Solaire Inn & Suites - Santa Maria

Kahvi ja "pulla" ei vastaa käsitystäni aamiaisesta. Vaikka hoteliin ulkonäkö oli nuhjuinen, huone oli todella kauniisti sisustettu kuten hotellin ulkokyltissä luki: "beautiful rooms".

looks better than other motels. but still a little not clean. feels a little tickle when sleeping. almost the best motels.

It was an old motel. New granite counter with 6"x12" inch space. With expensive sink an facet. Nice tile in the shower. The luggage holder was folded up inside the shower. Next to the shower was the ironing board, leaning up against the wall. Small mirror, with a fancy tissue boxer that took up halve the space. We arrived at 2 a.m. and were told we could check out late. At eleven a.m. a maid knocked on the door, didn't wait for an answer, started to come in and told us "eleven. check out now." My husband told her we had late check out and she stood in the doorway and watched me work on my computer while my husband called the front desk, they confirmed we could […] check out at 12:30, but we decided to leave asap because we felt unwelcome with the gustapo treatment. The parking lot was so small, there were zero amenities, the ice was all the way down by the front desk and the neighborhood is creepy with lack of security. Room was extremely small and overpriced. We booked this hotel because it was cheap and conveniently located on our way to LA from San Francisco. The room looks surprisingly nice for a motel, but the sheets, pillow cases and towels - even though clean - were sometimes stained. I do not regret booking this place as we just spend less than 8 hours there.

Everything is environmental friendly. The room itself was beyond my expectation considering the rate. Although we only stayed one night, we will definitively stay again.

Not a bad hotel. However the heater did not work, no hot water at sink, no soap, and no water pressure. Overall it was clean and well kept.

I was on my way out of CA, and decided to try the new Solaire Inn & Suites. The young Lady who checked me in was very cordial, and the room was excellent. It was very spacious, clean, and well appointed. I would highly recommend Solaire to any travelers who discover it ... !

It's right on the main "drag" of Santa Maria, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was clean and comfortable. The Wi Fi signal was strong and worked easily. I'd use this hotel & location again.

Continental breakfast is a joke! Coffee, oat bars and one variety of packaged pastry are about it.

Our motel room was so full of toxic chemical fumes that I got a headache and burning eyes after staying in the room (with the door and window open) for about 10 minutes. We left the motel at about 11:30 PM and drove over 50 miles to find a motel with a vacancy on a Saturday night. Nobody should have to endure this kind of toxicity regardless of the […] price. WE JUST RETURNED FROM OUR 2 DAY STAY AT ROADWAY INN, AND I MUST SAY THE HOTEL WAS NICE. THE BED WAS VERY COMFY, AND THE ROOM SIZE WAS GOOD. THE SO CALLED CONTENTINAL BREAKFAST WAS THE ONLY DIS-APPOINTMENT.IT WAS IN THE HOTEL OFFICE, DANISH & COFFEE ..FIND A NEARBY RESTURANT FOR BREAKFAST........

I stayed at this hotel Labor Day weekend on my way back from San Francisco where I stayed in a fancy hotel that was $320 a night... Rodeway Inn was nicer than the expensive hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area. As a stop place we stayed at this hotel whilst going to san francisco from los angeles.good thing about the hotel is free parking,wifi.bad thing breakfast is not breakfast,we did not mind too much about this.clean motel,not expect too much thing,sufficient to stay short

Arrived at the motel at 1:30 PM and the office door was locked. Rang the bell and the door was opened, greeted by the attendant "What do you want?' We were told we could not get in the room but she would give us the key and then we could go in the room at 3PM. Probably did not want to be bothered again a 3. We saw ther room attendants cleaning and they […] were great in getting our rooms done even though there was quite the language barrier. Got in the room and this was the most stained motel room carpet I have ever encountered, and the walls were stained as well. The room my associate was in had the same story. On the positive the bed was very comfortable and they made an attempt to remodel. The overall experience at this motel was negative. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal, OJ, apple juice, granola bars, packaged danish. On the second day my door card did not work so back to the locked office no answer for 5 minutes and the negative almost hostile greeting from the same person as the first day, and as expected no apology for the inconvenience. We chose this hotel for affordability when attending our son's graduation from CalPoly. The exterior is the standard linear one story motel strip; the interior is quite contemporary and the beds very comfortable. The handsome bathroom free-standing lavatory was somewhat clogged however. By the way the drive to SLO was less than 40 minutes.

