Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The suite was one of the best rooms we've been to. Very big, with a kitchen, sofa, desk, good bed with prober linen, nice bathroom and lots of space. The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

I was impressed by the room (with two large flat screen TV's) and the quality of service. Everybody was really friendly. However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

We love staying at the Canton Comfort Suites. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable and we love bringing our Detroit grandchildren over for a swim and fun times with Grandma and Grandpa. The hotel had very large rooms which were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was fabulous. I plan on using this hotel again and highly recommend it.

We were in town to visit family. Shopping, food, and family event was all close by. Ikea was directly across the street. Canton is a small township with a lot to offer. Also, if your in the area, be sure to check out the businesses in the downtown of Plymouth township right next to Canton.

"Great overall stay, especially for the price"
I was very happy with our stay. It was a perfect location as we had business in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and West Bloomfield. It was a great middle ground in terms of drive time to any of the three locations. The room was nice, bedding was clean and the beds themselves were very comfortable. One complaint...We had read somewhere that there was an airport shuttle. When we tried booking the shuttle (one way, back to the airport) we were told that there was a $30 cost. This hotel was a great value for what we paid. The room was large, and upon our request we were put in a very quiet location on the top floor. The beds were comfortable and we didn't hear a peep from outside our room.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a decent hotel. The things I didn't like we're I could hear everything my neighbor was saying while in the bathroom, the pool was deep even in the shallow end. It was over my 6 year olds head and breakfast is only till 9 am. The beds were comfy though and having the mini fridge and DVD player were nice additions. "Canton,MI wonderful access!"
We really enjoyed our stay - no time for pool, but it is located close to swimming and gymnastics meets. After our stay, we went across the street and did all our holiday shopping at IKEA. Breakfast was much better than anticipated. It was nice to have so many healthy options and not be stuck with cereal and donuts as with most chains.

Needed a place close to U of M hospital for a few days and this hotel was very hospitable. The staff was friendly, the public areas were spotless and our room was very clean. The extras like coffee and tea being available all day and the well stocked breakfast helped make the stay more comfortable for my spouse which was very appreciated.

"Home away from home"
We visit the Canton area regularly and we have stayed in this hotel most often. It is very clean, quiet and the staff is so nice. It is always a great price for a nice place to stay. We will be back in the spring!!

Clean large rooms with nice big interior hallways; even the stairway! WiFi worked great, but no flat screen TV with HD in the room. Also, sink & mirror are in the nice sized bathroom. Easy to get to from HWY & easy to walk across a not very busy street to IKEA. Less than half an hour from Ford Field in downtown Detroit. Staff very helpful, but not many […] smiles. Breakfast area very nice, food typical for free breakfast --from 7 am to 10 am on Sunday. Pool is small. Vending machines with Pepsi & Coke products available. Would stay at it again if I come back into town. Had a very nice location for me and my family. The girls running the desk was very nice and very accomodating and allowed us to check into our room early after driving for five hours to get there. Thank you so much!

We brought our grandson with us to visit family . The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable . The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially to our grandson. Breakfast was plentiful with many selections. Only complaint was a slow tub drain and the cooling system took some work to cool down the room.

when i called to make my reservations the man i talked to assured me that my room would be ready for me when i arraived in michigan. it was to be handycap assisible. i drove 9 hours with my brother who is a wheel chair paitent. when i got there my room was not availible i had to wait for almost an hour for the guy to get my room while my brother was […] still waiting in the car totally tired out from the trip. this i did not like. Comfort Suites Canton is a very clean and comfortable hotel. It's directly across the street from IKEA, and there are numerous restaurants and stores up and down Ford Road. The only problem I had was that the air-conditioning worked a bit too well. The minute the air kicked on, it was like an arctic blast blowing through the room. "Superior value"
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the value offered by this hotel. The room could be twice the price under a different hotel name. The room was big, new, well furnished and very clean. We had stayed at the Fairfield next door on a previous trip and there is no comparison - the Quality suite was a much better value all around.

I loved my stay! My 4year old son an I came for a mini one day trip. My son loved the room. We ordered take out and ate in the room on the little table in the living room area....the mini fridge and microwave was convenient! We want to come back and stay again! I love comfort suites and have always had great experiences with the hotel!

I thought this was a great hotel for the area, and having free, breakfast was a plus, but the instant scrambled eggs could have been better. The health center was great, and the pool small but cozy. The room was very nice, spacious , and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel is brand new but has been designed and decorated to look like an assisted living facility. Yuck! The room was oddly laid out with a king bed, one side of the bed was against the wall and3 inches from the horrendous through the wall heater which was very loud and turned on and off every 3-4 minutes. This is a new hotel and it felt like one. Nice new large rooms with a nice fitness center and tiny pool. The employees were all wonderful and considerate. The hot breakfast was somewhat poor, due to the "fake" eggs they used in scrambled and omlettes. There were some decent finds, but most of the breakfast food tasted bland, and plastic.
