Olimme lomalla, kaupunki entuudestaan tuttu, joten tiesimme sijainnin, ja se on ihanteellinen. Hancock Tower nurkan takana, ja siitä alkaa magnificent Mile. Toiseen suuntaan muutama sata metriä ja pääset aamulenkille pitkin Chicagon upeita rantoja. Hotelli oli ihan siisti, sinänsä varsin hyvässä kunnossa, kokolattiamatot tietysti joka paikassa, kuten tapaan kuuluu, mutta kuuma oli. Huoneessa ei joko ilmastointi toiminut tai oli alitehoinen, siellä oli tukalan kuuma. Lattia antoi hieman periksi paikoin (ilmeisesti levyjen nurkissa), mutta se ei ei haitannut. Toinen haittaava ongelma oli wc-pöntön jatkuva tukkeentuminen, ja hieman kuulostelin, että veden kanssa oli hieman ehkä yleisemminkin ongelmaa. Päivystäjä oli kyllä aina paikalla parissa minuutissa fiksaamassa ongelman. Aamulla sai kahvia, jos haluaa enemmän, saa lähialueen kuppiloista mukavia bageleita. Eli: jos olet visiitillä, ja haluat liikkua ydinkeskustassa, on tämä hyvä vaihtoehto. Luksusta ei, mutta ihan kelpo ja hinta ok. Huoneet isoja, mahtuu useampikin perheenjäsen. Jos vähänkin tuntee paikkoja, niin cta:lla (juna) chicagon asemalle ja bussilla 66 joka lähtee maanalisesta noustua risteyksen vastakkaiselta puolelta rantaa kohti, ja jää pois Michigan avenuen kohdalla) (turisti-info), siitä on kahden korttelin kävelymatka. 2,25 usd.

Kokolattiamatto oli melko likainen. Suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Erittäin hyvä sijainti.

My family and I had a great stay at the Hilton. The breakfast staff was a bit slow and unorganized and the food was just ok. I would stay at the hotel again and next time just order room service.

While it isn't going to be your downtown Chicago experience, the hotel is located close to a ton of shops, a mall, and a decent selection of chain-type restaurants. It's a nice, seemingly safe area of town if you're concerned about that.

Came to the Chicago area for a Chicago Bears game and didn't want to pay the high prices of a hotel in the city and Schaumburg has a great mall and other shopping to do so it was a perfect location and only a 25 minute drive from the city at a forth of the price! I will be back next month!

Great Location. Location was close to Woodfield Mall and surrounding shopping, and diniing establishments. The hotel was comfortable, convenient, and clean. The staff were courteous and professional. I plan on staying here in the future. Great Value for the money!
Great hotel, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Beds were wonderful but pillows (even the foam ones) affected my allergies. Nice breakfast options and friendly front desk clerks. House keepers were very accommodating. Would stay here again!

I returned to Schaumburg during Labor Day weekend and was very pleased with my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The front desk service was friendly, maids were respectful of "do not disturb" signs on the door if you wanted to sleep in late and the overall experience was great. I thought the stay was average. The linens on the bed were very comfortable. The complaint comes to the bathroom cleanliness. It had a strange pungent smell to it. "Hilton Garden Schaumburg IL."
Great hotel. Room more than met our expectations (spacious with fridge and microwave). Delicious breakfast. Staff was very pleasant. Location was perfect for us - near Woodfield mall, lots of restaurants near and a few miles from the train station for downtown Chicago. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed 2 nights at this Hilton Garden Inn in August for a weekend getaway for a concert at Allstate Arena & this hotel was just perfect for us. Great area, close to all attractions in Schaumburg, IKEA, Woodfield Mall, etc. The front desk staff were always very friendly & helpful, breakfast staff were great too. We had the "bed & breakfast" package […] & would definitely do that again, had wonderful choices for hot & cold items & the omelets were delicious! The room/breakfast package is a great value & would love to stay there again. The pool area is a little small, if there were a lot of people swimming it could feel a little crowded, but we were lucky as every time we went swimming, we were the only people there so didn't bother us a bit. The complaint is the smell that was in the room. It was almost a musty smell. You have to pay for breakfast, but you do get a choice of ordering a full breakfast, or chosing 3 items for $3.00 which was fine with us. "Woodfiled Hotel Near shopping and restaurants etc"
Went to a convention at the Rennasance Convention Center in Schaumburg and needed a hotel to stay at. Hilton Garden Inn was a great choice. Reasonably priced and down the street from the Woodfield Mall. Has a nice restaurant and even a bar. Great Hotel and location would definitely stay again and recommend to stay as well. Thank You
"Breakfast so not worth the 13.00"
The omelate was dry and just lousy. potatos were cold, toast was ok. I could have gone anywhere and gotten a better breakfast for at least a third less in cost.

"The bed was actually more comfortable than my own!"
I've never reviewed a hotel before; but I truly feel that the Hilton Garden Inn at Schaumburg deserves a review. The service was so outstanding that I actually looked around to see if the lady who checked us in was being monitored by a manager or some such--she was friendly and warm and asked all of the guests just the right amount of questions to […] make you feel special without being overbearing or annoying. The room was fantastically clean--there was not a hair or a spot anywhere. And my favorite part--I kid you not, the bed was actually more comfortable than our own at home. We had two queen-sized beds--one for my husband and me and one for our two young kids--and it was heavenly. I literally felt like I was sleeping on a cloud--you sink right in to just the right degree. Breakfast the next day was delicous and included numerous hot and cold options--we chose quite a few of both. I will say that my husband did not like the coffee--although he believes it may have actually been the creamer that he found unpleasant. My only complaint--I didn't like how the tv did not have HGTV or the Food Network. For us, it was a Saturday night and there wasn't all that much on television that was appropriate for the kids, but that would also keep me interested--HGTV and Food Network are good matches on both accounts. Okay, maybe one more complaint--and this was a real disappointment--the pool is actually very small. We're squeamish about large numbers of people and we bypassed the pool as with just a handful of swimmers it was deemed way too crowded for us. The surrounding area has lots to offer--a large mall with myriad restaurants, a movie theater, etc. Overall, the place was fantastic. We travel out to Illinois about once a year to visit my husband's family and I am truly thinking that we will organize the trip around a stay at this hotel. Lisätietoja

"Great rate for the room"
This hotel met our needs of a clean, affordable place to stay that was not too far out of the way. It is only about a mile away from Woodfield Mall and the surrounding shopping area. It is closer to the business park though than the shopping area. The beds were firm but comfortable. Very clean! Nice place to stay for the money!

"Swimming Pool?"
The Hotel was nice but the so call Swimming Pool is too exacterated; it's more like a kiddies pool so you can cool off in the hot day (very small, barely larger than the hot tub).
