he "didn't know" The surrounding lot was "junky". I was pleasantly surprised by the price of this room given the size, cleanliness, and quality of the room. The room was equipped with a featherbed cover, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Very nice. My only complaints are the quality of the continental breakfast and that there was no moisturizing lotion provided in the room (with the soap, shampoo, etc.). […] However, very nice for the price. Relatively cheap price for room. Didn't appreciate the additional thirty buck charge because we were over the limit on the amount of people for our room, even though our room had two king size beds. There were four of us. Two adults and two children. Continental breakfast consisted of toast, miniature muffins, two types of cereal, instant oatmeal, […] instant coffee in a dispenser and orange juice and milk. Dining area was tiny had five tables, one that sat four, one that sat three and three tables that sat two guest. We had to wipe down our own tables before we could sit and eat, this was not done by the staff after guest vacated their table. Breakfast hours were from 6-9 am. The weather stripping on our room door was torn and you could see daylight through it. Because the night time weather temperature dipped to the high twenties and low thirties, we had to place a blanket on the bottom of the door so the cold air would not enter the room. Poor lighting in the vanity room area adjacent to the bathroom- Fluorescent lights flickered, hard on the eyes. However, it did appear that the hotel was under some construction and in the process of making improvements. Location was good. easy access to the main routes in and out of the town. Train trestle was close to hotel about a quarter mile but we didn't hear it from our room. Would I stay here again? Chances are unlikely, maybe if I was traveling on business and staying for a shorter period. This was more of a working class hotel but if you just want a roof over your head and a decent bed at a fair price this would be the place. Lisätietoja

Five star - 2nd experience, very nice. With microwave and non smoking property. Heaven for vegetarians who brings food from home

I always prefer this hotel as it is conveniently located. Has good views. "HAS A MICROWAVE IN IT" - this is biggest benediction to me since I eat mostly organic/vegan so I don't need to search for restaurants. I bring my own food and heat it up - that's it. Another biggest advantage is "GOOD RATES" it is not what you cannot afford. Average rates which […] is really nice. Third thing is whole property is non-smoking - this keeps college kids and noise away from it. Sorry no offences but I and my wife cannot tolerate smoking etc or noise/partying mid night kind of things. I rate this 5 star this time as last visit in summer. Love to recommend this place. Booked this hotel on line as part of a road trip myself and 3 friends were doing. only stayed for 1 night but out of all the hotels we stayed at on route, it was the cheapest and the best!!

Looks rough on outside but decent on inside. The Cons: Water pressure is non-existent. Clerk initially gave us a dirty room that wasn't ready. Breakfast is over at 9a (sharp) and it's just cereal, toast, oatmeal, juice. No fruit or warm selections. The Oddities: Toilet too big for bathroom so there was a jagged cutout in the bathroom door so it could […] close around without hitting toilet. In between other hotels. Hard to find on busy Route 66. Not a conference center ! Don't know why they call it that. Continental Breakfast the worst I've had. White toast, instant coffee and cereal, muffins.

this hotel was conventiently located for dining options close by and for traveling to the Grand Canyon for the day.. clean rooms, basic.breakfast options, toast, cereal, etc...overall good place for the price would recommend to friends and stay here again.

This place was great. Close to the grocery store and local restaurants. The hotel staff was amazing and polite. Not to far of a drive to great sledding places and snowbowl ski resort. The price for the quality just can not be beat. Highly recommended to all.

We arrived after 9pm and the night clerk checked us in but he was not friendly and very unhelpful when we asked where the room was located. The room was warm and clean. For the price it was a good hotel. Customer service really needs improvement.

Spent one night. Hotel was clean and is a non-smoking establishment. Includes continental breakfast (muffins, toast, oatmeal, cold cerial, juice, coffee and tea). Central location makes it easy to get just about anywhere in town in minutes.

My husband and I had a great time. Everything was perfect the room, the staff, and the view from our room was more than we expected for the price we paid. overall one of the best hotel stays we ever had.

We asked to check in early so that we could watch the super bowl and pre game. the person at the desk said no, not until 3. even though the parking lot was empty and there were rooms available.

The room was newly done, very clean, beds are okay, seemed to sink in, and bathroom was very clean. The service was not good. Clerk very aloof and uninformative at ck in. At chk out wasn't allowed to eat breakfast, because clerk says "breakfast is over at 9:00" even though it was just after 9:00 a.m. Would have been down by 9:00 am if I knew "Breakfast […] is over at 9:00 a.m." Room very clean--service very cold Lisätietoja

I can not even express how rudely we were treated by the night manager. The sheets were definitely not clean, they had black hairs on them..the sink was not clean, the carpets were not properly vacuumed. Also the alarm clock was broken and the fridge. When I complained about the fridge not working I was asked "well do you really need it" when I said […] yes she told me "well we have an ice machine you can use...and no one else had complained about there fridge" we ended up getting a different room, which I apologized for asking for, hoping me being kind, polite and grateful, would encourage her to do the same, I was again let down. No apology. No thank you. It just seemed to bother her more. I would rather sleep in my car than go there again. At least my car is clean, reliable, and doesn't treat me like like a pest when I feed it money. Lisätietoja

Couldn't ignore the high ratings and low price. Was not disappointed!

This was better than my expectations. Room was quite spacious and had TV, microwave and refrigerator. We had two rooms and those were interconnected like 1. So 5 of us didn't feel like in separate rooms.