I only stayed one night, and it was not so much the hotel, but the other reservations. It happen to be a night where many construction workers were outside drinking all night being loud and obnoxious just outside my door. I had to deal hearing their crap all until midnight. Maybe the hotel staff could have done something about the noise. I have reservations […] about there again, if only I know that same group of workers are to stay at the same place, I would go elsewhere. Otherwise I would have no problem staying there again. This motel seems to be a place where many truckers stay. It was very noisy at 4 a.m. as all the truckers were outside starting their trucks and talking loudly. I would not stay there again.

Room was clean and newly remodelled. Big downside was stains on the rugs. They need replacement. Bathroom sink was a raised bowl and modern faucet, but abosolutely no room for the lady's cosmetics, mirrors, etc. on the vanity top. Overall a nice room and good location for my needs.

We were looking for a place that was clean and comfortable for one night. This motel was both. If you’re looking for a pit-stop on a long road trip, this motel fits the bill. The staff was friendly and the location was far enough away from the freeway so you’re not kept up by the noise, but close enough to get back on the road in just a few minutes. […] The only down side was the breakfast, the orange stuff was not orange juice, I think it was Tang. I found this location to be a very convienient one and the new renovations were excellent! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are cosy and well taken care of and the maid service is excellent. The food was just enough for our morning meal and we had a wonderful visit.

This is a more than decent inexpensive motel. It is near to shopping and restaurants but not at all noisy. Perhaps not the best for families (except for price), it appears to support visiting contractors (construction, road work, etc.). The hotel rooms are newly renovated and are beautiful and clean on the inside. I would totally stay there again!

Something happened here. The staff used to be helpful and friendly, but now are non existent. Single home-style coffee pot that was empty for a continental breakfast of cereal and a packaged danish. The orange juice wasn't juice at all but an orange drink of some type; maybe Tang. Someone at the front desk to monitor the breakfast stock would have been […] nice, as would some morning coffee. Room lighting is poor and, while there is no charge for the wi-fi service, there's also no place to plug in your PC. Our room was very clean. I might wipe the walls down, but thankfully the bedding was very clean.

The heater only blew cold air. Not good when it's 42 degrees outside.

Everything of the hotel was great but the wifi sucked...

The Rodeway Inn has been totally remodelled and is immaculate. The manager is very pleasant and willing to help in any way possible. There are only 23 rooms but they are beautiful and extremely clean. The only fault we could find was that there was no facial tissue in the room and even theough I brought that to the manager's attention, there still was […] none when we came back to the room for the second night. The breakfast is very limited to juice,cold cereal,coffee,fruit and granola bars and there is no where to sit; you must stand up. We come to Santa Maria often and plan on staying there in the future. The location is handy to restaurants, drugstores, markets, etc. The continental breakfast was rolls, orange juice, coffee and fruit--not bad. The rooms and amenities had recently been upgraded and were well done. It was worth it and we would stay again.

Renovated hotel, owner at front desk. Room and bathroom clean, comfortable bed. However, TV on side wall, not in front of bed, a little uncomfortable. No room for side table on one side of bed, no place with plug for coffee maker (had to put it on the floor). Cleaning lady overwhelmed didn't clean the tub or the coffee maker. Fairly standard motel. Rooms in good shape with very good beds. Front desk helpful with wonderful meal recommendation.

The room was great; although the carpet needs to be cleaned. We stayed here for three nights and the only downside was the carpet. Would stay here again!

Reasonable neighborhood, good service, nice room. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed for this level of hotel. My only concern was the hookless shower curtain was not completely clean. Not a big deal, but to some it may be an issue.

Despite the complete remodel of the rooms, this is an old roadside motel building. The room and bathroom were pristine and completely updated but they could not compensate for the structure. The drapes had to be kept closed to maintain privacy from the traffic on the walkway. There was a desk but no chair in the room, but there was no space for a chair […] due to the room size. The motel office closed in the evening and one had to knock on the office door in the morning to access the skimpiest continental breakfast I have ever seen - no juice, no coffee, just a few packaged danish and a few pieces of fruit. No breakfast room. Items had to be carried back to the room where there was no chair upon which to sit. The one-time pool had been filled in and is now lawn. We stayed one night after a wine event. The hotel is basic, without substantial amenities. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, plus the room had a microwave, refrigerator, and plasma TV. The bathroom had tile all around, and had obviously recently been renovated. Overall, a very nice place.

Overall, this was a very nice motel. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The only negative is that there was no chair. So, although there was a desk area, which I wanted to use to get some work done, there was no chair to sit in. However, I had trouble accessing it and the motel staff was not very knowledgeable about it (they didn't know the password). I did manage to get on eventually. This hotel was very comfortable for the money paid, in a quiet location, easily accessible to local amenities. I would definitely recommend it.

Staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing. There was a small box of donuts and a few apples.
