My stay was very pleasant, quiet and convenient good hot shower. However, the carpet was old and while it may have been cleaned looked very dirty. For those wanting to adjust the thermostat in the room would have been challenges since all the markers on the face for adjustment were gone making it a bit of a guessing game and constant adjustment. Stayed in the early spring and got an excellent rate from Hotels.com. Only needed the room for the nights and was satisfied with my stay.

Clean and convenient, what more could you want. Also the clerk was hilarious, that made it better. Two rooms for one night were more than we expected for how nice it was, and a good bargain. Actually some pretty nice decor, much less cheesy than most hotels of this level.

this is a very basic motel-style place, and one of the lowest priced ones in the area. But it does fill a need when one just needs the overnight accomodations. Room was clean, and there was breakfast avail, but we departed very early and did not make it.

The hotel was advertised as a smoke free environment but that was far from true. The smell of stale cigarettes permeated the entire room. My clothes smelled of cigarettes when I left. The bed was so hard I felt like I was sleeping on the floor - some may like that, I found it very uncomfortable. I would not stay there again.

The outside is fairly nice. "Newly and comfortably decorated"? Huh, maybe 20 or so years ago. Very dated, carpet and bed spreads "grungy" feeling. Small bathroom, shower only, although it was surprisingly clean. "Exfoliating" towels (rough) and see through toilet tissue. The "fresh fruit and buns" in the morning? It is a good hotel for a night stay..... though the cost seemed to be a little high. Quiet, situated on the highway. A supermarket and a Chineese/Japaneese restaurant is just opposite to the hotel. Overall ok, the room was decent for the money. The carpet was a little shabby. If I have business in that area again, I would consider staying there.

The beds are tiny and uncomfortable. One of our sheets had cigarette burns on it, and the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking? The shower and the bathroom are located on opposite ends of the room, and the towels/toilet trees are kept with the toilet and not near the shower (this just did not make any sense to me). receptionist not very friendly made an error and directed me to wrong room also had wrong room number on key folder.when i tried to confronted her about this after trying to get into wrong room she would not admit her error the room itself was small the carpet was old and soiled overall not very enticing. will not be returning to this hotel

Price was fair for what you get. The front office staff however had no personality whatsoever. Its as if when he realized I got a cheaper price on-line, he was not going to be as helpful in anyway. I was on my own from that point on.

If you need somewhere relatively cheap to stay near the shore, this isn't terrible. But If you want to stay more than a few nights, find a house to rent and book EARLY.

We have some young, loud, partying women in the room next to us back in June, who went out at 10PM at night, and came back to the room around 2:30AM. The hotel is a dump- ceiling had water damage and was peeling. Carpet was stained and didnt feel clean. Soap in bathroom crumbled when opened. Walls are paper thin and heard it all from neighbors.

Hotel was dated (as you'd expect for a 50-year-old motel at the Jersey Shore) - that said, the place was clean, close to a grocery store, Starbucks, a convenience store and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the pool and the place was quiet. I would not have a problem staying here again.

Motel was well kept and worked well for our large group. Continental breakfast was bare and was displayed in a small space in the tiny lobby but served its purpose as a lite breakfast. Parking/ motel were well lit at night. I would recommend this motel.

Hotel was clean & bed comfortable but the furnishings a bit tired. A/C was great - and quiet! Service was excellent with fresh towels each day. We just used this as a place to sleep while visiting family and friends in the area. It was perfect for that. Pool area looked to be well maintained and clean - although we did not use it.
